 Congratulations! You've just purchased your own copy of the most popular mmo game to date; The World. Combining the best graphics and the latest virtual reality tech... It has to be the most exciting game ever. Even the Beta testers agree that it was awesome. You are so excited, that you run home and install the game on the computer. You pause to take a deep breath, before logging into the game, and slipping on the virtual reality headset. Everything goes fine, what with you making a new character, or transferring over your old one...... That is until you try to log out. You physically can't... And are instead trapped in the game. Everything that happens to you, you feel it. Which means that it's not just a game anymore. Some are happy this way, always wanting to live in a fantasy.... But others... Others are worried about what has happened in the real world. There will be a large battle between these two.... Who will you side with..?

Job Quiz I want this pm'd to me before you make a profile please... This determines your character's occupation... 1. You walk into the bazaar, filled with all sorts of goods from all over The World.... Would you steal something... and if So then What? 2. You've joined a party that is currently on a hard quest. During a battle... which role would you take and why? (ex. front guard.. rear guard... healing.. Long range...) 3. What is your general fighting style when on your own...? 4. Why do you perform quests..? 5. Your favorite activity on your own...? Job list
Knight (Has a lot of power and defense Uses swords and axes)
Thief (uses speed and stealth to do an assortment of tasks... Most agile of the jobs)
Mage (Uses any magic)
Priest/priestess (heals and uses holy magic)
Archer (second most agile, specializes in long range attacks)
Each job has classes underneath them... depending on how you answer the survey, you may receive a specific class... meaning that you are an advanced player in the game.. Funniest Reply To Date: Casidelle 1. You walk into the bazaar, filled with all sorts of goods from all over The World.... Would you steal something... and if So then What? I would steal the self-refilling plate for endless food enjoyment. Comes in settings of steak and potatoes, pizza, pasta, and tacos with refried beans. Also an on/off switch. 2. You've joined a party that is currently on a hard quest. During a battle... which role would you take and why? (ex. front guard.. rear guard... healing.. Long range...) Front guard. I'm running headfirst into it without thinking it through because the monster pissed me off. 3. What is your general fighting style when on your own...? Swinging around a katana and electricity without much thought as to where it is going. 4. Why do you perform quests..? Because I have nothing better to do. The fame and notoriety's not a bad bonus, either. 5. Your favorite activity on your own...? Challenging random people to challenges...in which I normally win.

Race Lists:
Beast Man- Resembles a cross between a human and animal... They have great reflexes.
Human- The average of the world, with plenty of Hardy endurance... Or is it arrogance?
Elf(Dark/Light)- The most versatile in magic... They have great accuracy and agility as well.

What did I do before this...?: Lucy is a long time player, though most don't recognize her on sight. In the real world She's your average high school student, living on their own and enjoying life. However, no one seems to realize that Lucy only really feels happy when she's playing The World. Quite recently, her and her parents got into one of those over the phone fights. In a spat of anger, Lucy ran out and got the newest version, transfering her favorite character over, and started playing.
She hasn't been out since. Not that she cares much. The World makes for a much more exciting place to live actually.

What did I do before this...?: Francheska Rogers was a 14 year old home schooler. She had a very advanced and mature mind, basically she thought and acted like at the very least a 17 year old, if not a 21 year old. Her family was lower-middle class and they weren't getting new things every time she turned around or anything, so she was thrilled when she got The World for a birthday present. She usually wasn't really into all that gamer stuff, but she thought it looked pretty awesome and wanted to try it. Obviously that was a big mistake, seeing as she was now trapped inside The World.
Francheska is now Asanath Strangeways a dark elf and a hunter, trying to find a way out as fast as she can. She has no idea how long she has been under this games spell, which is what distresses her the most. Well you know what they say, time flies when you're having fun...

What did I do before this...?: I was on my own quest to find then loot the perfect treasure, Not seen much online, People only noticed me as I cleared their ‘booty’ or whipped out there party. A high level player, easily spending a long time perfecting his disciplines, He mastered the term of being “Solo “. As he entered the virtual universe of ‘The World’ He continued on his difficult task of pillaging the perfect loot, He found himself surrounded by knights and mages guarding a treasure room, they all were mid-level to mid-high in level. Of course, being the game freak he was, it was all a simple task. All the while, he did not notice that he was stuck in virtual form.

What did I do before this...?: John(Jack) Rogers is Francheska's older brother. After she had basically locked herself in her room for 2 hours playing The World, he had decided to give it a try, seeing as his friend had gotten a copy the other day and had yet to try it out.
You know the story of course. Now he's a thief trying to find his sister and find a way out of this horrible place. He could only imagine how worried his paranoid(In a good controlled way) mom must be.
Oh... I think I forgot something..: He is desperately searching for his little sister, and trusts no one in this game.

Assassin Beastman Aiyai hummed lightly, seated on the large stone pillar in the center of the fountain, the only fountain in the entire City. She was relaxing in Center City, or the City amongst players, and really had nothing to do. Her fur markings stood out amongst beastmen, and she was slimmer than most, even for a female. In all honesty, the perfect physique for an Assassin.

Asanath walked along the low wall of the fountain, counting her footsteps and trying to calm herself down before she had a full on anxiety attack.
Ever since she had joined this stupid game she had been inducing anxiety attacks, and it was driving her nuts. She ran her light purple hands through her silver hair and blinked her dark dark blue almost black eyes. She couldn't stand the thought of what her family was doing or if they were too terribly worried or if time had just stopped out there.
Asanath slipped on some water and fell to the ground.
She let out an angry"F---K!"
Unfortunately, one felt pain in this game.

Assassin Beastman Aiyai looked down, spotting the Dark Elf on the ground. Curious, she tilted her head, her smokey fur shining in the sunlight. After a moment, she slipped off the pillar gracefully, landing lightly in a crouch before going over to the poor player. " Need a hand...? That looked like a nasty fall." She said with a smile, offering her hand to help the other up. Hey... she was a nice player off missions and whatnot. On missions was when she turned into the Assassin... And even then she didn't go after Players.

Asanath smiled back at the kind beast man and took her hand. She didn't really trust the players in this game, but the girl seemed nice enough so she replied.
"Don't worry it probably looked worse than it felt. I appreciate the concern though."
She kind of stood there awkwardly, thinking of something to say. "So, are you with a party or solo?"

Assassin Beastman Aiyai shrugged. " I'm solo at the moment... I'm a high enough level that i don't necessarily need a party anymore... Though the game seems funner that way... Why do you ask?" She watched the other player, her head tilted curiously as she waited for an answer, her tail swishing. It only stilled when something was wrong.

She shrugged. "I dunno really. Thought the silence was slightly awkward. Trying to get my mind clear so I don't have another anxiety attack." The Dark Elf nervously laughed. "So I know I won't get suddenly ambushed by a group of thieves, even though if you were a thief you would probably lie anyways..." That possibility remembered, Asanath discreetly passed her hands over the place where her short swords were hidden. Assured that she wouldn't be caught totally off guard, she looked back at the kind, furry player.
"Well before I run off, I feel I should ask do you know how to get out of this game." Really she felt like she had to ask anyone she met. Somebody in this game had to know something.

To be honest.. I sort of don't want to leave." Aiyai smiled, looking up at the sky. It was pretty here... And a lot more fun in this world to boot... Why would she want to go back to her real life...?

fake here. It was fun at first, but I'm too grounded out there... Some memories flooded back for a moment before Asanath shook her self out of it and smiled tiredly at her.
