I was walking downstairs of my dorm today and two girls were talking. Not to stereotype but they were pretty much dumb preppy blondes. One of them asked the other.
"What's Kawaii Con?"
"It's some sort of ani-me conjunction or something."
Are we really that hard to understand?

XD An ani-me conjunction? Man...she's gotta be pretty stupid to call a convention a conjunction. One is a large group of people. The other is a part of speech.

Are we really that hard to understand?sadly yes we are, though i can't say i exactly want everyone understanding us because then we wouldn't be unique

Japan itself is a unique place and so are we, unfortunately we are shunned for our uniqueness so it is our job to stand tall against those people who do not understand us and pretty much misunderstand who we are.

HA HA HA~! OMG HILARIOUS. Conjunction? Really? XD Well, I hate to say it, but yeah otaku seem to be difficult for non-otaku to understand. I once told a non-otaku friend that I'm going to an anime convention and she totally did not get it, or understand what it was. And I mean I showed her the website full of pictures showing what's in it and stuff, and she was still like, "What's the point?" So yeah. As someone best told me, "Otaku have to inbreed in order to survive." LOL.
