hey just need some help. im not sure whether or not i should quit band or not here are my options. A. QUIT BAND AND HAVE A LIFE, GET A JOB AND MAYBE A CAR. b. dont quit and possibly get a job, but no car.
can you help me out maybe give me some advice thanks. heart

It really depends on how important band/guard is and how much fun you have doing it. Are your close friends still in it? Do you love marching band, guard, playing your instrument, etc.? How much do you enjoy the band (and its activities, like trips and all that), the directors, and your fellow peers? How important is getting a job and a car for you? Are you going into your senior year?

It's really up to you.
What are your reasons for quitting?
Is your guard terrible, do the coaches yell at you nonstop, do you just not like it anymore?
For me, band -is- my life. Not just August to November, but all year due to jazz band.
Jobs and cars are not as important as friends.
A 'life' won't help you when you get hurt.
You can't get advice from a car.
Like I said, it's your decision; if I were you I'd stay. In my school, if you quit marching band, you're kind of awkwardly outcast from the entire group until the next season.
And if you're not dead-set on quitting, then leaving is going to be even harder.
My question to you is: If you do leave, will you regret it? Hearing on the announcements that your guard got first place, will you wish you had been there, been part of it, knowing you could have been? Is it really worth having your summer/fall back?

^ what they said, pretty much.
all of my friends quit band last year to get a job/car.
none of them ever did, and ended up regretting it a lot because their summer was boring since all of their other friends were in band..

hmmm.. well clearly this has to do with what u find more important. if u heart band, u should stay. but if u are not very good, are getting yelled at all the time by an unfair bd, or it just isnt fun anymore, u should definitely quit. its up to u...

Well I believe you can still do band, and get a job and a car.
How would being in band effect those two things?
