(I need demons, such as wolfs, cats, birds, etc. They're like humans with tails, ears, wings, or other traits of other animals while in their human form. They have lycanthropic abilities and the animal traits of the creature they become, but they can control thir transformations. If you want to be something else, go ahead, just list the creature traits like I have. Now get out there and have fun!!)

In the beginning there were the demons. Creatures of great power and prowess. anymore, they have been all but erased from history. Now there are only three races left that are known.

Difference from humans: large wings, usually 12'
transformation: preditorial birds, all types
status: all but gone (only a very limited few)

Race: Keenai
Difference from humans: Wolf tail and ears
Transformation: wolves
status: 60 left (since last counted)

Race: Dragos
Difference from humans: veined wings (like a bat's)
Transformation: small dragons (10' high at shoulder)
Status: extinct
(I will only allow 1 dragos in this rp. More than that is pushing it)

Race: Fenea
Difference from humans: Cat tail and ears
Transformation: large cats (panthers, leopards, cheetahs, etc.)
Status: Dying out (20 left)

Race: Kitsu
Difference from humans: fox ears and tail
Transformation: foxes
Status: unknown (very reclusive/hidden)

Keirra stood upon a cliff that overlooked her small village. A century had passed since the great battle, and yet the demons were still dying. Her village was so small, and it was falling apart. Three houses had collapsed in the past year, and many more were growing weaker.

The pit in her stomach swelled. The Kitsu were dying out, and soon they would end up like the Dragos. She shook her head, "No, it can't happen, it shouldn't..." Thinking aloud, she made her way down the thin pass that wound down the side of the cliff.

As she walked into town, she was greeted by so many people, all of them smiling, despite the poor condition of their surroundings. As a small fishing community, they were abundant in food, but the rest...

when she finally came to her house, Some one hugged her from behind. When she turned around, she saw her little sister, Kanna looking up at her. "Did you catch anything?" she asked, peering around Keirra's legs.

"No." Keirra replied glumly. The door opened behind her and her mother stepped out. "Sekeirra, I didn't expect you home so soon. What happened?"

Keirra shrugged, "The deer are becoming more and more sly. I ran out of arrows." She said, chuckling. "I came back to fetch some more." Her mother nodded and moved back inside the small house. Keirra followed her in, pursued by her little sister.

When keirra moved to the living/sleeping area, she immediately moved to the fletch of arrows that leaned against the wall. Kanna ran up to her and looked up hopefully, "Did you get me anything?"

Keirra chuckled and shook her head, "Yeah, I found another rock." She slipped her hand in her pocket and pulled out a clear crystal. It was only quartz, but by the look in Kanna's face, you could swear it was pure diamond.

"I have to go now squirt, the herd I'm after is currently nesting, but I don't know for how much longer." She ruffled Kanna's hair and started to head out the door. She took a quick detour though, stopping in the kitchen to say goodbye to her mother. "Tell Father I said hi." And with that, she headed back out the door. In no time she was back at the base of the cliff, ready for the hunt.

By the time she made it up the cliff, the sun had started to sink. It shone in her eyes, making it hard to see. Keirra quickly made her way to the forest on her left, and from there started to track the deer she had left.

The forest upon the cliff side was always so calming. The leaves whispered as they swayed to and fro, and the birds sang joyously as they flitted between the trees, perching here and then fluttering off to the next branch. The gentle green of the leaves always calmed her, even in the worst of moods.

And so Keirra traveled, tracking the hoof prints in the underbrush.

Miziera sat in a tree bored out her mind. Her parents had been yelling at her for more than two hours about how she could never find anything to eat. She needed to get away from them for a while. 'It's not my fault.', she thought. 'My kind is only able to drink cow blood; but I can't find a cow.' She looked down and saw Kitsu. 'She must be hunting.',she thought. 'Maybe if I follow her I might find something that I can eat.' She flew close enough to the Kitsu to keep track of her but far enough away that the Kitsu wouldn't notice her.

Miziera landed on the ground a few feet away from the Kitsu, and hid behind a tree. She peered around the tree and saw a Tatame coming towards them. 'Oh no.', she thought. 'He'll blow me cover.'

Miziera watched the Tatame. He seemed to be looking back and forth at Miziera and the Kitsu. 'What does he want?',she asked herself. Miziera flew behind the Tatame. "Don't just stand there and stare at us. What do you want?", she asked him.

"That doesn't answer my question.", Miziera said to him as she put her hands on her hips.

Miziera sighed and though she hated to admit it she did need help. "Well, I do need help finding a cow for my family. I was following her to see if she would lead me to.", she said as she pointed to the Kitsu. "My family will be mad if I don't find one. Well, they're already mad at me."

Rin stopped after a few moments and crouched down to examine the hoof prints once again. They were getting harder to read the further on she went, but she was able to keep the trail decently enough. Climbing a nearby tree, she looked out across the forest floor, trying to spot the herd. Taking a good look in all directions, she saw a flash of movement, small, but there. Lifting her bow, she took aim, thinking it may be a stray buck or doe. Pulling back the drawstring, she realized it was only another demon, she lowered her weapon and set it back over her shoulders.
