FM started with the
{ "SUPER DUPER AWESOME MINSU SMOOTHIE" ;; the smoothie that started it all. Made of peach and strawberries, and not for sale. Minsuil's name is slowly being decapitated. }

and Shao was in on it too, so she sent me a PM with a slew of minishop ideas built up over the years. After a lot of digging through my inbox I realize I've deleted the original PM DDD8 but the idea I picked was one of a cafe for travelers, that would act as a rest stop and provide nourishment.

I played a lot of this text-based RPG game as a druid (nature class- skillsets: Groves, Concoctions, Metamorphosis) in middle school, so I've always been obsessed with nature-themes and it spilled into the minishop planning.
Minsui came up with Letis's name but her character was based off of Lisia, a traveling florist in the game.
Mellitu's character was mostly Minsui's creation, but I took her name and the name of the forest from a plant- it's how I find most of my names << >> << >> ignore the fact that the common name is b*****d balm;;;;;

So I rushed to open the shop as soon as possible, because I have no patience that way, and Minsui did not approve. .__. And she wrote the

Along with the revamp (completed april 10th at 1:08 AM ) came world-building and the AREM backstory-- and we began to move away from a restaurant/trinket store and more towards a training facility for heroes and a place for them to return for nourishment...? Or at least that's what I read out of what she's written. o vo I think it'd be really cool to create a B/C out of this (that's where we were headed when she wrote the backstory back around february? march?) , but we both have kind of bad work ethics and I'm not sure if it will ever happen. * v*;; We've been planning it for the summer, but I'm going to take a 5-week course at the state college and then I'm going to China, and Minsui is going to Taiwan, so... * v*;;
If we do, though, our regulars will be offered the chance to beta-test and we'll probably hire one or two RP managers to help us write the system and moderate. Maybe there'd be a battle system, most likely there will be questing and exploring RP, and there

In the google doc we stash item ideas in, I've had a list of flower/bouquet descriptions for ages but never got around to actually drawing them. That's probably something that will be coming soon, once I get a lot of time on my hands and a mood for drawing flowers...
and I'm also tentatively planning fruit trees? With fruits based off books, pieces of music, operas, mythology (basically me studying for academic bowl ahahaha) and then dishes made out of those fruits. But again, that's something that I might or might not get the time to do... /facepalm

AND THEN ONE DAY MINSUIL WOKE UP AND WAS LIKE "B/C, YEAH!" and then Solil was like "YES. wait no. WAIT YESSS! and thus the epic overhaul of FM to contain a fantasy element. We're moving to develop a adv. lit RP B/C based on the world of Arem and so on. It's sure to be amazing and complicated since MINSUI is in charge of story and plot and bounces ideas off of Solil who likes to shoot them down like a little boy w/ his first sling shot likes to shoot down birds This time we'll find reliable people since for god's sake we know how /good/ Minsui is at meeting deadlines : |
