I'll be posting up some criteria to the different races and what they will generally look like. Whether they have wings, tails, horns, glowing auras, etc.

Also included in these posts is a new system that we will be trying out. Add special powers to these rarer beings that will not count against the powers number rule. Kind of like having a free race power. Anyway, there are lots of new things to come in this thread. So stay tuned. I'll also be adding more races later as we expand our community.

Difference Between the Stages:
Toddler- Looks exactly like a human child. No wings yet. (Can have horns, odd colors, pointed ears, etc.)
Child- Now has wings if applicable, small ones. Oddities are more defined now.
Teen- Larger wings if applicable, Oddities are almost fully grown in.
Adult- Large wings if applicable, Oddities are at their fullest grown.

+ANGELIC METAS+


-Angels-
General Race Attributes: They are the same as humans other than the angelic wings.
General Race Requirements: Single pair of wings, typically light in color, but some have darker wings. Very unusual for them to have near black wings. Skintones vary, usually normal human skintones, some have oddly colored skin but its rare.

Rarity Level: Common

..........Special Race Powers//
Summon Holy Artifact: Summons one holy artifact that boosts the power level of powers by 1 level. Lasts for one usage of a power. (1 artifact)



-Archangels-
General Race Attributes: They are the same as humans other than the angelic wings.
General Race Requirements: Double or triple pair of wings. Typically light colored, however they can have darker colored wings. Near black wings are rare.

..........Special Race Powers//
Summon Holy Artifact: Summons a special holy artifact that increases power level by 1, lasts for 1 usage of power no matter the age of the Archangel. (2 artifacts)




-Muses-
General Race Attributes: They are the same as humans other than oddly light hair colors.
General Race Requirements: No wings, Pale hair colors, and tend to be based on one or two colors at the most. Usually garnished with jems, jewels, ribbons, and strange markings or tattoos. They all have at least one jem on their forehead or chest. Skintones vary and do not have to be normal human skintones.

Rarity Level: Females- Common, Males - Uncommon

Levitation: Can float. (Fly without wings.)
Siren's Song: Can lure people with their voice to do what they want.




-Fallen-
General Race Attributes: They are the same as humans other than the angelic wings.
General Race Requirements: Single pair of wings, typically near black. They can have light colored wings however that is very rare in a Fallen.

..........Special Race Powers//
Wonderland Syndrome: Can change center of gravity and walk on any surface.
Summon Dark Artifact: Summons a special dark artifact that boosts the power level of other powers by 1, lasts for one usage of a power. (1 artifact)
Blood Favor: Can consume blood to heal themselves.


-Vampires-
General Race Attributes: They are deathly pale, usually oddly colored eyes. They often lack wings, or some of them have bat like wings instead of feathered wings.
General Race Requirements: Pale skin, oddly colored eyes.

Rarity Level: Uber Rare (must receive permission from Staff to order a custom Vampire, only given out during special events otherwise.)

..........Special Race Powers//
Blood Favor: Can consume blood to heal themselves.
Night Vision: Can see better at night than during the day.

All Vampire Metas get the above two powers, each owner may choose ONE power from the list below as a third.

Speed: Allows the Meta to move faster than the average Meta. As the toddler, the boost is 1x, child it's 1.5x, teen is 2x, adult is 2.5x, and elder is 3x faster than the average Meta.
Super Strength: Gives the Meta the strength of a Feral.
Natural Charisma: other Metas find it hard to resist obeying the commands of the Vampire Meta. Also makes them more attractive.
Shapeshifting: Allows the Meta to shapeshift into a Bat, or a small wolf.
Telekinesis: Allows the Meta to move objects with their mind. It grows in strength as the Meta ages, so start small.
Telepathy: Allows the Meta to communicate via thought. Elders can Mind Control willing targets.


..........Special Race Weaknesses//
Daylight: Whether it's direct contact or not, Vampiric metas have a hard time being out in the sun. They don't die, they just get migraines and can't function very well. Their powers are also weakened in daylight.

+DEMONIC METAS+


-Demons-
General Race Attributes: They are the same as humans other than the demonic wings. Many have slightly pointed ears.
General Race Requirements: Single pair of leathery wings. They are typically dark in color, but color variations are possible. Skintones vary, but oddly colored tones are rarer than normal human skintones.

-Succubus/Incubus-
General Race Attributes: They are the same as humans other than the demonic wings and horns.
General Race Requirements: Single pair of leathery wings. Typically dark in color, but they can have color variations. Many have horns, varying in size and shape. It's rare for them to have tails.

Dreamweave: Can enter the dreams of others.




-Feral-
General Race Attributes: They look almost like beasts. Definitely is not human in appearance. Sometimes having a little bit of fur or inverted eye colors. They do not always have wings. Best relation for a Feral meta, Saiyans from Dragon Ball. They're fuzzy/furry [not all the time] and have super buff forms!
General Race Requirements: Majority have inverted eye colors or glowing eyes, and all have pointed ears and some sort of tribal markings.

Rarity Level: Males- Common, Females- Uncommon

..........Special Race Powers//
Secondary Form: Feral or Superior Form that allows an extra power to only be used in that form.
Mind's Eye: Can see invisibles. (Those that are invisible)




-Still Life-
General Race Attributes:They are the same as humans other than the pale skin sometimes marked with scars, stiches, cracks or multi-toned skin. They do not have wings. (They also do not have an actual hearbeat either.)
General Race Requirements: Pale Skin, markings in the skin made by above mention methods. On the rare occassion, they will not have markings. Some rare Still Lifes will have inverted colors... dark skin, pale markings.

Rarity Level: Common

..........Special Race Powers//
Tough Skin: High tolerance to pain or feels no physical pain at all.
Unbroken Favor: Can still sustain self if body isn't attacked. (Can fix self by putting the original parts together or replacing the parts, but only within a few hours time. Can not live for more than a day without more than half the body.)


-Lycanthropes-
General Race Attributes: They are larger than the average Meta, and don't appear to be human at all. Many of them have animalistic attributes, e.g., animal ears or tails, bird lycanthropes may have wings.
General Race Requirements: No wings, unless they are a winged lycanthrope. Some of them can have furry patches. If applicable, animal ears or a tail. Inverted/glowing eyes are also a tell tale sign of a Lycanthrope.

Rarity Level: Uber Rare (must receive special permission to order a custom Lycanthrope, otherwise they are only given out as special events.)

..........Special Race Powers//
Call of the Wild: Lycanthropes can speak with animals.
Were form: Lycanthropes make a full transformation into an animal form at the full moon. As they grow older, their control of this form is increased, and they can even transform whenever they please.
Superior strength: Lycanthropes are naturally stronger than average Metas.


..........Special Race Weaknesses//
Full Moon: The full moon forces Lycanthropes into their were form, this weakness is lessened as they grow older, but the call to obey the moon is still very tempting.

+FAE METAS+


-Faeries-
General Race Attributes: They are the same as humans other than fairy wings and odd skin colors.
Requirements: Pastel colored skin, long irridescent wings. (Like butterfly wings) Short to Medium length pointed ears. Some faeries may have normal human skintones.

Rarity Level: Common

..........Special Race Powers//
Dreamweave: Can enter the dreams of others.





-Elves-
General Race Attributes: They are the same as humans other than pointed ears. Elves include all variations, Wood Elves, Drow/Dark Elves, regular run-of-the-mill Elves... any Elf you can come up with.
General Race Requirements: Medium to long length pointed ears. No wings.

Rarity Level: Common

..........Special Race Powers//
Magical Preference: Has an extra power to start with, and two extra at teen stage.
Forestmeld: Insible in forests/trees/plants.





-Pixies-
General Race Attributes: They are the same as humans other than fairy wings and odd skin, hair, and eye colors.
General Race Requirements: Pastel colored skin, eyes, and hair. Long irridescent wings. (Like dragonfly wings) Short to Medium length pointed ears. Some Pixies have normal human skintones, but that's unusual. Most are fairly short.

..........Special Race Powers//
Translucent Form: Can turn opaque or even invisible.
Phasing: Can walk through walls and objects.


-Nymphs-
General Race Attributes: Obviously not quite human. Oddly colored skin and hair. Sometimes even have bits of their element on them. (Fire hair for fire nymphs, fins for water nymphs, etc...)
General Race Requirements: Mostly human looking, but with elemental attributes. Any size ears. Oddly colored hair and eyes. Its unusual for them to have wings, but some can.

Rarity Level: Common

..........Special Race Powers//
Nature Form: Ability to turn into a tree/plant/etc.
Elemental: Allows the Nymph to take on the form of their element, i.e., a fire nymph becomes engulfed in flames.... a water nymph gains fins and gills to breathe underwater...
Natural Cure: Nymphs can heal themselves when in contact with their element.


-Sluagh-
General Race Attributes: Dark, spindly creatures. They are not human at all. Their limbs seem elongated, and they are unusually flexible.
General Race Requirements: Monochromatic, for the most part. Elongated limbs, perhaps even claws for fingers. No wings. Some rare Sluaghs are pale, or highly colorful.

Rarity Level: Uber Rare (must receive special permission to order a custom Sluagh, otherwise they are given out as special events.)

..........Special Race Powers//
Levitate: Allows the Sluagh to fly without wings.
Temptation: Tempts the target to do as the slaugh says.
Shadowmeld: Can become one with the shadows in the area and move amongst them to different locations.

..........Special Race Weaknesses//
Barriers: a Sluagh cannot go where they are not invited, doing so causes them to lose all control over their abilities for several hours. No matter how old the slaugh is, this always happens as a consequence.

+GHOST METAS+



-Ghost-
Rarity: Common
General Race Attributes: Muted colors, grays and whites are a big part of a ghostly appearance. Occasionally they may have shockingly bright eyes.
Race requirements: Pale, muted colors. They do not have wings, on a rare occasion some may have markings. Some rare ghosts may appear to be perfectly alive in appearance.

..........Special Race Powers//
You may choose between the following two powers, but you cannot have both:

Phasing: Ghost Metas are able to allow objects, people, and other things to pass through them. Younger ones have a hard time controlling this ability. The power never lasts more than 2 minutes, no matter how old the Ghost is.
Levitate: Grants the Meta the ability to fly without wings.

-Shadow-
Rarity: Common
General Race Attributes: Dark colors, black is a big part of their appearance. They can range from pale skin to dark skin, but their eyes are always near black.
Race requirements: Black or near black eyes, dark hair, almost menacing appearance. Shadows are ghosts that appear to be an even darker patch of black in a room with no lights.

..........Special Race Powers//
You may choose between Phasing and Levitate but you cannot have both.

Phasing: Shadow Metas are able to allow objects, people, and other things to pass through them. Younger Metas have trouble controlling this power, though it never lasts more than 2 minutes now matter how old the Shadow is.
Levitate: Allows the Meta to fly without wings.
Intimidate: Shadows have a natural intimidating aura about them. Other Metas are far less likely to pick a fight with them. This power is an effect, and does not get stronger or weaker with age.

-Poltergeists-
Rarity: Common
General Race Attributes: It really depends on the item. These ghosts are thought to be the psychic energy of children or teens, and so they can take on many shapes or forms. They can look as average as a regular Ghost, or as dark as a Shadow. But they're never quite as solid in appearance as other Metas like angels or demons.
Race requirements: They are based heavily off of the items they are bound to. They never really look as "alive" as other species of Meta, though.

..........Special Race Powers//
You may choose between Phasing and Levitate but you cannot have both.

Phasing: Poltergeist Metas are able to allow objects, people and other things pass through them. Younger Metas have issues controlling this power, but it never lasts for more than 2 minutes no matter how old the Poltergeist gets.
Levitate: Allows the Meta to fly without wings.
Possession: Poltergeists can take control of other Metas that are weak, or willing participants. They cannot maintain control for more than 3 minutes, no matter how old the Poltergeist is. [NOTE: If we see anyone abusing this power, you will be reprimanded. This is not an excuse to power play or god mode.]

-Banshees-
Rarity: Females- Uncommon, Males - Uber Rare (must receive special permission to order a custom male Banshee, otherwise they are given out as special events)
General Race Attributes: Pale skin, pale - almost white - eyes, untamed or frizzy hair. Banshees are usually seen as white ghosts.
Race requirements: Pale in appearance, with splashes of bright colors like red or orange.

..........Special Race Powers//
You may choose between Phasing and Levitate but you cannot have them both.

Phasing: Banshee Metas are able to let objects, people or other things pass through them. Younger Metas have issues controlling this power, but it never lasts for more than 2 minutes no matter how old the Banshee is.
Levitate: Allows the Meta to fly without wings.
Shriek: Banshees are known for their terrible screams. Banshees are capable of disorienting, and possibly even bursting the eardrums of their targets with their screams.
Menacing Presence: Banshees are not exactly known for their sanity. Being near one can cause paranoia, uncertainty, and even fear. This power is not in effect at all times, and does not get stronger or weaker with age. [NOTE: You cannot make another person's Meta feel this way, it's up to them to pick up on it. Some Metas just don't react to mind games.]

+NON-META CREATURES+



-Malices-
General Race Requirements: A Malice is an extra soul that resides in the body of a Meta. The Malice's ultimate goal is to take over the body, and will often hurt it's host in the process. They like seeing destruction and despair, and can pretend to be nice to win people over and then rip the rug right out from under their feet, so to speak. They are exactly as their name hints, malicious.
Rarity Level: See Artist for information on whether they accept Malice's in their Metas. (You could always submit a custom request to another artist to draw your Malice when it gets free from it's host)


-Manes-
General Race Requirements: A Mane is an extra soul that lives inside of a Meta. Manes do not want to harm their hosts, instead, they often protect them from harm. This can mean that they will hurt or even try to kill other Metas, but they protect their hosts.
Rarity Level: See Artist for information on whether they accept Mane's in their Metas. (You could always submit a custom request to another artist to draw your Mane when it gets free from it's host)
