Base Defense RP:

The base is our life without our base we are weaker. Base defense is a important role, the most important as with out this all other roles within the Brotherhood of Steel are obsolete.

Duties:
Gates are manned, as are towers and the adjoining walkways, Patrols outside the gates and walls are conducted, walls are checked for damages and repaired if found, Stationary guns are checked for faults, guns are armed, and ammo lockers are full.

Rules
Basically the same as almost every RP

1: No godmodding
2: Use IC (in character) and OOC (out of character)
3: Please, no Conversations, thats what the Main thread is for, if you need to talk, keep it short, and in OOC, any threads containing NO RP'ing will be deleted.

NOTES
The gates are currently Protected by a force field, Strength and Power drain are yet to be tested
((More Coming Soon eg information about the base))

IC: Bradly stands out side the main gate. His Ak-47 with a full clip. He is so tired but stands there until some one else will take his job for a bit. "I wish some action will happen soon. IM BORED!"

OOC: Allectus, if you want I could make a map of the base. But first if you do want me to, I would need a complete detailed description of where things are in the base and stuff like that (I trust you would know that, as you are a paladin) 3nodding

JT walked around the perimiter, admiring the setting. He made sure to check the guns for faults apon occasion when he wandered around here. It was any member's duty, as long as they were able, to maintain the perimiter for some amount of time.

He mounted one of the guns, and relaxed in the cushioned seat, looking over the walls at the still tranquility of the Wastelands. The name was decieving, in a way. To soldiers, it was a beautiful day.

After watching the Wastelands for several minutes, he left for the day.

I think I might start using the code function for my RP.... xd
Shani set it up, the last line of defense to protect his Gundam stuffs, a special mine linked to the retina scanner on his doorway. If anyone with an unauthorized retina used the scanner, the mine within the door would explode, sending shards of steel into the perp. "Now I can sleep safely, knowing that my Gundam stuffs are safe and sound", said Shani as he armed the Gundam stuffs defense system, making sure there were no access ports or input pads, or any other way to hack into the retina scanner. "Heh, if they try prying they door off it's hinges the mine will go off as well. Same thing happens if they try to open up the retina scanner to disable. I even made sure the other side of the door is thick enough to withstand the blast, so none of the shards hit my Gundam stuffs", he said as he went back to doing whatever it was he was before.

IC: Bradly see's some thing dart from 1 bush to another. He stands there not thinking that he saw anything and that he was just imagining it. He see's it again. He walks over to it and see's it was just a squirl. While he's out there he grabs some large logs, some vines, some little bushes, and he gets a tarp from the base. He lays it all down to the left of the main door. He gets 1 large log and lays it down on the ground about 10 feet infront of another log that he puts in the back of it. He sets to other logs standing straight up beside the front log. He then ties those 3 logs together. He gets another log and puts it on top and lays it down. He ties it together with the vines. He then gets the last 2 logs, sets them were they are diagnal, he then ties them to the back and front logs. IT STANDS!! He then gets the tarp thats camo and puts it over the top. There's a pretty big opening in the front of the structure so he can see out it. He then puts buches around it to look a little more camo'y. He makes a little cot in it and sets a chair in it. He lays in the cot and looks at the front. He stands up "I forgot the last thing" He says. He sticks a stick into the ground infront of it and gets a piece of cardboard and writes "Bradly's place. NO TOUCHY!!". He then lays back in the cot and rests.

:: Kiron walks up the stair case to his post on the towers. He checks the Gun Implacement to make sure that all the ammo was still in it and that it didn't need any oil for the rotary mechanism. It was all fine so Kiron pulled out his chair and sat in it ::

It's a nice day out for a change.

:: He looks out into the wastelands and sees a pack of brahmins wandering out over the dunes of sand ::

It's amazing how such peaceful creatures can live out in the open in a world of chaos. At least we're doing our part by trying to help everyone.

~Drives around the base in an APC, pulling out collapsable parts from the back, and goes about constructing shield pylons. Each one in a strategic area, so when activated, would extend a dome that would converge with the other domes and protect the base from attack. Also goes about connecting the power supply to portable generators, with no centralized power supply, they wouldn't all go down at once, thereby harder to penetrate the defences.~
