so...

do you guys remember back when I told you that I joined a fraternity of saxophonists?

well, lately there have been some major conflicts between the saxophonists in the band that pledged this fraternity and those who haven't...

there was supposed to be more people joining this semester and going through the whole pledge process, but apparently the people in charge of handling this process were planning some pretty mean stuff (and never told me about any of it). These people that were going to join are my friends that have been through hell and back with me since we first came into the marching band on August 1st. Someone told them all of the sneaky and underhanded things they were planning for them and they quit pledging. They came and told me all of the bs that had happened. I was not amused...


Now, we have decided that there shall be another saxophone fraternity. One that doesn't resort to harsh and senseless tactics and underhanded schemes. As of yesterday, this fraternity is now official. There are now 2 saxophone frats in our band now. The JBs and SMI. Oddly enough, I find myself a member of both.



This is going to get really awkward when all the alumni come back for homecoming next fall, considering that this is the 40th anniversary of The JBs

As it stands, SMI has already said that there is no bad blood or lost love between the 2 frats. The thing is alumni don't always see things that way and as soon as they hear that there is another frat, they are gonna flip.

I'm inevitably stuck in the middle either way. I became a JB in the fall, along with 4 other friends. There is no un-joining this.

as it stands now, I am among 5 JBs that have decided to join up with SMI.

The problem isn't really with the JBs as a whole, rather it is with certain people that just came into power as president and vice president of the organization and aren't handling things the way they should.

my friends are cool with me being in both frats because almost all of them were gonna try to go JB this semester and I promised them that I was gonna look out for them. But all this bs happened...

Alumni don't always listen to reason (because they are stuck in the 80s rolleyes ) but some of them are on the side of SMI

I already know where my loyalties belong when it comes down to choosing between the 2

I love the JBs, but SMI is my family.
We were down since day 1.


and don't worry, no one is gonna try to smash me...


well, they could try...

but it is very unlikely that they would succeed xd

Its starting to seem like every day that passes, there's more drama

now 2 of my LBs are trippin...hard

1 of them actually had the nerve to come up to me and say that there are only 3 C.R.I.E.S from the panic room now (our line was named 5 C.R.I.E.S From The Panic Room...yeah, I know we have way too many acronyms). After all that we have been through

and just yesterday, I found out from someone who actually witnessed our crossing process that these three he was talking about didn't even earn all of their stripes themselves like we were supposed to.


all I have to say is he needs to get the sand out of his v****a and man up...

these are band frats, meaning we have women in with us too.
in fact, the '08 JB line had 10 people, but only 3 guys.

kinda ironic cuz JB = Jazzy Bros. xd

*sigh* i dont even know what to say, i guess chaos is making its act of prescence.. after all, it likes to mess up things.
i just hope everything clears soon and the mess ends right.. confused
