When this guild first started this topic was brought up and I would like to expand on it.
I have a book discussing the myths and legends and such and I will post information as I gather it even though it is pretty much all just hypothesis. Have you ever been interested in the history and myth of Atlantis? But what are your feelings on Atlantis? Do you believe it existed? Do you feel that the crystals of Atlantis do hold a large amount of power?
If you don't believe that Atlantis existed then what do you make of Plato's remark on it? "In a single day and night of misfortune, Atlantis sank into the depths of the sea".

"Atlantis means "Island of Atlas", the first known reference to Atlantis was by Plato around 400BC. He claimed that Atlantis had sank into the ocean "in a single day and night of misfortune" around 9000 years previous (around 9400BC). Generally, Atlantis is seen as a myth created by Plato to illustrate some of his political theories.
Many believe that he based his Atlantis myth on a collection of other stories such as those of the Trojan War or the eruption of Thera which partially destroyed Santorini and most likely decimated Crete and the minoan civilisation around 1600BC.
As far as many can see, every other account of Atlantis relies on Plato's account in way or another. In 1882 Ignatius L. Donnelly published "Atlantis: the Antediluvian World". This, again based on Plato's account tried to prove the existence of Atlantis and further more, that all know civilisation had descended from Atlantis. This lead to a revival of the legend in the late 19th century which was combined with stories of other lost continents such as Mu and Lemuria. This account also introduced the modern view of Atlantis sitting as a large island in the Atlantic ocean off the African coast."

I've meditated on past lives and have traced myself back to then. World's oldest civilization, and under mysterious circumstances, disappeared for no reason we could fathom.
The people with whom I've talked were those who were aware of the happening, but I showed up after the Isle had gone under and was just wondering how I could be late.
Atlanteans were known for their superior psychic prowess, and the culture moved down generationally, to the point where almost everyone is a descendant, but some more powerful than others. They can be identified with the third eye having a blue gem covering it.

I did hear mention of the blue gem over the third eye, I just don't remember where. If you know a little bit about past lives I have a few questions I'd like to ask you.

I halfway take the myth serious. It could be true. I haven't seen anything that would make me believe it to be true. However, I've heard weirder things and found them to be true. So, show me some truth and I'll believe you. Until then, I shall remain a polite semi skeptic. It is certainly an interesting myth in some aspects though.

When I was younger the myths and the crystals always fascinated me. I always wanted to believe they are true because it is such an interesting mystery but so far there is so little evidence. I have a whole book about what the author believes the place was like and it paints an interesting picture. She said that the island was located between Europe and the Americas.

shadowflameguardian I did hear mention of the blue gem over the third eye, I just don't remember where. If you know a little bit about past lives I have a few questions I'd like to ask you. If you feel comfortable it's true to topic, go ahead and ask. Otherwise, I'd be willing to take this to pm.
