The Riverrun sewer system has been blocked up many a time, as in to stop people from entering easily, but it seems that this area is still accessible to those who know how. the system consists of various smaller passages and large tunnels, it is almost a never seen thing for someone to see another traveller within these passage ways, although it has been said that their have been unusually large movements within the deeper sections of this sewer system.
There are many words floating around the city about certain area's giving off a horrible stench, and others say that these smells, if followed will lead to a tunnel into the sewers, but these tunnels aren't made by those who constructed the system. If these new tunnels were ever recorded one could have a way into any part of the city, not to mention unusual escape routes.
