Requirements: Follow all the steps.
1. There was a video inspiration in the other contest thread and I thought I would have one here too because it was requested. This time it comes with more variety! Find any music video on YouTube and create an avatar inspired by it. I will not be using the point system on this contest but you should take in consideration all the items on it still. I won't be grading your interpretation but how you executed your interpretation. You can take inspiration from any part of the video; the music, the lyrics, the colors, the characters. The only thing I require is that you fully explain everything in the description. Also please link the video in your description as well.
Make sure the "Show Background" button is unchecked.
You don't have to save it though.
2. Right click your avatar in the customize me screen and click "save image as..."
Save it to your computer (keep the file type as .png)
3. Log into Fashun's Photobucket
Name: FashunAvatarContest Pass: password
4. Find the saved picture and upload your avatar image.
Make sure your in the right album, it will be labeled with the date and the contest name.
5. Title your picture with your username, add a description explaining why you created that avatar, a story, or details you want to bring to my attention.
If your confused by any of these steps, don't hesitate to PM me or post your question in here.
If your using Linux or Mac OS I can tell you how to do it in those operating systems if you need.
Limits: Use your inventory! One entry per person.

Random Stuff: You do not have to post your avatar to the thread, but it's not a bad idea just in case something happens to the Photobucket account.
Admins can join if they wish.
You can make edits to your submissions, just delete your old one and upload the new on to Photobucket.

Unlike the other contest, I will be the judge.
There will also be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner.
After the contest is over, I will comment on your photobucket picture with the critique and the point breakdown.
These are things I think are most important in avatars.
Not everyone will feel the same way, but I'm the judge, so ne ner ne ner
This is the system I will be grading you guys on Quote: Total Creativity Points: 30/30 -layering: 5/5 (Unique combos)
-contest theme execution: 5/5 (Followed directions)
-description: 5/5 (Write anything and you will get these points)
-personality: 5/5 (If your write in your description or if the theme requires emotion, portray it in your avatar also your own personality, use the items you love!)
-originality: 10/10 (Don't use item combo's I've seen a million times)Total Color Points: 50/50 -matching: 25/25
-balance: 20/20
-color scheme: 5/5 (Don't use a color scheme I've seen a million times)Total Aesthetic Points: 20/20 -balance(as a whole): 5/5 (No top heavies!)
-flow: 5/5 (such as random objects that look weird, major texture differences)
-complexity: 10/10 Total points: 101/100 +1 bonus point if you critique and/or use the point system on the example
(if you comment, include your name so I know who to give the point to)
An avatar you've already created with a few other items thrown on to be part of the theme.
Not putting your user name in the title of your photobucket upload.
Tampering with the Photobucket account.

I figured I would have this contest open during the voting of the other one.
The themes of this contest aren't going to be as hard as the tektek contest
because not everyone has a massive inventory like I do XD

Wait, so how do we edit out the background? Just ms paint?
Oh and there's a typo on one of the posts (I think it was the second). It says tektek instead of avatar wink

The reason I opened this contest is for people like day
who can make better avatars with their inventory than tektek
because you get to play around with cool layering that you /know/ works
not saying you can't make a good tektek, day
just saying
yaknow?

I really concerns me because gaia is coming out with a lot more transparent items or items that have multiple parts that layer in different ways. Like those awful teal legwarmers
I hope tektek can... adjust to those changes

TekTek will adjust when Gaia creates free layering neutral
I wouldn't really expect it to be accurate before then.
TekTek doesn't even do some of the skins right. Have you tried to tektek with the zombie skin? The base eyes layer over top of it D:
