Zoom zoom zoom! It was just an everyday thing for a particular 17 year old girl to run along through the park's pathways. She did have her motorcycle license, but that gave her no excuse to stop walking running places that were relatively close by.

She had been at Hank's place of work, gleeing over her license and making promises to Hank and Phil to stop by with her bike so they could truly appreciate her handiwork.

Now she was heading home. There wasn't anything too fantastic or different about this fact. She was familiar with how popular the park could be, so she didn't mind that there were people sprinkled about the pathway. If they were in her way, she just went right around them. At least a couple times, when she sideswiped someone, they commented about how she should look where she was going. However, she didn't really care. She hadn't collided with them (which she was infamous for doing), so they had no right to complain.

However, Ellie was soon enough drawn in like a magnet to a curly little ball of adorable that happened to be sniffing a tree. She might not have seemed the sort who would stop and fuss over a puppy, but only those who knew Ellie Spectre well enough knew she really had a soft spot for dogs.

"What'cha doin' there?" she asked the dog, not even making note of the owner initially. The girl easily dipped down onto her knees, getting a bit of mud on her already ripped pants. There was no hesitation to reach out and easily start petting the smaller dog, rattling its ears around.

"Oh, so ya like t'kiss, eh puppy dog?" Ellie's face was already dipping down to give the dog a few kisses on the snout, certain she'd be receiving some puppy kisses on her face too.

However, the gesture itself had to pause when a familiar voice chimed in. Spinning her head around, she spotted the guilty party.

"Oh, Amary, this is yer dog?" That infamous Ellie grin was on her face. "Ya never mentioned it was a puppy. It got a name? Or am I gonna be stuck callin' it 'puppy' th'whole time?" While she waited for an answer, her fingers continued to pet and otherwise pay attention to the curly haired puppy.

"...Belle... like th' Disney princess?"

Yes, Ellie Spectre knew of some of the "classic" Disney Princesses. Her mom had tried forcing her to watch the movies when she was younger, but the tomboy, even back then, wasn't very interested. Teenage Mutant Ninja Tortoises and Ratman ALL THE WAY. Action was worth so much more than "pretty" Disney animation.

She shrugged, not saying anything more on the name. Ellie thought it was a dumb name, but then again, the cat she had recently been dealing with was named *********, and that was pretty stupid too. Her eyes easily went back to the baby dog, taking in the friendly expression on the puppy's face.

"Am I allowed t'pick 'er up, or ya gonna tell me I shouldn't be doin' that?" It was either pick the dog up, or get down on the dog's level. Ellie was willing to do either one. Regardless of the answer, the hand which had been getting the most slobbery affection began to scratch the puppy behind the ears.

With a grin, the girl announced "Spamtastic!" Puppies were easy to handle, and without much effort, the dog was soon enough in her arms, flipped over in an almost baby-like fashion. Ellie definitely wasn't the motherly sort. Nothing about her seemed motherly, considering how she dressed and carried herself about. It seemed as if there wasn't a single gentle thing about this girl.

Until paired up with a dog.

The puppy was held in her arms so her belly was up in the air, paws tucked against her body slightly. "I bet ya love attention, don'cha Belle?" she said in a voice a bit sillier than she usually allowed herself. The blonde dipped her head down and kissed the dog on the nose, making her face an easy target for any puppy kisses that the Goldendoodle might have wanted to slather on Ellie's face. Some people might have yanked their faces away, but not Ellie. She let the dog do as it wanted, laughing and talking to the dog without a care in the world.

"I bet yer gonna grow up into a big girl an' be able t'gimme a challenge with tug'a'war." With a nearly wild laugh, the tomboy spun around, then finally gave Damon a bit of attention.

"So... ya ain't doin' errands t'day... at least it seems that way."

Walking a dog wasn't an errand apparently.

"What'cha doin' after this?"

With a grin, the girl leaned in, then did something a bit different. Rather than let her face be licked, she instead went for the dog's stomach and blew a raspberry against Belle's belly. From her experience, most dogs freaked out when she did this, but the nicer ones usually just wiggled and squirmed, while meaner dogs would n**. So far, Belle seemed like a nicer dog.

"Homework... hmmm... when's it due?" Sure, homework was boring, but Ellie was not the sort to preach that you ignore the homework. In fact, she was quite the opposite case. She was always the one who did her homework first so she could have time to do other things. Even the summer homework and mandatory readings were usually done before Ellie got to July during summer break. "Procrastination" was not a word in this tomboy's dictionary.

"Oh, and is there a particular game yer lookin' t'watch? Cause, if yer not really doin' anythin' in particular, we can go get some food or somethin'?" Some girls could have easily made this sound like a date. Ellie wasn't like those girls. When she asked if you wanted to get something to eat, she meant strictly that. Just food and talk, because that was something you did with friends or pseudo friends. While waiting for an answer, she gave the puppy dog another onslaught of attention, kissing the dog's face before adding in another tummy raspberry.

With an exaggerated wave of the arm, as if dismissing Damon's words, she groaned out "Aawwww... yer no fun!!" Of course, it wasn't a serious complaint, for there was that pesky smile still perched on the blonde's face. Giving the puppy one more big kiss on the snout, the girl then knelt down and let the squirmy Goldendoodle free.

She stood up, then patted the boy squarely on the shoulders. "Alright, my good man! Now we gotta figger out what sorta food we can all agree on! I'm sure Belle is up fer anythin'... but I forget. How are ya with Mexican food?"

Of course Ellie Spectre was going to suggest Mexican food. When the hell did she not suggest Mexican food?

The girl jogged forward the moment he agreed with her decision, but then spun around, swiveling to face him again and glancing at the dog.

"So... how fast is Belle? I remember yer a runner, right?" She was grinning. Ellie had asked about running and was grinning.

"...cause... I ain't gonna slow down... maybe ya should carry yer dog in yer arms so she doesn't fall behind." Ellie was no sports-runner, but she did like to run to different places on occasion. However, one thing was pretty clear.

They were running to the Taqueria.
