Personality: Light-hearted and sarcastic, he sees potential where others see nil. Dan doesn't dwell on the past and is quick to forgive but unlikely to turn the other cheek, that would just be dumb. On the subject of dumb, it is something Dan is not. However forgiving and optimistic, the likelihood of him turning his back on someone who would sooner stab him in it is slim.
Biography: His Mother was Irish and his Dad was English, making Dan half and half. While he grew up in the suburbs of Lancaster, somewhat quiet and extroverted, as time went by he branched out and made some close friends.
Flash-forward a few years.
His Father was working in a cryptozoology project at the university and a strange computer spike occured, sourcing from an old disused set of files in their database. Every computer in the country went down for exactly two seconds, swiftly returning to exactly what they were doing before and when the computers went back to normal, the entire North of England and Scotland were blanketed in a thick fog.
Only one person knew the real reason, Dan, although he didn't know it. At the time the fog descended and the computers went haywire, Dan saw a creature on the lake. It was a digimon, although that was another thing he then didn't know. Dan thought he'd seen the loch ness monster in a small murky lake, in the middle of a city. Needless to say, it remained a secret as a precaution to avoid having himself hauled away.

First Encounter: Exactly two years after the incident with what was in fact a Plesiomon, Daniel had returned to the same spot he stood on two years ago, looking out into the lake when the fog rolled in, just as suddenly as before. Noone else seemed to pay it any attention and when it reached him, Dan was blinded by a bright light, felt the ground disappear from under his feet and passed out. When he awoke, he was crumpled on the floor at the bottom of a glass tube with a group of weird alien things with huge brains looking down at him and the dragon-like creature in the next tube. Something buzzed in his pocket and he pulled out a tiny metal device with two-buttons and a screen in the center. The second it was out of the pocket it began rolling off names.
