So my day went like this: I thought I woke my brother up this morning when I went to take a shower. It was around 4am-ish.
Since he was up, I decided to get a quick bite from the kitchen
before heading to bed so I wouldn't have to worry about using
the microwave. I kind of felt bad so I was like 'Hey, I didn't wake you did I?' And ever since he got mad at me last Monday, he's been holding that very grudge this day and yesterday I thought maybe he was starting to get over it. Nope. He was like
'D:< Yeah. You did. You left the ******** light on.' He was referring to my bathroom light down the hall, which was totally bogus because whenever I do have it on, I make sure to close
my bathroom door if I'm going to leave it on so it DOESN'T bother him. And even if, it wasn't even on for long. I turned it on, closed the door a bit, went to get my clothes, came back, showered, turned the light off and saw he was awake. Well, he had to go to work which is why he was up so early. And like, I don't want to be fighting with my brother so I swallowed my pride and I was like 'Dude, look I'm sorry.' Him: "D:< Ok." Me: 'For whatever it is, I am sorry.' Him: "D:< . . . Ok."
He ******** makes me want to cry all the ******** time. And I felt bad today because last week after we had the fight that started this, I yelled at him that I wished he got hit by a bus because I wouldn't have to deal with him anymore. Today the light above the door came off and hit him. It wasn't big, it was just this lantern we had out there so I could see whenever I came home from work. And like, I felt guilty.. I mean I did even when I said that, but still. I want my brother back.. we used to be so close. And my mom's pressuring me to pull strings at work so I can become full time.. I don't WANT to pull strings, I told her that, and she's like 'Fine, I will.' and I'm like 'No, don't ask Curtis about that.' and she's like 'You need to, you can't support yourself on what you're doing now' and etc..
And some other s**t happened.. so now I'm like.. tired.

Brothers are dumb sometimes. Give him a bit of space for the next couple of days, and see how things go maybe? <3 Hopefully he'll be okay, maybe not chipper and be okay.

Well, what pisses me off most is he never holds grudges
on other people like he does me.. He'll get over it with
his friends or my parents within a couple of days at most
whereas with me, it's spanned to a week and a half and
I'm about sick of it. I know that the only reason I put up
with it is because I am living under the same roof as he is
and I don't want my reason for moving out to be because
my 21-yr-old brother has been a ******** a** to me for the
past 5 years. I don't want any bad blood between us, but
it's so hard.

Brothers are dumb all the time, ask Sake, she knows all about my brothers. The cure for it is to not let it bother you. All of us guys are grumpy asses when we wake up especially. ><

← ♀ Hm...seems you need to not worry too much about the impact as well. I actually have that sort of same problem with my brother. He's the cliche a*****e "idgaf about anyone" type. You just have to shrug it off and let them do their thing. When they're on their good days have fun with it. Otherwise ignore it because it might not ever change. ._. You pretty much have to find a new dynamic is what it is. Feel around for when it's safe water or not. D: As for me. Hacker attack. On a real sense...not Gaia. Person made an open threat for another attack in the forum I moderate too so I'm preparing for some damage.

Yeah, I dunno why I take things from him to heart..
I guess it's because of all the people I want to be on good
terms with, it'd be my brother because I love him to death.
Ya know?
Omni - Have you gone through everything registered to your accounts and changed them? Change email, change security questions to something that no one can figure out because the answers are complete BS, passwords, etc. The works. :/

I kinda do. I'm sure there's something inside my brother that secretly has him bothered and that's why he acts the way he does, I dunno. I just ignore things when he's being an asshat.
I transferred to new MSN/Yahoo accounts. Made a separate yahoo account JUST for my financial info. Made ANOTHER separate email for my moderator account. And made yet another email account to link the other things to...like this account, my other forum accounts and my spare dA account (since I'm not 100% sure he can't take the main back again yet). At the same time I've left everything else on the email he got into last time...this way he's at a dead end if he tries to branch off into other areas. Also took off any and all things that said my MSN/Yahoo/AIM/Skype etc etc so he can't branch from that. My passes are pretty solid and consist of alphanumerics/symbols/upper and lower case...and are really composed of a mix of gundam registration numbers (albeit jumbled up between multiple ones) and names of either characters I've never released or people I personally know all put in leet speak.
Needless to say, I think I'm at least partly ready for another attack. If my moderator account is somehow broken into again that's all he gets...and the admin just has to put me on a "guest" title to prevent him from doing ANYTHING while on my account. Plus he can alter what email is attached to an account as well as changing their password at will. So it's not like I'm losing my modship anytime soon.

Seriously though D: Just let him cool off? I hope it all works out DX When my brother and I fight I just don't talk to him for a while then I try to be nice later on...D: Males are like that...little firecrackers and then you gotta wait till the smoke settles before checking on them
