A question I've been wanting to ask people and that I remembered yesterday after watching 10 episodes straight of Ranma 1/2 with my mom. I was amazed because she didn't leave the room ONCE during the whole 10 episodes. She says she really likes the show and that she was tired and that still amazes me. I'm just surprised she didn't get at me for the minor nudity in it... >_<
My mom also loves Inuyasha (it's no wonder she likes Ranma since they're both by the great Rumiko Takahashi) especially his "sexy dog ears" as she likes to call him. Sometimes it scares me how much my mom and I are alike.
Then there's my dad. He likes any anime that I watch. (and there are TONS of them...) Some of his favorites are Dragonballz, Rurouni Kenshin, and Inuyasha. Since Dragonballz is over he's moved on to Inuyasha and Rurouni Kenshin more recently. He says he likes the sword aspect of the shows and I don't blame him. Guns seem so old to me now...*sweatdrop*
Anyway, do your parents ever say anything stupid/funny/strange while you're watching anime? My dad tried to give us all dbz names once...he was like "Ruzenaku, could you please pass the salt?" Darn creepy if ya ask me...

I don't allow my parent to watch anime... stare ya...their in the late 50's...I'm afraid they might have heart attacks from what some of them hold... sweatdrop ... domokun heart

Your parents are better than mine... my mum seem to reckon every character is from whatever anime is Sailor Moon... redface and that they're all the same character crying

my dad really likes anime and videogames but my mom hates video games and doesnt like any anime

Yep. You can usually count on your dad to at least TOLERATE anime. My dad plays computer games too. Neither of my parents will let us get a game system though cause they think we'll do worse in school or something. *shrugs* Maybe they'll let us get one for our van cause we have a tv/dvd player in there...it's not like we study in the car or anything...

Watch anime??? my mom BUYS anime for herself... adn the only reason Mirialiah got to see all those Ranma epsodes is because my mom MADE me tape them off so she could watch them when i wasn't around... but i ended up letting Miri-chan borrow them instead... heh... funny how that works... and my mom bought a Ranma Manga and 3 tapes and said they were HERS... i could watch them but they were HERS.... lol it was hillarious....

My father watches anime with me and my two brothers, I know he likes Yugioh, he has watched Pokemon, and DBZ. He doesn't get to watch tv a lot though.

Lol, my parents let me get a game system because it allows me to do better in school. The games I tend to play have puzzles in them, and it is a good way to relieve stress without pounding on my brothers.
