(( Sorry, but I REALLY need to update Vidya's tome. x.x...So many things~~ ))
"Yes, you just are" Samira teased, though her teaseing tone faltered a bit once she noticed his pout - That was NOT fair! - and then nodded as he guessed her ticklish spots weren't very obvious. "I guess you could say that...and I'm still not going to tell!" She informed him, her tail wagging playfully...this was getting to be loads of fun! Samira's green eyes flashed for a moment when he mentioned under her knees; damnit, he'd guessed one of them! With some quick thinking, she continued to act as if he was guessing wrong...by not changing anything about the way she was acting before he spoke about her knees. "Maybe." She spoke in response, coupled by a small shrug. Damnit, Damnit, Damnit!
Enoh lowered her arm. "I think we should make a club...with t-shirts and everything. We'll be called the Super Parent Squad! I can imagine a few other Mothers and Fathers who hugely deserve recognition." Truely, Inle came to mind...that poor woman had to deal with the living Thanksgiving turkey.
"No boys until you're married? That works...I like that idea! So does that mean we get to choose their Husbands, then? Since they can't have boys until they're married?" Enoh liked that idea! That was the best one thus far! But giving a key as a wedding present would be a lot of fun... "We could always put them in special barred rooms whenever they're going to meet their boys. That way...no one can get in, no one can get out, and we can still give the key as a wedding present!" Plotting against your daughter just proved how much you really loved them right? ....Right...? The shifter listened to the bit about having others protective of Shauna. "Oh yeah, Vidya has a lot of them too~ But I think her father tops them all off...I'm kind of afraid of how he'll act when this little one is born..." She mused, rubbing her hand over her large stomach...if Nio were that protective of an adopted daughter, how protective would he be over his own, flesh-and-blood child...? Truely only time could tell...
"Doing? Well I'd imagine Vidya's dragging Shauna into some form of trouble. I swear, that sea monster of mine hangs around Tybalt way too much." Enoh couldn't help but sigh. With a yawn, she leaned back and partially cuddled against Eight.
In reality, Enoh wasn't far from the truth; though at this point, guessing who was leading who into trouble was really up in the air. It was Vidya's idea to chase after the thing that was making the scratching sounds they heard, but it was Shauna's idea to catch the thing after they discovered it was a slimey demon frog. Either way, the two girls were bound to end up in all sorts of trouble if they DID manage to get it.
"A pet? I'm sure our Momma's would LOVE it if we came home with this slimey thing!" Vidya laughed quietly before more of the frog's slime dripped onto her forehead, where her laughter turned into a groan of disgust. She didn't like this getting slimed on thing, but she sure as hell didn't want to stand up and scare it off so early in the game...she decided to stay where she was, on all fours and disgustingly close to the horned frog.
The blue girl bit her lip when she watched it puff up in warning; Shauna was right, it DID look funny! Like a slime-covered basketball! "I don't think we have a net, but...do you think we could catch it if we threw my haori over it?" She was talking to Shauna again, only she were looking directly at the red-eyed frog. "Its almost as good as a net...and if we can throw the haori over it, it probably wouldn't be able to fly off as fast!" It was such a good idea to her! Slowly as if to not startle it, and instead letting it see every move she made, Vidya moved onto her knees and ducked out of her sidebag, resting it on the ground before pulling her arms out of her haori sleeves. It was cold out sure, but in the end, they'd catch this frog!
Once she got her haori off, the frog looked meaner than ever. Not only had it puffed up to its full capacity, it was expanded its leather bat wings and was violently fluttering the tips of it, once more trying to make a show to scare the strange humanoids away. As Vidya leaned back to hand her haori jacket to Shauna, the demon frog let out a screech, and something long and pink flew out of its mouth, right towards Vidya. With a startled cry she dropped her haori and ducked to the side, the frog's darting tongue only grazed her cheek, leaving a trail of warm slime and a long, thin cut across the right side of her face. Seconds after, a small bit of blood mingled with the slime. "AGH! STUPID BLOODY THING!" A charming curse picked up from Tybalt, naturally. "That HURT! Thats it! This is WAR!" She growled at it, not wanting to touch her face incase the cut would get infected from the dirt on her hands as well as the slime. For the first time since they decided to catch it, Vidya looked away, and looked around her for her haori. Oh, they were SO going to catch that thing now~!

Normally the look in her eyes would go unnoticed...by most people. But Liam wasn't most people, he was always watching every move Samira made. He just happened to look her in the eye when he mentioned tickling under her knees, holding back a satisfied smirk. Ha, he'd finally found one had he? Perfect. Liam rolled his eyes playfully, leaning over to give Sam a little kiss on the cheek. "I see, but you never know until you try, right?" He murmured, giving her another kiss, and another to distract her from his hands gently sliding down her body until they found the back of her knees. At least the park was empty, no one would think he was trying to rape her or something if she started getting loud when he started tickling her the next moment.
Eight smiled faintly, almost sadly, when Enoh mentioned picking Vidya and Shauna's husbands, stretching her arms up over her head before giving her pregnant friend a big bear hug (She was careful of her bulging belly). "Nah, I think that may be going a little too far, don't you think? At least let them pick their husbands! But I like the idea of special barred rooms...that'd be fun. It's not sick, uncomfortable, or twisted...just a fortress to keep our little girls pure until they're married~!" Her smile grew. "But they grow up so fast, y'know? It's kind of sad, in a way...they don't stay babies forever. They grow up...and demand money and expensive items." Eight laughed when she mentioned that, her laugh fading into a fond giggle after Enoh said Nio was the most protective over Vidya. The most protective person in Shauna's life was probably Eight herself, having always considered Shauna like her own little baby. "Alex was so cute when he first met Shauna...at first he was startled by how much she resembles us, but then...it was so adorable! She poked him with Tabby and he pretended she'd killed him or something, but then they got into a poking war! She spotted that big, soft, warm, foxy--" One of her shoulder angels smacked her to get her to shut up and move on. "Tail of his, so he put it on her head and we all acted like she was invisible. I always thought he wasn't the biggest fan of kids...maybe it's just Shauna..."
Eight blinked a little at Enoh's answer. "You sure Shauna isn't the one leading? She's quite the handful every now and then, likes to hide in every place she can find to try and give me a heart attack." Eight's headwings twitched thoughtfully. "Why, just the other night I caught her sleepwalking...but it was weird because she was trying to climb out of the window! Dressed in some of my old clothes...I can't remember, did you see me much before I started dating Alex? I had all sorts of piercings...and I was always wearing black, rebellious clothing...but that's how she was dressed! Sans piercings..." She frowned.
Poor Vidya! She was getting slimed and hurt so much by this frog! She crawled after her blue friend, more of her fox traits making themselves apparent in the way she moved when sneaking towards this frog. "What's a ha--oh, that's a haori." The fox gasped when she head the wings starting to flap, reaching out incase it was about to fly away...but it didn't...huh...that was weird. She blinked when a dark brown haori was suddenly in her face, her hand moving back to the jacket when suddenly the screech came out loud and annoying, pinning her ears down against her hair and squeezing her eyes shut; it was unfortunate that she'd done this, because if she hadn't she could have had the frog cut her instead of poor Vidya.
"AGH! STUPID BLOODY THING!"
What the...that wasn't the Vidya she knew! Maybe that was something she learned from being a pirate. It didn't sound right coming from her! Shauna stared at Vidya with wide amber eyes, cautiously handing the angry girl her haori. Whoa, angry Vidya...this frog was going to be sorry! "Let's hurry up and catch it so we can wash that cut..." She leaned forward to take a look at it, slipping on some slime that'd dripped onto the ground and falling forward into the dirt. Ick! Hm...wait! Perhaps this could server to their advantage! Being so low to the ground meant the frog couldn't see her, especially with Vidya distracting it, so she took this chance to crawl around to be behind the frog incase it jumped backwards.

Crap. He saw her! Samira groaned mentally, but pretend on as if she hadn't noticed. She wasn't going to let him beat her! No no no! She offered him a small smile as he kissed her cheek. Oh he was so sneaky! If she hadn't noticed he was looking at her, she would have been caught completely off guard...but not here she was, anxiously awaiting the moment he tried to tickle her; and the wait would probably the thing that did her in. "...Right." She breathed out after some time, trying her very hardest to not let her anxiety seep into her voice. Samira totally thought she could handle this...until he kissed her. His kisses made it hard for her to notice anything else, and he knew that! Thus, even though she knew where his hands were going, it didn't stop her from uttering a surprised cry and to attempt jerking away from his tickling hand. "NOT Fair!" She laughed out, squirming as she tried to free herself, to get away.
Enoh returned the bear hug, nuzzling her friend. "Yeah...I know. Its also sad they have to grow...but I think we'd still complain if they stayed babies forever. I mean...I know its Gaia and all, but...it kind of makes you feel old to watch so many of your children grow, even if they are adopted..." She sighed almost sadly, but as Eight continued to speak, her ears perked again, and she gave her all of her attention...naturally bypassing the way she went off on a tangent about her beloved's tail; but that sly, rather fox-like knowing smile did creep back onto her lips. "Aww...that is ADORABLE! " She coo'd, clasping her hands together as if she'd just seen the cutest thing in the world. "Vidya was the first of our kids to call Nio "Daddy"...you should've seen the look on his face when she said it..." The shifter heaved a blissful sigh. "By the time Vidya came to me, Nio had already been living with me...but none of the other kids called him 'Daddy' yet...we weren't engaged or anything at that point, either. It was so nice to hear a child say that for the first time, you know..?" But she mentally noted that Alex WAS Alania's spawn, after all; chances were like Mother like Son...at least from this woman's perspective.
"I think I might have only caught a few glimpses of you...I don't really think I knew you too well back then...but I do remember you used to wear all those sorts of things. But oh my...That would have been so creepy!" Enoh shivered for a moment; luckily Vidya didn't sleepwalk, and luckily she hadn't had to deal with blue preteens sneaking out of their bedroom window...well, for now at least. "I don't know about the leading thing though...I've noticed so far that the only person Vidya gives up complete control to during an adventure is Tybalt. Anyone but him, and she'll tweak things so that they're in her favor, but still giving enough leeway to make it so her companion is still doing what they want to, too." She mused, tapping her chin with her fingertips. Vidya was overly submissive towards Tybalt...and she didn't know whether to be worried or not...Maybe later in the future she'd be more worried about that than she was now. "Thats only on adventures though, mind you...I guess theres something about it that makes her want to have control over it...She is stricken with wanderlust often, to top it all off."
Vidya didn't seem to notice that she'd said anything wrong...until she saw her haori cautiously given to her, followed seconds after by the wide amber eyes of her friend. Her own white eyes widened. "Oh...I'm sorry! I didn't mean to say that, honest~" She whimpered, obviously back to her old self...and even though she felt sorry for scaring Shauna, the grudge against the demon frog still rested deep within her. At the mention of her cut, she now lifted a hand to attempt to touch it...until Shauna slipped in a puddle of slime. With a gasp, she attempted to catch her friend; but unfortunately she wasn't fast enough to do so. "Shauna! Are you al...oh..." She breathed the last part under her breath as she saw Shauna shift to move. She understood what Shauna was going to do!
Forgetting about everything, she set to distracting the frog once more; she seemed rather good at that. Strangely enough, the frog was completely ignoring Shauna...but that was mainly because Vidya was the closest, not to mention she'd yelled at it in words it seemed to understand were bad. Picking up her haori, Vidya shuffled forward slowly on her knees, bringing the haori up closer to her face just as slowly, trying to not only keep its attention on her, but to not startle it enough to get hurt again. "C'mon you disgusting looking thing..." She hissed at it, still making sure to keep its attention.
Once Shauna was in position behind the demon frog, Vidya's slow motions turned surprisingly fast, the blue girl lunging forward and throwing the haori over the creature, who seemed too stunned by the sudden burst of speed to realize what was going on. When it felt the first pieces of the haori touch it though, it let out another shriek and jumped backwards, still partially covered by the jacket; and right towards Shauna, just as the fox predicted.
Unfortunately, Vidya didn't get to see this, as clumsy her didn't have much of a plan aside from blinding the frog; in fact she didn't even have a plan as to how to stop herself from moving. Instead of doing something clever and catching herself, Vidya stumbled and windmilled for half a second, then fell bent over the log the frog had been sitting on previously. It hurt, but it was funny, even to her; and she showed this by giggling a few seconds after a blank stare of shock.

His tickling lasted about a whole minute and a half, and that was it, after he was through his hands moved to rest on her knees instead. "What do you mean? You basically told me about it!" Liam laughed, giving her a little kiss on her lips to make up for what he'd just done. The dog leaned to the side to let her know he was getting ready to lay down on the bench (as small as it was, he could manage), hugging Samira close to him and letting his legs hang over one of the arms of the bench. It'd probably be less uncomfortable if he didn't have Samira laying on him too.
"That's true...but I'd still like it if they took more time, y'know? One of these days Shauna's going to be older than I am!" She laughed, glancing back at Enoh when she coo'd. Eight nodded, smiling warmly while Enoh told her about Vidya calling Nio Daddy. Had Enoh made it known what she thought Alania's opinion on children were she probably would have laughed and shaken her head, but she really had no idea why Alex didn't like kids...well...there were probably a couple reasons (One being that children did have their annoying moments), but Eight really didn't know.
Her headwings perked a little after Enoh continued, snickering as she pictured herself. "Oh yeah. I had probably eight or nine piercings total! My clothes were always so baggy...and I probably never would have ever considered dressing the way I do now! I was a real brat until he came along! I still have some of my old clothes...in the back of my closet..." Where she also just happened to keep certain little things she kept from the world. "Then there're still some of the clothes I still wear...I wanted so much to be like the demons my mother knew. Now look at me! I'm just like her!" She smiled sadly, perking up soon after when the whole leading topic came up. True...they were probably leading each other equally, and there was no telling what someone could come up with in the jungle of a garden Shanti was currently growing. "All I can say for Shauna is that she's not just a fox by appearance."
Shauna gave Vidya a smile when she apologized; she wasn't mad or anything! Just really surprised. Their clothes were going to be so dirty after this! Enoh and Eight were going to be so pleased that the looks on their faces would make even grown men cringe in fear! ...Well Eight's would at least, Shauna didn't know about Enoh.
The fox gasped in surprise at how fast the frog jumped at her, grabbing its haori covered body and clutching it tightly. She made sure to wrap what she could around it so it couldn't jump out of the haori and out of their grasp forever, grunting in frustration at how much this frog was struggling against her. It kind of hurt sometimes! Shauna blinked and stared at Vidya when her friend started to giggle, moving with the frog so it wouldn't hurt so much when it striggled against her. "You okay? Oof! Maybe we should...get this thing...EEP! Inside!"

"Yeah, but you didn't have to distract me like that~!" Samira whined, lightly rapping her knuckles against his forehead before she returned the little kiss that had been given; she had to get her two cents in before she forgot what she wanted to say, after all! In all honesty, she was about to get off of Liam once he leaned to the side. She figured it'd be more comfortable for him that way, in any case. As it stood, she never got far with that as he just wouldn't let her go; not that she was minding, of course. With a content little whine, she stretched out for a moment, then rested her slight frame on him only happily; hey, if he wasn't letting go, she was going to take advantage of it, damnit! "I wonder what everyone's doing now?" She questioned softly as she rested her cheek upon her hands, which were laying comfortably against Liam's chest.
"Yeah...I understand. I wish that too; and I know they're going to be older than me one day...they're growing like little weeds, especially Vidya." Though Vidya was a rather blue weed...she was still a little weed. The shapeshifter listened to Eight's description of herself before she met Alex; and the astonishment wasn't lost on her features. Somehow, she couldn't believe her friend had looked and dressed like that at one point~! To her, the Eight she knew now was the Eight she'd always been. Talk about surprises, ne?
"How did you meet Alex, anyway?" It might have been a little personal; but she still wanted to know. At the mention of demons and mothers, Enoh's small smile faltered for only a moment; well, at least Eight knew who her mother was, that was a bonus in on itself...but somehow, the shifter didn't want to bring that up. "Well...I still think you're just Eight to me...And I like it that way." She reassured her friend.
"I can imagine not...Vidya's appearance is deceiving in some ways, too." For example; Vidya was a rather smart girl, she just preferred to lead a happy and energetic life...not to mention she was a lot more silent with her footing than her 'clumsy' impressions gave of. When she wanted to sneak, damn could she sneak~!
Vidya hadn't noticed how dirty her clothes and hair were; nor did she first realize how repulsive her haori would be once the whole deal with the Demon frog was over. There would probably be some tears in it, not to mention its surplus of slime and dirt. The tale was fairly sure that Enoh wouldn't much like seeing this frog; she noted that her mother was never too good with seeing slimey things, even on television.
With another hearty laugh, she pulled herself to her feet and staggered over to Shauna. Her knees and feet were a little sore from so much crouching and from a rather long period of remaining motionless, plus the thin cut across her cheek was pulsing in an uncomfortable fashion...but otherwise she was alright. "We WIN!" Vidya announced, throwing her dirty blue arms into the air.
"Oh, I'm alright---Aie! Watch out! Anyway, yeah, lets go show our Mommies~!" She coo'd out happily, her irritation from earlier completely forgotten once the frog had been captured. Speaking of the frog...she stared at the haori bundle in Shauna's arms. "Hey, I saw on TV that you can paralyze a frog by rubbing its belly. Do you think that'll work for a Demon Frog, too?" As she spoke, she was looking around to attempt to backtrack their steps.

Liam looked down at Samira for a moment, twirling her hair around his fingers while gently massaging at the back of her neck with his other hand. "Hm...well knowing Eight and Enoh they're probably talking and giggling about anything that just happens to come to mind...Vidya and Shauna...hm...she's probably dragging Vidya into some sort of trouble..." He shrugged his shoulders a little, letting Sam's hair slip from his fingers to slip them under her chin to pull her face closer. "And the rest of the family would be rather loud, we couldn't get a moment of peace!" Liam murmured, pressing a soft kiss to her lips a split second later. "That's why I'm glad you stayed here instead of going with Enoh and Vidya."
How did she meet Alex? Eight giggled softly, her headwings perking up high on her head. "Nothing interesting or overly romantic, you sure you want to hear that story?" The halfling shrugged after a moment of recollecting her memory, smiling gently. "It was at the Tahnee Orphanage the day before we first kissed! I was sitting on the couch when he came in looking for someone...a certain woman specifically!" Eight winked, leaving Enoh to assume who the woman was for now. She'd probably be surprised! Eight sure was! "We sat and talked for awhile...flirting now that I really think about it..then guess who came in! Dear Lani with a hat and a pair of sunglasses, looking like absolute crap. She went into the kitchen without even saying hi to me, and then I suddenly heard her yell 'WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!' or something like that." Eight snickered. "Popion was in the kitchen taking food! Poor Dice, he's so unlucky having to be raised by Popion. Anyways! Earlier Alex had told me that he was looking for his mother so...one thing led to another and, after Popion and Alex almost started fighting, mother and son were reunited!" Eight cheered and raised her fist, giggling again and letting her arm fall back onto her lap.
"I'll always be Eight! ...You know...I don't even remember why I ask people to call me Eight...I know there was some big, significant reason! I just don't remember!" She shrugged.
"We should really get that cut cleaned too, we can't let it get infected!" Shauna blinked, letting her arms move with the frog's struggles instead of moving against them - that was more painful. The frog croaked and hissed, flapping its wings and trying to fly out of the haori, there were several times where Shauna could have sworn she saw a spot where its tongue was trying to cut through. Her ear perked up in regards to Vidya's tip about rubbing the frog's stomach, raising a brow and staring at the thing. "Which one of us is brave enough to try and find its stomach...? ...Er...I can't remember how to get out anyway to show our Mommas...should I get cousin Delly?" It wouldn't really require moving because she was probably already somewhere nearby, especially after Vidya'd been cut. She had a vow to keep after all!
"They're going to love this when we get into the house though!"

Samira's tail was wagging lazily by the time Liam started to massage the back of her neck. With a content sigh, she closed her eyes and relaxed, more than happy to just listen to the beat of his heart; in fact, she was so content she almost forgot that she'd asked something! She listened to him speak, finding a simple joy in doing just that; she loved to hear his voice just as much as she liked to actually touch him...so she was doubly happy now, since he was speaking and she was lying ontop of him. With a happy whine, she lightly returned his kiss, then leaned forward a bit more to nuzzle him.
"That sounds about right...Those two girls should hang around eachother more often; they might tire eachother out, thank god." Hopefully Vidya'll be less energetic by the time they get home; the tale was nice to see, because her energy was infectious...but it'd also be nice to have a break in the energy department. "Yeah...But I bet you ere sad when I didnt show up." The dog couldn't help but tease him, but she did place a soft kiss against his lips as her way of seeking forgiveness.
Enoh nodded. "I kinda would...but even if I said no, I bet you'd---" Sh cut herself off, replacing her words with a knowing smirk as Eight went ahead with the story anyway. The shifter listened in silence, chuckling softly...then pausing to stare at her friend once Popion was mentioned. Jesus, that guy seemed to start all sorts of relationships! "Ah, so thats how that happened...cute!" She paused for a moment, before she openly commented what she'd been thinking earlier. "Popion was the indirect cause for Nio proposing to me, actually." She laughed heartilly (she could laugh now, but she recalled how ANGRY she was with Popion before the proposal), then shook her head.
"I ah...Don't know my real name, actually." Why she let that piece of information slide was beyond even her, but hey...Eight was her friend, and that meant Eight wouldn't really mind. "But I don't remember why I call myself 'Enoh' either. It might have been the first thing I thought up, or It might actually be my name...But I can't say for sure." She shrugged; not knowing her own name bothered her, but... "In the end, whatever we call ourselves...Its just a name...No big deal, I guess." She gave her friend a bright smile, obviously believing what she was saying.
"Cut?" Vidya parroted curiously, staring at Shauna rather blankly. Cut? She was cu--- "Oh yeah!" She explaimed both mentally and vocally. She tried to look at it from the corner of her eye, but obviously that was easy to say, but impossible to do. Still, she knew enough to not touch it herself. "Does it look bad?" She inquired, finally dragging her white gaze back to Shauna.
She flinched softly as she too saw small rips in her jacket; hopefully they'd be visable...but in the end, a jacket was a jacket, and how often could you CATCH a DEMON frog?! Vidya doubted it was often, but then again she didn't know if she was actually right or not. "Well...I'd try, but I don't wanna get hurt again..." She admitted, though there was a part of her said that she should try because it ight be fun. At the mention of not knowing how to get out, Vidya looked around herself...and also didn't recognize anything. "Aww...shoulda paid more attention..." She murmured though she found it rather amsing. "Delly?" The tale questioned, tilting her head in an almost canine fashion.
"D'yah think they'll SCREAM?!" Vidya couldn't help but sound hopeful.

Liam grinned, leaning his hed back against the arm of the bench while Sam spoke. She was right, the most Shauna hung around other people the more worn out she sometimes got...or just the most energetic if she met the right person...Vidya might, unfortunately, be one of those very people. He knew Asra and Elle certainly were, although Shauna hadn't been around those two in such a long time. His ears perked up at the teasing, opening one eye to suddenly find himself being kissed, he pouted afterwards. "You know me too well, it seems. It'll take more than one kiss for me to forgive you though." He sang innocently, closing his eye again and snuggling into the bench to try and make himself more comfortable.
"Might take, y'know, another dozen or so more."
Eight giggled softly, nodding at how cute it really was. Her first two memories with Alex were the ones she'd always cherish no matter what. The halfling put her head on Enoh's shoulder and closed her eyes, her headwing twitching absently when a black feather drifted down and landed on her head...whatever, she must have been hanging around somewhere like she always was. One silver eye opened when Popion's name was mentioned once again, this time by Enoh. "Was he really? What? Did Nio get angry and say 'Well she's my fiancee, damnit! Stop hitting on her!' or something that actually was sweet and romantic?" She was in no way making fun of Nio, she just thought it was funny...and it sounded like something Popion would trigger. She idly twirled the long black feather in her fingers, treating it with more care and tenderness than she would the owner of it.
"Really...?" Eight blinked, smiling and shrugging a bit. "That's okay! It's not like you'd be any different if you were called 'Anne' or 'Bethany' or any other name. I asked Alex to start calling me Penny instead of Eight, I like it when he calls me Eight but Penny just sounds so much better coming from him! I'm always pretending to make such a big deal about it too when he forgets to call me Penny, it's funny." She tickled at her friend with the very tip of the feather, grinning. It really was no big deal what kind of name someone picked for themselves, as long as it was something they liked. "Besides! Enoh is such a unique name~! You stand out just when you introduce yourself. 'Hello I'm Bob!' 'Hello I'm Enoh!' 'Oh my God that is such a cool name!'" She giggled again.
"Well...no. It doesn't look so bad...but it'd still be bad if you got an infection!" Shauna looked down at the almost still bundle in her arms, nodding to Vidya's question about Delly. "She's my momma's cousin. Momma said she made some promise or something to keep watch over us all, including her, so she's gotta be around here somewhere...yeah! They'll so scream!"
"I'd pay money to see Penelope scream like the child she is." Came a harsh voice, a fairly tall (For a woman) woman stepping out from behind a few trees. Her skin was pale, almost as white as Vidya's eyes, with startling red eyes and spikey, black hair. She wore a leather corset with rings and buckles, as well as black pants that also had rings and buckles on them...just by looking at her one could tell she was of demonic origins, crossing her arms over her chest and giving her black feathered wings a flap. "Penelope isn't going to be happy when she sees that I had to lead you back to the house...any other person sure, but me..?" She shrugged, glancing at the now almost still bundle (You could see the frog panting in hysterics) in Shauna's arms, raising a brow.
"Congratulations on catching it."

Samira's ears flattened somewhat at the mention of needing more than one kiss to be forgiven...and with an almost determined look, she started to examine him as best as she could given her view point. "Hn...Alright...!" After a moment or two of contemplation, she decided her hands were going to be alright for the time being she took off her right glove, then started to reach out towards his ear. Kisses worked yes, but she also liked it when her ears were rubbed...so that'd be an added bonus, too! As she traced her fingers against the contour of his ear, she bent in once more and pressed her lips against his.
Enoh gave the feather a curious glance...where had it come from? Oh well, not important! She had a story to tell! "Oh my, that wasn't what happened, but that would have been very funny!" The shifter gave a small giggle, shaking her head before continuing on. "Naah, it was at the Orphanage's Anniversary party...we went because of Mieke, Teivel and the rest of them...anyway! While we were there, Popion just wouldn't leave me alone...so Nio tried to get him to stop, but the idiot challenged him to an Iron Chef competition! He chose poor, poor Dice as his cook...I feel so sorry for that kid..." Her kitsune ears flattened sadly at the mention of Dice, though her tone was energetic and happy before hand. "Mieke stepped in as our cook...God that girl is AMAZING in the kitchen, by the way~ It turns out Popion went as far as to decorate an entire room in the Orphanage for it, and the special ingredient was Squid. Have I told you I dislike Squid? Well I do, and it made me sick. Obviously he screwed it up, and as he did the place went up in smoke and flame." For one reason or another, even though what she was saying was generally a bad thing, Enoh was smiling fondly. "I went back into the room after Nio...and he saved me from a beam that fell from the ceiling. After that, he proposed to me, and we came out of that burning room engaged." Smiling, the pregnant woman snuggled against her friend, a happy purr on her lips. "Despite the burning beams around us, the soot and debris...it was probably one of the most romantic things ever!"
Enoh's ears flattened. "I don't want to stand out, though!" She partially whined, though another part of her was quite happy something about her was unique. "As for the Penny thing...its just so nice to hear the one you cherish call you by your real name! There's something special about it hearing your special person say it." Shying away from the feather, she reached over and very lightly flicked Eight's shoulder. "Its so nice to talk like this...Yanno, with someone that isn't my kid and over the age of thirteen." Well, Nio always talked with her, but it was nice to talk with a fellow girl who wasn't what she had just outlined.
"Well, that does sound gross...! So ah...Yeah, lets get back and clean up! We're both muddy and slimey anyway." Vidya laughed at their predicament, though her laugh pitched into a surprised cry when the harsh voice filled her ears. Turning instantly to look at who it was, she stared at the abnormally pale woman...and couldn't help but get caught by her red eyes; they were startling enough, but they were almost scary against a nearly marble canvas. Slowly, she leaned over towards Shauna. "Is that 'Delly'?" She asked in a whisper, not wanting to ask outloud for some reason...perhaps it was because the woman gave her the chills. After a moment, Vidya found her courage hiding under her awe and coaxed it out, then built it up just to be able to speak to this Delly person.
"Penelope...? Who?" She blinked curiously at Delly. Helping someone was bad? Or maybe this woman was bad, and that made whoever Penelope was mad? But if thats the case, why have her around to watch over the family if you don't like them because they're bad? Whoa, confusing! "And ah...thanks! It was hard though." More relaxed now around the woman, she found she was able to admit it was hard, and even flinch at the memory. All that slime, yuck!

For a moment there Liam was worried she wouldn't kiss him again, blinking and watching her quietly. He grinned when Samira agreed it'd take more kisses to forgive her, blinking in confusion when the girl suddenly took off her glove. Wouldn't her hands get cold? Liam opened his mouth to protest against her taking off her glove, but his eyes widened and he jumped a little when his ear was suddenly touched, her lips pressed to his. His eyes closed and he grinned, hugging the dog girl tightly against him, lifting his head a little to deepen the kiss.
"That party was pretty fun. Entered the Orphanage with two, left with...I forget...I think...seven?" Well, Shauna made fourteen...she couldn't remember now. The half demon laughed out loud at the Iron Chef challenge, covering her mouth to try and muffle it up and calm herself. "Poor Dice...at least he's a sweet boy, I hope Popion doesn't corrupt him." Eight made a face when she was told the ingredient was squid. God that stuff was disgusting, but Eight was never the biggest fan of seafood...except tuna. She loved tuna, couldn't get enough of it. "Can't believe I never noticed that..." Her brow furrowed a little, shrugging and giggling. "My dream proposal...hm...I've never actually thought about it." She put a finger to her lips, looking like she was in deep thought. She knew she wanted it to be unexpected...but romantic, but other details?
"Mhm. When I told him I wanted him to call me that instead of Eight he said it was cute, and perfect." She rolled her eyes. "Just like me. I strongly disagree with that last statement, however. Clearly I have obvious flaws." The raccoon-tailed girl whimpered and feigned pain when she was flicked, putting a hand over her face and the other hand on her shoulder where she'd been blicked. "Oh, Enoh! That hurt! How could you!" Eight nodded a little. "You're right. I haven't seen much of Lani since I met Alex, so we don't talk much anymore," She frowned. "And it's nice to talk to someone somewhere around my age, excluding Alex, Liam, and Pandora." Oh what little Eight knew of Alex.
Shauna nodded to Vidya's question, this seemed to be a very casual thing when you were used to it, because the fox was absolutely calm. "Uh huh! But she doesn't like being called Delly. Momma came up with it when she was little, so she hates the name." Giggling, Shauna looked up at Delora and grinned. The demon tapped her foot a little.
"I'm capable of introducing myself, Shauna. The name's Delora, the name I prefer to be addressed as." At Vidya's question about Penelope, the demon paused. What was that damn name her vile cousin had come up with? It was something important...what was it? She smirked a little at Vidya's explanation about it being hard, not one of those 'I'm evil so I might kill you' smirks, more like...a smug one. "I saw."
"That's Momma's real name, see..." Delora jerked her head in the direction of the house, taking the bundle from Shauna's arms to keep the thing safe from escaping and leading the two girls back to the house. "Momma and Delly don't really like each other." Shauna explained as they walked, pouting. "Because Momma is a half demon and Delly's a demon, so they don't get along much. Momma said she did for a little while...but then when she grew up a little and realized how much Delly hated her, she hated her back! Well um..." She paused for a moment, trying to remember what Eight had explained to her. Why did Delly have to watch over them again? Shauna couldn't remember. "Delly? Why do you protect us?"
"Desdemona would have my head if any of you were hurt." She sighed, stepping over a rock and finally pushing a few branches of a bush aside to let the girls onto the main path of the garden. Wow, they were farther from the house than Shauna had thought. "Penelope's never met her father, and then her mother left a few years ago, telling me to watch over her and any family she starts. I know better than to disobey her." Shauna nodded, smiling brightly when they finally reached the house. She could see their mothers sitting on the couch in the living room, and when Eight noticed the three walking through the glass door her eye twitched.
"Don't give me that look. Shauna asked for my help. Here." Delora handed Shauna the bundle again, giving an over exaggerated bow to Eight and Enoh and walking away. She had other charges to check on, after all; she wasn't even going to bother with Liam, he wasn't stupid. Eight watched her walk away, her expression having gone from happy and energetic to dark and downright pissed.
"Uh huh! I did! Vidya and I wanted to show you guys our discovery~!" Shauna chirped, acting as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. Eight's silver eyes turned to the two girls, eyeing the bundle in Shauna's arms with the utmost curiosity.

Samira couldn't help but to grin against Liam's lips; she'd caught him off-guard, yay! The dog didn't know why, but that was very satisfying. Still toying with his ear, she accepted his deeper kiss, her grin fading as her eyes re-closed. After a moment or two, she slowly peeled her lips from his, nuzzling her nose against his in a playful manner. "Am I forgiven yet?" She breathed out softly, slipping her hand back into her glove.
"Oh geez...I left that party with...one and a half. The one attached herself to Mieke and claims the doe is her mother, even though the little girl is a silver and gold mouselet...and the half is a fire fox who hangs around the house, but says she's not a part of it. Weird kids...But seven?!" Enoh stared bewilderedly at Eight. The shifter had a lot of kids, sure...but she'd never gotten that many kids in one night. Never ever ever! Nodding in agreement about Dice, she touched her fingertips to her lips to quiet one of her giggles. "We made sure it was deeper into the orphanage to get away from everyone...so a lot of people probably didn't see it!" Laughing now, she nuzzled herself against her friend, her hands patting over her very pregnany belly.
"Oh..." Vidya breathed out once the nickname of 'Delly' was explained. She still didn't understand why...Delly was a cute name in her books! However, dearing Delora speak, the blue tale raised one hand in greeting. "Well, Hello then Delora! I'm Vidya." She chirped out, figuring that since she knew the woman's name, it was only right for the woman to know hers.
After, Vidya listened in silence as everything was explained to her while they walked back to the house. Half demon, demon, family...why didn't they all get along? She really couldn't understand why a demon would dislike a half demon...but hey, que sera sera! In the end, at least Shauna was lucky to have someone like Delora around? Vidya herself only had one Aunt...and that Aunt practically didn't exist. They basically had no family ties, outside of who lived with them in the house. She was about to tell Shauna this, but...they were back! And their Mommies were outside!
"Mommie!" Vidya chirped out happily, her headwings flicking for that very same reason. "Yeah, and I asked too!" She instantly pitched in, having seen Eight's pissed-off look.
"Oh my, you girls are so muddy...! And Vidya...Is that...Is that blood?!" Enoh gasped out, trying to struggle to get onto her feet; the shifter was in worried mother mode now! Her baby was bleeding! Seeing her mother move, Vidya shuffled over to her and gave her a reassuring nuzzle with her unharmed cheek.
"Momma don't get up! I'm okay...It doesn't hurt, really!" She lied of course, it throbbed uncomfortably...but she couldn't have Enoh struggling to get up when she really didn't need to right now. Though not thoroughly convinced, Enoh complied, sitting back down with a heavy sigh...she had a feeling that whatever Shauna held was what had made Vidya bleed...and really, she worried over it. If there was something that dangerous, wouldn't the girls know not to---then again, it was Shauna and Vidya. You couldn't put anything past those two.
"We worked really hard to catch it, too!" Vidya pitched in again to what Shauna had to say, wandering over to her fox friend once her mother was sitting down again. "Its really still, so we might be able to slowly pull the haori off of it." The tale whispered to Shauna alone, then put her hands on the haori jacket...which was going to need major repairs once they got home. Counting slowly to three, she slowly pulled the jacket off of the demon frog, who sat there in a still, stupified way. It looked as though it were too scared to move an inch. "We caught a demon frog!" She informed the women rather proudly, standing beside her friend.
Enoh stared at Vidya while the bundle was unwrapped, and once Vidya said something about a frog...well, it was then she looked down to see what the girls had been up to. Upon seeing its grotesque appearance, the shifter drew in a disgusted breath but bit her lip to silence any disgusted cry she might have given. Swallowing heavilly, she drew her eyes away from the frog, and instead looked at the girls. "Ugh...uhm...C-congrats, girls...what a catch that is..." She spoke slowly, her voice strained. Ugh, that thing is sooo grooossss....!

Liam actually whimpered when Sam broke away from the kiss, trying desperately to follow her. His eyes opened and he rest his head back down where it'd originally sat, staring up at the girl laying on top of him with wide eyes. Holy crap. "...If I say no will you do that again?" ...Blunt but to the point. He had no choice but to be blunt; there was no blood above the waist to allow his brain to function properly.
Eight blushed, rubbing a hand against the back of her neck. "Eh heh...I think I'm at fourteen now..." Everyone always got to weird whenever she said how many charges she looked after. It seemed the half demon was somewhat fine now that Delora was gone, and any loud, verbal fights were avoided.
The half demon half-smiled at Viddy, shrugging. "Alright...just...try not to make a habit out of it..." Eight squeaked in surprise when he comfy, fat woman pillow started moving to get up. Blood? She could smell any...then again there was so much mud and slime everywhere. Eight was so glad there were three bathrooms, had there been two Shauna and Viddy would have been out of luck and have to share a bathroom to get themselves washed up; she wasn't sharing her bathroom anytime soon.
"...How did that happen?"
"It's just a scratch! Right, Vid? Could've been way worse." Shauna looked down at the bundle in her arms, adjusting them slightly so Vidya could reveal their prize. It was the coolest thing Shauna had ever seen, she hoped they'd let her and Vidya keep it. The fox snickered softly at the sight of the frog; it looked so funny! They scared it into submission! Awesome!
"Found it out back! Isn't it cool?" She giggled, watching the look of fear on Eight's face. The fact that it might startle the frog into escaping was the only thing that kept the girl from bursting out laughing, smirking a little and glancing at Vidya. "You guys wanna feel it?" Shauna asked innocently, looking genuinely curious as to whether or not Eight or Enoh would be brave enough to touch the frog. Eight grabbed a pillow and put it over her face, cowering into the cushions and Enoh.
"Ew! Gross!" What a child. Shauna giggled again and looked down at the torn haori, frowning.
"Liam can fix this when he comes back! ...Where is Liam?" Shauna's brow furrowed a little. He'd disappeared when Vidya and Enoh came, and he still hadn't come back...was he still at the park?! What was so interesting about the park that he'd stay there for so long?
"Oh well...can we keep it~?" Eight moved the pillow an inch off her face.
"...You're kidding..."

Samira giggled, her tail wagging happily for a moment before shivering. "Maybe...But if I were to do it again...it'd have to be someplace warmer..." The dog frowned, looking down at her hands sheepishly. "The cold...it starting to hurt..." What a mood breaker...but none the less true. If she let it get any worse, she'd probably have to start crying out of pain.
Enoh grinned, reaching up to pat between Eight's wings. "Fourteen isn't so bad...between Nio and I, we've got about twenty." The shifter paused for a moment, briefly counting on her left hand. "Yeah, Twenty including this little one..." She fondly rubbed her bulging stomach at this. "So Eighteen adopted, One undeniably biological, the other somewhat biological...four grandchildren, two employees, three 'better halves' for three of the adopted ones, plus Nio and myself...that makes it the most people that have been in my house at one time, pets and friends excluded, would be thirty-one." Now it was her turn to sheepishly scratch the back of her neck. Man they had a lot of kids! The shifter naturally noticed the tension in the air leave along with the other demon...but she knew better than to bring it up.
"Yeah, its just a scratch! We scared it, and it shot its tongue out! I tried to move, but it got me anyway...haha..." The blue girl laughed happily, apparently quite proud of her first 'wound', as small and silly as it was. Vidya leaned her head to the side as her Mother cowered into the cushions and Eight once Shauna gave an invitation to pet it, murmuring something about feeling sick. Her headwings flicking curiously, she leaned in and whispered to her fox-like friend. "Think they're scared of it?" She then pressed her hand to her lips to stifle a giggle.
"Liam? Oh, that dog boy who answered the door with you?" She posed curiously, tapping her muddy chin with her equally slimey hand out of habit. "I dunno, but if he doesn't come back, I could get Mieke to fix it too...so no worries!" She clasped her hand together, enthusiatically nodding in agreement to Shauna's question to keep it.
"Yeah, pleeeease! Look, its good now! I think we scared it into being good...and we'll take good care of it! We'll take turns! Pleeeease?" Surely Shauna would agree to that, after all! Since it'd be hard for them to keep it in one place, as they both live a ways apart.
"You want to...keep it...?" Enoh gasped out in disbelief, her wide red eyes on the two muddy girls infront of her. She listened to Vidya...as disgusting as the frog was, the girls at least seemed very sincere with wanting to keep it. She glanced back at Eight, then turned her gaze back to the girls slowly. "...If you do keep it, we're not going to touch it...it'll be up to you girls to look after it..." There was NO WAY she was going to even go near that thing!
"I can't believe they wanna keep it..." Enoh whispered to Eight with a groan, burying her tattooed face into a pillow. "Should we let them...?" She continued to whisper, knowing full well Vidya was staring intently at them, eagerly waiting for their answer.

"Oh..is it?" Liam frowned a little, holding Samira's hands and rubbing them gently with his thumbs. He'd feel so guilty if he just kept pushing and made her stay out here...hm. "I know. Whose house is closer? ...Actually, yours is probably better...it might be quieter, yeah? We can warm your hands with a cup of tea? Or hot chocolate? I'm not too much of a cook but I can do things that involve boiling water." He said with a chuckle, giving Samira another kiss.
Eight stared at Enoh while she counted out the family that lived in her house, her eyes wide. "And Alex thinks this family's big." Her face was still partially hidden by the pillow, and her voice was faintly muffled by the cloth. The half demon gave Vidya's cut a glance, finally moving the pillow away from her face. They'd have to clean that cut up anyway before it became infected from all the dirt and slime on it...gross!
The fox grinned, beaming proudly. "I think they are!" She replied in an excited whisper, snickering quietly. Shauna quietly counted on her fingers how many times Vidya said 'good' while convincing their mothers to let them keep their new demonic froggy friend, giving a nod of agreement to Vidya's words. "Yeah! We'll keep it for...a week each? Or would that be too much for him? He needs a name!"
"Well...they did work so hard..." Eight murmured to Enoh, looking a little hesitant on the whole matter. Were these really their daughters? "I'm not going near that thing. He makes a mess, you clean it. He gets hungry, you feed him. Got it? He'll be your responsibility." The girl said soon after for both girls to hear. This was a sort of test; if they really wanted him, and they were willing to do whatever it took to keep him, then Eight wouldn't stop them...directly. Shauna gasped, stepping closer to the two women on the couch while hugging the frog against her.
"Are you serious?!" She almost squealed but the fact that it might startle the frog back into its normal, aggressive state stopped her from doing so. Eight sighed and nodded, putting a hand over her eyes and mouthing a 'What have I just agreed to?'
"Enoh needs to agree too though, so calm down...go clean up too. You're both filty and that cut looks ready for a bandage."

Poor Samira probably looked something like a Christmas ornament...her green hair, green eyes...and probably bright red face from majorly-blushing. She felt so guilty somehow...but at the same time, she didn't know what she had to be guilty about. "Y-yeah...My house might be quiet now..." With Vidya gone, it might be quiet but...she still doubted it. "Tea sounds lovely...!" The dog was being honest...and though she meant to get up, she found she just...didn't want to. After a mental battle, the warning signs to her hand pains won, and she hesitantly slid off of her warm companion. "We'd...better get going, I think."
---
"Yeah, he has no idea what 'Big Family' means." Enoh's lips quirked with amusement...obviously the pregnant woman was doing her best to hold in her laughter. The shifter then settled back to wait to hear what Eight had to say on the matter.
"We might as well try a week first, an' if that doesn't work, then we'll lengthen it until we find something he likes!" Vidya squeed out happily, petting the strangely docile frog. The ugly thing seemed to be content, now that it knew the girls didn't want to hurt it at all. "Yeah, let's give him a name...! Well...Uh...I kind wanna name him fluffy. Or Bob." The tale blinked, leaning her head to the side. Why those two names came to mind, she had no idea. The thing was nowhere near fluffy, nor did it seem to suit the name Bob. Huh... "...Any other ideas, Shauna?"
Were they...deciding on a name before they were even allowed to keep it...? "Silly girls..." Enoh laughed quietly, leaning against Eight. Then, finally it seemed, the half-demon started to talk. Really, the rules they laid out for the girls seemed straight forward. But then again, to pre-teen girls they might be difficult, what with the no interest in responsibility that'll come really soon thanks to teenagedom.
"...Oh YAY! Thank you! Thank you thank you!" Vidya cheered, knowing that really, her mother was bound to agree now. "Yay...! We get to keep him!" She hugged her friend's arm, then pet their rather ugly pet's head, between his twisted horns.
"Vidya, go wash up and clean out that cut, or I'll change my mind." Enoh finally cut in, her voice strangely flat...she was serious about this, after all. The last thing she needed was for her daughter to get sick from an infected cut. Vidya stopped though, staring blankly at her mother for a moment or two...then, out of no where, Vidya spun around to face her friend again.
"Shauna! Where's your bathroom!?" She cried out, as if it were a matter of life and death. She just had to keep this frog, she had to!
