So I heard there was gonna be a new game coming up called Chrono Breakers... So anyone know anything about it? sweatdrop

That actually sounds vaguely familiar... Wasn't that one of the projects that was given the "Cease and Desist" order?
Who'd you hear was making it?

Actually, Chrono Break/Brake was to be the fourth in the line of Chrono games. Breakers just seems to be a derivative of the original name. I'd be pleasantly surprised to see the return of the series once more, but--if you trust Game Informer--they said it's unlikely to have a sequel thanks to the low sales rates of the DS game.
And no, the game that got the C&D was the Chrono Trigger Resurrection Project. As well as a few other minor projects that barely got off the ground. crying

Minor projects? I sure hope you're not referring to Crimson Echoes as being that... it was 5 years in the making and near completion when Square-Enix pulled their dumb C&D bullcrap.
@ Moony = That's probably a reference to the game that Square-Enix patented names for, which is now looking like it won't happen at all (the patent for the names has recently expired).

Ah, right. From the sound of it though, there may still be hope in the near future, it seems... Maybe something happened to cause them to patent a new name? Heh, and no, I don't trust Game Informer. I take their comments with many a grain of salt.
Oh, and I wouldn't doubt there are some Crimson Echoes floating around somewhere... In fact, I might just look for one right now. Should I post a link somewhere if I find a good one?
