Just wanted to give people some feedback on movies. Maybe to even let you guys know who I am and become more active in the guild. I am Orlgirl older sister to Dornkus and ChaosCtrl. I am also a full time hourly manager for Amc Entertainment theatres and therefore a BIG movie fan! I see a lot of movies before they even hit the public (ie: Dark Knight, Iron Man, etc)

This week's review is: How to Train your Dragon!

First off the word to describe this movie is adorable and the CG is amazingly done. With a variety of famous actors providing the cast and the mixed history of the Vikings, this movie will be a classic.

The main character's name is Hiccup; a young boy who is the main Viking's son, and how he goes to teach the village that dragon's are just as afraid of humans as they are. In the beginning he wants to learn to defeat dragons because that's how you become a man in the village. As the story progresses though he learns that maybe that's not what should happen. He befriends a dragon that is the most dangerous in the village and names it Toothless; after injurying it and damaging the dragon's tail wing. Here he develops the ability to ride the dragon and learn that dragons can be lovable and tamed in the end.

I will not spoil the entire thing but the creaters did go into great detail to name every dragon and provide a list of abilites that the dragons have. Each one different in its own special way. The main thing the village dewells upon is training their children to become vikings and defeat dragons like the main warriors do. The major plot line of the movie is that the village needs to find the dragons' nests and kill them before winter comes, so that they can have crops and lifestock to feed them during the cold months of winter.

The graphics are amazing and though I am not a big fan of 3d films, worth it because of all the hard work and details the put in the movie. The voices were perfect for each character and you have a hint of what the voice actors look like in each one.

Overall an amazing movie that will be loved and hopefully each and every one of you guys gets to experience this movie. The progession of CG is becoming more and more stunning as time progresses.

Rate:
4.5/5 stars!

Next week: Date Night starring Steven Carell and Tina Fay
