 Annablinda was walking through the woods, well more like prowling because she was sculcking through the woods. She had had a horrible start to her day. She just felt horrible. She thought her life couldnt get any worse. But luckily for her it didnt. I fact her day got much, much better. But Anna didnt know this. She was rounding a corner when she saw something brown flicker in the corner of her eye. Anna stopped, unsheathed her claws and got herself ready for whatever it was. Anna had learned that in this world anything can happen and will.

Arela had snuck out of her den to come and play in the woods. She loved the woods because it would always have at least one mud puddle she could play in. She very rarely ever had a friend to play with though. She wished she had more. Just as Arela was thinking this she rounded a corner to see another cub. This cub was purple and had foreign markings on her shoulder and back. This cub also looked like it was ready to play fight with her. So she also got down in the ready to fight mood and pranced on the purple saig.

Anna blinked. She couldnt believe it. The thing up ahead of her was another cub! Hundreds of ideas swirled through her head, what would she do, what if the cub attacks her, what if the cub was actually nice, what should she doooo!! Anna raised her lips showing her dazzling white teeth. From the bottom of her throat came this deep deep growl. Anna crouched down ready to defend herself. She was scared for her life. Like usual she was smaller that this cub. She had always been smaller that her sister but she was more agile and had tremendous speed. She hunched up her legs and sprung. Jumping up onto the tree nearest to her, trying to get the upperhand if this turned into a fight. Anna waited fro the other cub to make the next move......

Arela pranced onto the purple saig and playfully swatted at her tail and was giggling uncontrollably. She rolled over so her and the other saig were facing each other.

Anna stared in amazment, as this brown cub pranced up to her with this big wide grin on her face. Anna burst out laughing with the brown cub. Anna now knew that this cub wasn't here for a fight but wanted to play. Anna relaxed letting her tense shoulders calm. She stared at the cub as it swated at her tail. Anna sprung landing squarely on the other cubs shoulders. She made a humph noise as she landed never actually doing this before....

Arela looked over at the new cub that she was playing with. The purple cub suddenly went stiff on her as she rolled her over. She looked the cub in her eyes and said "Hey my name is Arela! What is yours?" she asked with a huge smile.

Anna and the other cub rolled until Anna was pinned under her. The other cub looked at her and said "My name is Arela. Whats yours?" Anna wondered if she should tell this cub her name. Anna was a very cautious cub and trusted not many other cubs. But she relaxed deciding it was her turn to have fun and to stop being so tense. Anna looked into the other cubs eyes and said, "My name is Annabelinda, but you can call me Anna." Anna rolled out from underneathe the other cub not likeing being pinned. She got up but then sat down with a thump in front of the other cub. Anna cocked her head to the side and said excitedly, "You want to do something Arela?" Anna paused thinking of something else to say and then got it! She said, "You know what Arela you are very nice and i was wondering if you would like to be friends?..... Anna trailed off. Anna turned around from the other cub because her face had caught on fire from her shyness. She was blushing but had no reason to. What would she do with herself if she could barely talk to somebody else the same age as she was. Anna got her juts again, turning to Arela she asked, "So you wanna be friends?"

Arela looked over at the new cub blushing. She went over to the new cub and licked her nose letting her know that she was friendly. "Hi Anna! Anna is a pretty name. of course I love friends and there is always room for more! Hmmm...lets play some more Anna! Let's go play in those flowers over there. I love flowers! Do you like flowers Anna?"

Anna saw Arela walking up to her suspecting she would sit next to her but no. To Anna's shock Arela licked her nose! Anna knew she could trust this cub. Arel probably couldnt her a fly let alone her. Arel started mumbling about playing, friends, and flowers. Anna had no idea what she was talking about but she guessed Arela had said "Sure i will be your friend want to go play in those flowers?" Anna not exactly sure what to say she just nodded her head. Anna waited fro the toher cub to lead her to these "flowers" they were going to go play in.....

"Come on! let's go to the flower patch!" Arela started running towards her flower patch waiting on the new cub to come behind her. "Last one their is a rotten egg and has to catch the other a rabbit!" Arela was so happy that she had met a cub that was around her age. She had no one at her den to play with.

Anna saw Alera running towards these beautiful flowers, and heard her shout out, "Last one her is a rotten egg and owes the other one a rabbit!" The minute Anna heard rabbit her mout started to water and her stomach growled telling her she needed this rabbit! Anna bolted. Passing Alera in seconds. Before she knew it Anna was diving into the flowers. She rolled around making a big dent in the flowers. Anna rolled onto her back sprawling out, imaging the enticeing flavors of her well earned rabbit. Anna lifted her head up as she heard huffing and puffing, it was Alera. Anna had a huge grin spread across her face. She sighes and the says, " Hey Alera, you owe me a rabbit." Anna licked her lips ready fro her lunch.....

Poppy Yukia "Too bad I don't know how to catch a rabbit!" Arela droped on the ground and started laughing as she saw Anna's face as she said this. " I can catch mice though. You want one of those? I mostly let the adults catch things. Anna do u know how to catch a rabbit?"

Anna's eyes lit up in horror, how could a cub not be able to catch a rabbit. They were the easiest of all the prey animals to catch. Anna leaped up out of the flowers, turned towards Alera and said, "Well by darn how do you not know how to hunt a rabbit! I mean I've known how to do it ever since..... Well never mind that, you don't need to know that now....." Anna paused deciding if she should say just wat she is thinking, and she does. Anna then blurts out at Alera, "You know what, how about i tech you how to. Like that idea or what?!".....

"Well I can sort of hunt. I am just no so successful at it. I amtoo lazy today to learn. I would rather sun by the lake and relax. You seem so tense Anna. You need to relax.Come on lets go swim in the lake." She started walking towards the Lake.
Arela wondered what had Anna so tense. She had never met a cub quiet like Anna. She liked Anne but wanted Anna to have a good time and not worry about hunting. She wondered where Anna came from. What family she had and all of that.

Anna saw the concern in Alera's face as she talked about how Anna was being so tense and needed to relax. Anna decided to give in. She trotted after Alera, letting herself calm as she felt the bouncy grass and flowers form around her body as Anna waded through neck high grass. Anna arrived at the beach just after Alera. She felt the warm salty breeze flow through her fur, it felt so good. But then Anna stepped out onto the sand and could feel it flowing over, and inbetween her toes. The sand relaxed Anna so much she just wanted to curl up in it and stay there forever, but she knew this couldnt happen so she just trotted on up until she was next to Arela, at the edge of the surf. ....
