So as I always do I walked home from school today. After leaving the school I looked to my left and saw a person and two dogs. One following my eyes as I walked farther and farther away. I have two myself and see dogs in general as amazing. Well I watched them as far as long as I could and as long as they did. Not having written any poems lately I decided to give it a shot. Pondered about several ideas, but then this one struck and instantly I wrote away.
Your eyes explore, our eyes meet, returning glances, our range increasing, never enclosing, your ears perk, listening to my steps, farther and farther, fading away, soon both blurring, nevermore, nevermore, tomorrow a new day, will you be there again, to watch me walk by, as I endure your care?

Thanks, turning my poems from sad and hurtful to more neutral. Giving it a new approach.
