i was just at the shooting range for the first time today and it was so much fun!. it was really loud and my sister was being a brat and kept having a bad attitude and wanted to leave as soon as we got there, but who cares about her XD
on her first shot though she hit the wire that was holding up the targets. and i killed one of the clips that were used to hold up the targets, i felt so proud of myself mrgreen remember guys, if you ever have clip problems just call shanna66 and ill take care of the problem for you XD
needless to say as my first time shooting a handgun i was terrible, but i hit the target a few times and it was really fun. now i want a gun of my own so i can go there without my dad. anyone know od something small, quiet and pathetic? basicly if you were to buy a gun for a 6 year old girl what would it be and ill look into it for myself XD

Haha, just the title of this had me saying, "Oh geeze, what is she getting herself into now?" Rofl.
I've never actually been to a shooting range before, though my dad used to live right by one. I absolutely LOVE paintball though. Who cares if people think it's a sport for boys? lol
As for the kind of gun for you, I couldn't tell ya. I do have a friend who's pretty good with gun types, but he likes the bigger guns. Maybe you could ask someone at the shooting range?

That's so awesome! I enjoy guns myself (most people are shocked because they view me as an animal loving hippie I guess?) but I don't know much about them. Still, I am jealous you got to go! I'll ask my boyfriend what he thinks, he's prior service in the army and a gun nut, so he knows a thing or two.

Oh what Fun. I haven't been down to the range yet, but my younger sister goes all the time with my dad. I prefer being out doors when we go down to bama to visit and shooting at the targets my uncle has. Maybe I'll go up to the range one day, but...

hey, i hardly ever get into any real trouble lol though i will be drinking like a drunk irish woman this weekend, going out with a group of female friends to atlantic city. we'll see what sort of stuff i get myself into then. kidding, i dont pland on drinking that much at all, one glass of wine every few hours and thats fine with me, im going for all the free food.
the fiance wants me to start collecting guns since he already collects swords. we are going to be the crazy reptiles and weapon people if/when we ever get a house lol

Personally I have a.38 revolver and a 9mm semi automatic, inherited from my dad.

Gah. I'm jealous. I'm debating taking some sort of gun safety/handling class, if the local ranges offer something like that around here. The only person in my family who handles a gun is my dad, who low lives multiple states away and only uses rifles for hunting. Not what I want....
