The dark woods tend to catch the eyes of some of our most curious campers. Almost everyone of our campers have wondered into the woods looking for more than meets the eye. Sadly- there's only
woods. Though they're are a few good nymphs and satyrs that live out here as well.

"I may look weak, but I'm not. Trust me." -June Moore June kept running until she fell onto her knees and gasping for air. I'll never enter that cabin again. She thought to herself, still gasping for air. I think I'll just sleep on top of the cabin. Yeah, that'll work. She stood up and brushed the dirt off her clothes. She stayed where she was and admired the quietness of the woods.

She had a half eaten chocolate bar hanging from her mouth as she concentrated on the object of her latest sketch portrait. She smiled as she did what she enjoyed most, even her snake-like and normally cold eyes softened to a warm golden color.┬ ┭ ┮ ┯ ┰ ┱ ┲ ┳ ┴ ┵ ┶ ┷ ┸ ┹ ┺ ┻ ┼ ┽ ┾ ┿

"I may look weak, but I'm not. Trust me." -June Moore June explored the woods a little, getting fresh air and noticed a girl sitting under a tree in the shade. She walked slowly over to the girl and stood a few feet away. She had her hand on her hip. "What are you drawing?" She asked and one of her gray eyes looked at the girl, while the other one was hidden behing her black hair. She took a deep breath still trying to get the stench of the Hermes cabin out of her nose.

§Μεясєdєѕ Яσdяiguez§  I walked through the forest. It was quite. Just like when I was walking through the corn at night with my little sister and brother, Susan and Samuel, and nothing but the stars and the light from the house to guide me. Not like I'd wanna go back, I could spend hours outside teaching Susan and Sam the consolations and goof with them about seeing a space ship. I miss Roswell. I wanna go back and cut crop circles in the corn feilds of others fwith my older brothers. You've never seen anything funnier than a farmer from the "Alien Capitol" yelling, "What in god's name hap pend to my crop's!? I gotta report this!" I looked around and sat on a rock near the creek. I wonder if there's any alien spottings here? I thuoght Haha, mess with the people in New York. Funny. I then relized that they had a lake here. I haven't gone swimming seince I got baned from the one back home. Good times. Good times. I then got up and jumped across the creek with a little help from a running start and ran to the lake.

Syrene looked up as she heard the question, she pointed at the flower that was a couple of feet away from where the other girl stood. It wasn't very large, but it was still very pretty. "That flower." She answered in a soft voice that didn't seem much accustomed to talking a lot. She thought that there wouldn't be many people here this time of day, in the middle of the summer. She thought that many of them were at the beach either cooling down or sweating. Perhaps some were eating or sleeping.

Hopefully you haven't heard of me." She said and sat down on the ground. I really hope people haven't heard of me. I'm a bounty hunter, so who hasn't heard of me. She thought to herself and looked up at the sky.

Syrene looked back at June, a bit confused. "There are many June's." She said in the same voice as before, "I'm sure I wouldn't be able to single one out of the millions with the same name." she added before smiling softly, "I'm Syrene, daughter of Erichthonius, and judging by the way you're breathing you must either be unclaimed or a daughter of Hermes." her smile turned a bit sly as she waited for a confirmation of what she had just said.

Kevin walked into the woods and saw 2 people talking. One of them he recognized, but the other was an unfamiliar face. "Hey Syrene and um...girl." He said.

"I'm glad you haven't heard of me. Well, you probably would if I told you my last name, but I won't." She sighed and brought out her whip. I'll be nice to these people, unless they get me mad. Plus, I wanna arm wrestle a male and win again, it's fun beating males at anything. She thought to herself and laughed a little.

 Skylar had been reading when soft voices were carried up to him. He looked up from his book, dark purple reading glasses with a black design perched on the bridge of his nose. It was barely noticable, but on the side of the glasses, there was a small grinning joker face. He sighed through his nose and took off his glasses and it morphed into a keychain, complete with a dark purple joker charm, and he hooked it to the side of his messenger bag, which was right next to him. He slipped the book into said bag and shouldered it. He jumped off the wide branch he was on, and landed neatly on two feet, not too far away from the two conversing girls, and the boy who had just come in. He turned his head to look at them slightly, dark eyes not fully open, before leaving for Half Blood Hill.

June heard a third voice and turned her head to see a boy. "My name's not 'girl', it's June Moore," she said to the boy and slapped her forehead after she realized she said her last name. "I'm such an idiot for saying my last name, now people will know who I am. If they've heard of me," she whispered to herself and looked up. "Well, my secret's out of the bag." She said to nobody in particular.

"June Moore, hmm?" Syrene looked as though she recognized the name for a few moments, "You mean that June Moore?" she paused, "Never heard of you." she shook her head with a small smile before waving in Kevin's direction, "Hello, Kevin. Pleasant to see you at this time of day in this dark and gloomy place." she greeted pleasantly and jokingly. She turned back toward June, "How are you liking the camp so far, from the looks of it your don't enjoy the Hermes cabin at all."

"Wait! I remember now! I was watching the news the other day. June Moore was like some amateur bounty hunter or something. I didn't think much of it, because it's just killing for money, which isn't anything major." Kevin said, shrugging his shoulders. He leaned against a tree and took out his sword. He carved the letter "K" into the tree, rather sloppy, and then sheathed his sword. "Being a bounty hunter is your secret?" He asked, laughing slightly.

"If you're so keen on keeping your identity a secret why not just get an alias." Syrene eyed the other girl, she turned to Kevin, "Bounty hunter? You mean those people that kill other people for money? I thought they were called assassins, bounty hunter just sounds like you're killing animals for other people." even though she didn't enjoy people killing other people she couldn't stop others from doing whatever they wanted. That and she didn't care very much about what others said and did.
