Great view.

Sitting next to Thalia's tree, just behind the barrier, was a fair skinned half-blood. Her slender arms pulled dress-pant covered legs to her chest the black contrasting with her orange camp shirt. Her storm-blue eyes shifted slowly, panning over the view from the spot she sat at. The girl had just returned from a small visit among mortals, but wasn't all that interested in returning to the camp-grounds just yet. Letting her gaze drop to her feet Claire fingered the necklace she wore. The bronze-colored chain glinted as light rays bonced off, making it shine. "I'll head down in a bit..." Claire said softly with a nod of her head, her voice soft and yet had a slight hidden air of authority.

(Hopefully this is a good post...)

Skylar headed up the hill, only to find it already occupied. He tilted his head. She was a blonde, her hair looked like it was bleached. She didn't seem to notice him, and he thought it for the best. Something was nagging at him in the back of his mind that he should not go near her.

Claire gently unclasped her necklace watching as the clain intangled together to form a celstial bronze blade with a basic hilt. The blond eyed the blade before setting it down and watching it return to normal, or at least the mortal idea of normal. Sixteen year old girls didn't go running around with swords in mortal minds. Reclasping the chain Claire ruffled her hair, letting small strands fall into her face as she leaned against the tree. Though as she did something made it's way into the corner of her gaze. Was that a person? Curiously Claire looked that way only to find a teen standing there. "Oh..." She murmured, surprized to find someone up here. "Hello..." Claire trailed off.

Adelle sits by a tree, unnoticed, talking quietly to herself.

Skylar watched as she unclasped her necklace and it became a bronze sword. Bronze. Why did that set off warning bells in his head? "I apologize. I didn't mean to intrude..." He murmured and sat down on the other side of the tree.

Claire blinked, “Ahh… It’s no intrusion,” She said kindly watching him walk to the other side of the tree “I was just sitting here, not all that important.” The girl looked back out to the surroundings a curious look in her eyes. She was calm, not rushed, not running for her life, it was peaceful up here. And there was no training: that was a plus. She seemed to drift from reality, not paying much attention to things around her. Softly Claire started to hum a soft tune she picked up from walking through a park earlier that day.

Skylar tilted his head curiously. What a coincidence....He knew that tune. He continued it under his breath. Where had she heard it? Had she been to the human side? Was it possible that she had seen his mother? He shook all thoughts of hope from his head. He hadn't seen his mother for a year now....

He tugged Trickster, the keychain, from his bag and it morphed into a flute. He began playing the tune without much thought. It reminded him of his childhood...For a second, he faltered, but continued playing anyways.

Adelle listened to the tune. She knew it pretty well. She joined in, her humming darker than the tune's. Her wolf family had howled it to her...she was just a pup then...

Picking up the soft note that continued her tune Claire slowly stopped humming. Shifting the way she leaned against the tree the blond brushed her bangs back out of her face. Once the locks were out of her face Claire looked around her for something, only to find she was sitting on it. Pulling from under her a sketchbook with a mechanical pencil attached Claire smiled softly. Once the booklet of paper was safely on her lap Claire returned to watching the area around her. “Should I draw this too…?” She asked herself softly. The reason Claire had basically snuck out was to draw the park and a few things in the town. She was, after all, a long-time camper at the camp and once breaking the rule couldn’t hurt. She hoped…

Adelle laughed at herself. Family, she thought, Ha.

Skylar let Trickster shift back into his reading glasses and took out his book. However, he couldn't focus. He wanted to see his mother...But he wasn't about to go breaking the rules. He sighed, mentally beating himself up and averting his eyes to his reading.

He heard laughing and his dark eyes looked up again. There was a girl he had missed before. His dark eyes looked over her carefully before they closed. "I cannot fix on the hour, or the look, or the words, which laid the foundation. It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun." He recited under his breath, trying to clear his mind.

Adelle's chocolate eyes stared into his for a milisecond, then she looked away.
