Since Kurei started his command of the twelfth squad, he has made it known that, among the necessities taught in the academy, a Shinigami must know and be very skilled at. These include:
- The Shinigami must excel in the use of Bakudo. The reasoning behind this is Kurei's complete preference over live subjects for experimentation compared to a corpse. If a corpse is brought to him when it was possible the subject matter could have been brought in alive, Kurei would be more than furious.
- A second requirement is that, for the current year, Shinigami applying for his squad provide him with a chemical compound that results in a commonly known acid renown for its reaction with glass. He also requires you to provide him the primary form of containment for this compound.
(( The first is a requirement on your profile, as well as a means to Role-Play a certain way depending on the situation. The second is merely a fun "test" I threw out there. You may use whatever resources you have available to you (obviously you have the internet, but maybe you could refer to a chemistry book or perhaps even an instructor?).
