So i'm not sure about y'all, but I have random questions when i'm reading the manga. Questions like...
-Does Alucard still have to go to the bathroom, even though he drinks blood?
-Does the Captain smell like an old dog?
-What would happen if you put Schro in a box with some poison, a Geiger counter and a radioactive element?
-How many characters are secretly gay (so far I have my money on 4... >.>)?
So, if anybody has theories on the answers to my questions, or has questions of their own, post em here!

The Captain has probably spent his life being tugged between the poles of a divided soul, running with wolves at some times, living with humans at others. His wild eyes and his inability to speak are indications that he may have relied a little too heavily on his wolfish instincts for a little too long, causing his human recall to atrophy. Apollyon1537 What would happen if you put Schro in a box with some poison, a Geiger counter and a radioactive element? He'd probably appear behind you and ask you what you were doing. Apollyon1537 How many characters are secretly gay (so far I have my money on 4... >.>)? A more interesting question is, "How many characters are openly gay?" I count one, at least (Zorin). Although the Doctor looks pretty gay, I doubt he is (I doubt he has any desire for personal relationships). Heinkel might be gay, but it's difficult to say (because she's essentially genderless). Walter might be gay, if him and Alucard had a thing back in the 40s. Then again, Alucard had taken the form of a girl, so I'm not sure that counts. Alucard's admiration for humans (such as Abraham Van Helsing and Anderson) borders on love, but I don't think it's sexual. Then again, it could easily be. Alucard's is a very passionate, very sexually-charged soul.

I still think Maxwell is gay...or at least bisexual...I had this whole theory going on about how Maxwell went after Integra just to divert readers away from thinking he's gay. Whether that is true or not doesn't really matter I guess...
Alucard could be. Homosexuality wasn't uncommon back in the day of Vlad the Impaler. Keep in mind the flashback of Alucard's past when he and his brother Radu were sold into slavery and sodomized by their slavemasters. This might of had an impact on Alucard's own sexuality.
;o I wonder if Schrodinger would revert back into a normal cat, if that were to happen.
I've always been curious to know the stories behind Renaldo and M'Quve. What ever happened to Renaldo anyways? He was seen in volumes 1, 2, and 4, but after that, he just disappeared. Why was M'Quve the one to take over Maxwell's position?
Is Integra truly Arthur's daughter? He would have had to of been rather old, and unless Integra got all her looks from her mother, the two look almost nothing alike.
This series does trigger a lot of questions. o-o

I now know that he obviously doesn't. . . um. . .poo, to put it bluntly, but when I first started reading, I was a little unsure because after he ate Luke Valentine, he said,"Now you can be dog sh**." And that made me a little curious. . .
Um, Captain and wet dog smell. . . probably, but I figured that after a while, someone would make him bathe at some point.
I honestly don't think there are any secretly gay characters, although a few sometimes seem a little gay. I know for sure that Dok is! He has his shirt cut off so you can see his belly button and in volume 8 he had his hands on his hips and everything!

Lol I'm not sure if y'all are aware, but this thread is for humorous purposes. Personally, I don't think my questions should be taken seriously. Especially the Schro and the gayness ones. I'm glad you're all into this, but you needn't take it so seriously. 3nodding This is the spam forum, after all...

Here's one I've always been asking:
Why does everyone; literally everyone wear gloves???
I know, this is more of a question to Hirano's artist style, but I'm always wondering why.
I mean the only time I've seen someone without a glove is in flashbacks in the manga, like Integra's dad, Abraham when slaying Dracula, and of course Alucard's own flashback when he was still human, as it's unlikely gloves were commonly worn in those times.
I suppose this one is unanswerable unless Kohta Hirano himself actually gives an explanation. Perhaps he just favors gloves, like he favors eye wear too.
Maybe he intentionally does these things to create a sort of trademark to his style; if not, he's certainly succeeded in doing as much. His style is unmistakable, that's for sure.
(Also I've long ago noted he tends to avoid drawing eyes, either by drawing one, something to hinder the eyes (like glasses or shadow), or none at all; perhaps he feels eyes are his weak point? Or perhaps that's also a sort of trademark he likes to keep. *shrug*)

A good question to add onto that... Do they ever take their gloves off? surprised (imagines the day Integra finally loses her virginity: "No, I'm just gonna keep my gloves on." I have a good one: WHY IS ALUCARD NOT MORBIDLY OBESE!? The blood doesn't really go anywhere and he's eaten entire ARMIES! He should be bigger than Jaba the Hut! He should be so big that he'd make the Major look good in a bikini! Yet he isn't. . . .Maybe its his metabolism.
