This topic is to introduce yourself! Just write a little paragraph with some basic info about you and your tennis life!
I've been playing tennis on and off since I was eight. I'm currently using the HEAD YouTek Prestige Pro and I love it. I'm attending Ferris State University for Professional Tennis Management; awesome degree, but I'm not going to plug it, just ask me if you want to know more about it!
I try to play at least 6 hours a week, but it can be tough to find time, huh? I'm a serve and volleyer for the most part, and I'm a certified teaching professional level P2 by the United States Professional Tennis Association.

i love tennis. im on my high school girls tennis team. *cough* MVP *cough cough*i play doubles with my partner, Ro-Ro. im a lefty player with a power serve. i make knees go weak with my speed jk jk jk jk jk jk. tennis is my world.

i was about to play in my first tournament, but the older girls on my team told me to wait for another tournament cuz last year's was so unorganized that none of them particpated this year.
yeah, the last guild was pretty dead, my posts almost matched the number of posts of the captain.

That's awesome you're getting into tournaments! I can't wait to hear how you do!
Yeah, the other guild seemed dead; one of the reasons I made this one. Would you mind recommending it to all the tennis players you know on here? Since I'm the leader, I can't recommend people >.<

Same team and stuff. Yeah, we were doubles partners. and I got a plaque for "most improved" biggrin
AND
I think I'm going into varsity next year cause my coach said "Good luck in varsity."
I'm not into tennis as much as she is though. I'm guessing. Haha.

I'm decent at serving, but my second serve, which is a slice serve, goes pretty fast. My first serve is powerful and I can usually control where it lands. My racquet is head-strong, so I don't have to swing so hard to have a powerful hit. My forehand improves everytime I play, but my backhand still has room for a lot of improvements.
I find it very fun to volley a couple of weeks ago. I can mostly "punch" the ball to where the ball hardly goes over a few inches above the net, but, like my backhand, has room for improvements.
I enjoy messing around on occasions with people I know, but I flare up in anger really fast if someone is right behind me when I play or constantly screams when they talk.

ive been on vacation for the past 2 weeks in korea and i havent played tennis at all while ive been here...........im like dying without it. so my dad says we'll play racquet ball, so we did, but raxquet ball is nothing like tennis.......as soon as i get home, im pickin up my racquet and hittin til i cant hit no more. smile

I dunno about you guys, but my week has been crazy! This weekend was our banquet and this week I've just been slammed with work to get done. Sorry for the absence the past few days. Let's get something fun going! I'm going to start an ideas thread!
