I never bothered to come post. I'm not quite sure why.
I apologize, Rose Soul. I didn't mean to. It's strange though, evermore, because I always read the announcements for Rose Soul. I even popped in a few times, looked for a thread to post in, but was never sure which.
So, now I'm finally getting up and posting -- a thread, this time.
I hope I will be welcomed unto Rose Soul's bosom.

and i am for it, to be honest. the way i see it, the Health Bill helps to cover more people. it is more beneficial to those who were of poorer positions (such as myself) even if it does use tax money that comes out of the paychecks of working people.
i've had this debate with a friend of mine recently, she feels that it sucks because she isn't even making enough money to support her dogs let alone herself, and now her pay is getting trimmed for use to cove people other than herself, while she herself still doesn't get very good coverage?
but see, we can't expect everything to be fixed with one bill, there has to be reform in other areas as well in order for it to work. i think the hardest part will be getting the majority of america to realize this and work together for that kind of change. but it is needed.
the funny thing though is that Sara and i could both agree on this much, and also that we both would like to see Obama replaced soon as his term is over. xd quite frankly, i'm hoping for Bill Nelson to take over. whee

I really mean it. I keep getting trolled in my thread. I barely post in it, and I STILL get trolled.
I basically have people yelling at me that I'm wrong for my opinions, but did they think of First Amendment Freedom of Speech?
Jeez.
Oh, by the by, have you seen my thread in the Health Reform yet?

Well personally I think that some health reform is BADLY needed, but that the current bill isn't necessarily the right one. *shrugs* I'm just hope it don't end up like all the other legislation establishing program by the government (i.e. SS) where the intentions were great but the implementation sucks and they screw the pooch through the years.
I'm wondering if this will just push us towards what seems to be happening... the death of the middle class. The middle class is shrinking and they are merging with the lower class and we are left with either upper or lower which is a VERY bad situation. Tends to lead to revolutions and such if you look at history.

and ah, yes Cronos, i am glad that someone else believes me about the dieing middle class! gonk it seems to be a denied and ignored problem. however, revolution is exactly what we need. there's kind of a reason those happen when things like diminished middle classes pop up. xd
