[PRP] Dear Guardians, What Have we Done? (Sari and Shale)

"SHALE!" Sari screamed, panicking as she stood there in a puddle of guardians only know what. Her hands were on her stomach, feeling the little ones she had carried inside her for however long already start to fuss and move more than they ever had before. The shetani groaned in pain as they kicked her roughly over and over. At least that's what she thought they were doing. In reality her water had broken, they were just getting ready to come into the world.

Where was that man? She needed him there NOW! Panic, pain, confusion, and worry were not what she needed right now. Not two minutes from now, but now.

Shale had been outside tending to a flowering bush he'd planted not to long ago when he'd hear his wife scream his name. Dropping everything but the small shovel he was using, he tore into the house brandishing it for anything that could have been attacking his wife and unborn children. When he saw Sari and the puddle of clear liquid beneath her, he dropped the shovel and stared in shock for a few seconds before composing himself.

"Sari, you need to sit down, I need to boil water." He had read up on some books about child birth, and vaguely knew what to do. Running into the small kitchen, he quickly got some water over a fire and waited it to boil. This pregnancy was finally going to be over! No more random, midnight trips to the HQ to get whatever craving she needed. No more back pains for his poor darling.

She let out a small groan of pain, trying to be composed while he was present, unable to contain it all. Sari sat as he told her, trying to remember the breathing practices her grandmother had told them.. Oh how she wished for those days to be back so this wasn't even a thought in her mind. The female gasped, hands on her stomach. They really wanted out didn't they?

Panting lightly she tried to remember the good times of the pregnancy.. Though the best part was his reaction to her actually telling him...

Shale finally came back with the boiling water and he took Sari's hands. "It's ok, love, it's ok. I'm here, I won't soon be leaving you." He whispered the words as he stroked her head gently, planting kisses on her face and squeezing her hands. He looked at her belly and smiled, thinking happily about what was soon to come. Looking back to Sari, he couldn't help but fall in love with her all over again; she was in pain, and rather not happy, but she looked amazing and almost godly beautiful still. He wondered how someone could, even in their most painful moments, still be so beautiful.

She was almost annoyed at him for his doting on her. Almost. Sari enjoyed his attention too much to be angry or annoyed at him for long regardless of the reason. The soon to be mother groaned, fingers searching for something to clench and possibly break with how much she needed it.

Sari was at her limits already, and she knew there was a lot more pain to come if she didn't shape up quickly.. Nothing Shale had read her through the pregnancy had prepared her for this. "It's coming!" She panted, wanting his attention on the soon to be born children rather than herself.

Quickly, he grabbed the closest thing for her to squeeze, a pillow, and handed it to her. "I need to go around and watch for the delivery, ok sweety? You're doing fine." Giving her a deep kiss, he left to go around to her other side to keep the kids from being popped out onto the floor. This was it, this was what all of this lead up to. This was the start of their new lives.

Sari nearly glared at him as he kissed her, this was so not the time for it. With another groan...

TIME JUMP 8D

The new mother was out cold, having delivered two amazing gorgeous little girls to her husband. The mother was going to need bed rest for a while, but the infants would keep her up and moving. Shale would need time to sleep too. Eventually. She had kept him up at random hours of the nights when she had cravings.. Fair was fair right?

Shale had towels and old rags laid out around him, his two infant daughters in front of him fussing a little as he cleaned them and wrapped them in their soft baby blankets. Taking one in each arm, he brought them into the other room so they wouldn't wake their exhausted mother. Sitting on their bed, Shale began to rock each of them, humming a gentle song as he took in their beauty. Sari was amazing, and now she'd given him the gift of a family; he couldn't wait for her to wake up so he could shower her with affections.

Talil slept quietly. It was a big day for her and her sister, and an even bigger one for their parents. She could care less about the world, who held her, or the passed out mother in the other room. Right now, she was just content to be warm and next to the one she had been so very close to for the entire pregnancy. That was the comfort, that there was another to share warmth with.
