 Jarita had spent the day with Bangil - something that wasn't unusual for her, they were best friends after all and spent most days together. But as evening started to fall they had parted ways and Jarita now found herself avoiding puddles from the afternoons rain and eying the sunset.
Thankfully the clouds had parted long enough to afford a decent view of the streaked colors and she was finding the sight rather enjoyable, which was why she was walking rather then flying - why hurry when it was so pretty out? or maybe that was just the excuse she'd given herself and she'd become accustomed to walking due to her friends wingless nature. Oh well Jarita decided it didn't really matter and skipped sideways to avoid the mud while singing a little tune she recalled her mother singing when she was smaller.

 Ayita barely noticed the sky, he was so filled with misery. Today had not been a good day, as far as he was involved. Yet again, he'd been rejected by a lovely female and the rain had suited his mood. He was in such a state that he hadn't noticed the rain as it pelted his body.
When the sun started to appear, he'd stared up in loneliness, wondering if he'd ever be good enough for a mare. He was so filled with dread, he barely noticed as he bumped into the female in front of him.

Jarita on the other hand was so intent on missing the puddles and looking at the sky that she didn't notice the approach of another until they bumped into her from behind. Letting out a little squeak of surprised Jarita tried in vain to keep from slipping into one of the puddles, her wings and hooves flailing as she tried to keep from stepping in them.
It was all to no avail however as the mud was slippery around the edges and she'd been in the process of skipping sideways to avoid one when he bumped into her the combination of all those things ment one of her hooves skid down the edge and hit the murky water with a splash. Jarita's lips curled slightly in distaste as the water spattered up her chest and leg. Letting out a deep sigh she turned about intent on yelling at whomever had run into her when she caught sight of the dejected look on the stalions face.
Well..now she couldn't yell a him now could she? She'd just feel bad about it even if he had knocked her into the water. "Are you alright?" She asked him though she supposed he could think she was asking if she'd hurt him in her flailing.

Blinking at the flailing, Ayita noticed the female he'd apparently bumped into a mud puddle. She looked adorable in her muck and he admired her coloring. Shaking his head, he smirked slightly. "I'm just fine, you on the other hand seem to be covered in mud."

A grimace slid over her face as she glanced down at herself - how very mortifying, leave it to her to be run into by a handsome stallion and get covered in mud. Anyone with any decent sort of luck would have managed to avoid the mud and probably look graceful doing it too.Alas...not her and she sighed slightly "Don't remind me" she told the stallion looking back up at him.
Jarita hated being dirty - but there was no helping that now so she didn't see much point in harping on it and letting it ruin her conversation with this stranger - even if this stranger was the reason she was mud covered to begin with. "I assure you...its not my usual look" She told him with a slight smile "I do wonder what you found so intriguing that you didn't notice me though" she teased him.
