Wow, I so wish I could see that. You'll have to tell us all about it!! Is it going to be a musical, or just a play?

TADA! I am posting!
It was soo good. Everything was so cool. The special effects were crazy! When you first walk into the theatre half of the walls and most of the ceiling were covered in wooden vines. They had changed the whole place into a forest! It was astounding!
The balrog was one of the coolest things. They had a big shadow type thing, and red spot lights, and red strobe lights and they turned on these huge fans somewhere and blew everyone hair (including the audiences) around everywhere. And they dropped scraps of tissue paper from the ceiling and it looks like ashes ansd stuff. Amazing.
Smeagol/gollum was soo creepy. His costume was cool. And the orcs were on pogo stick type things and they could do flips and stuff. There was this big bar scene in Bree, it was so funny cuz the hobbits and the bree folk (big and little) were flipping over the benches and doing cartwheels ands stuff.
I had one ever so small disapointment. I thought that aragorn should have had a more commanding sort of presense on the stage. They really accentuated his sneaky/rangerness, and not enough of his kinglyness.
But other than that it was the best play I have seen. And I bought a laminated poster and a pewter pendant. So fun! I want to see it again!
oh ya i was on the first balcony level and i was the fourth row from the front, so i was really close.

mistress_liv oh ya, PS. they did the scourging of the Shire YAY! screw you and your movies PJ! Omg this sounds SOOOO cool! I wish I could go see it! And I can't believe they actually did that part! In my opinion it's VERY important to the Trilogy. It's a shame it's in Canada and not in the US.
