This is obviously a popularity battle. Cloud wins, in that case. He is an overpowered character, y'know. If everything was evened out, Squall is faster than Cloud. Speed gives an advantage of being able to demolish a person before they can set up an adequate defense. The winner changes depending on the situation.

Squall would so win. He's faster and Cloud is more balanced towards strength than skill.

We need a more fair battle...Jecht vs seph? >_<
we should have like a poll chat =O Everyone types in the character they want..then we can Grab the 2 most popular characters then have a debate..Is that a good idea? >w<

More people do like cloud >w> We need a more fair battle...Jecht vs seph? >_< we should have like a poll chat =O Everyone types in the character they want..then we can Grab the 2 most popular characters then have a debate..Is that a good idea? >w< im planning to change the battle every week, and then have a debate, you can suggest your battlees in the sticky, and read the sticky too! for Squall vs Cloud i would pick Cloud because i think he is more stronger and skilled with a sword, like come on in advent children he absolutely destroyed Sephiroth with that move, i have no idea what it is called, do any of you guys know?
and for Jecht Vs Sephiroth i think sephiroth because he can dissapear and re-appear and he is also extemely fast, and if he used Black Materia it would be like a Instant kill almost

I think it's called "Omnislash Version Five", but I could be wrong. Also it'd be a a fairly close match, but Squall would win.

Between Cloud and Squall, I'd probably wager Squall winning because of his ability to Draw magic from Cloud. Imagine what he could Draw from Cloud's psyche and use against him! I mean hell, Ultimecia drew Griever from Squall!

Firstly, Stat-wise, Squall is ridiculously more skilled with his weapon, plus his weapon can, I think, shoot things (was never explained).
But it all just really comes down to this.

Omnislash vs Lionheart. Lionheart>>>>>>>-infinity->>>>>>>>Omnislash. Nah, his Gunblade doen't fire projectile bullets, they'd have nowhere to go if he tried. When he pulls the trigger it just sends a shockwave down the blade making it vibrate, which makes the wound more severe.
