Morgana flicked her tail back and forth as she stood at the edge of the ocean, the waves lapped at her hooves. She looked out over the bright azure water, "it's been a long time since I've been here." She shifted, then stepped back pulling her hooves out of the water, turning she walked slowly down the beach.
Luka wasn't here with her and Morgana could almost feel the cold shadows tugging at the edges of her mind and soul again. What could it be about the stallion that stilled the darkness in her own mind. She paused again and looked out at the see ... "how did I manage to find myself loving a pirate hmm? she tossed her mane and turned back towards the water "why do you try to have a strangle hold on my life mother sea? She walked back into the waves standing up to her knees in the chilly water.
It never occurred to the chocolatey mare that anyone could have been nearby much less heard her talking to herself .. or to the sea.
She closed her eyes and just stood there, letting the water rush back and forth against her legs as the waves rolled by.

Will trotted along the shore, his ponytail flowing out behind him. It had been so long since he had been out without his kids -- and his grandkids, for that matter -- that he was glad for the peace and quiet, the gentle tide of the sea lulling him into a sense of ease.
Then he saw her. A familiar mare, on this same beach, talking to herself. He furrowed his brows in thought, mustache twitching slightly; where did he know her from?
Ah. Now he remembered. Morgana. He had met her before he met his mate Waneta. She had been one of his best friends at one time... how the time had passed.
"Morgana!" he called cheerfully, bouncing over to the mare with a grin plastered across his face. "Long time no see!"

Morgana blinked and looked up when she heard her name, turning slightly she saw him coming her way. A face from her past she would never forget. Hell, life really did hate her right now didn't it? She'd never expected to see him again, almost hadn't wanted too, but maybe it would be for the best.
A smile touched her lips, but it never meet her eyes. The deep crimson orbs were as dark and lifeless as they had ever been. Turning she started to make her way slowly out of the cool water, her hooves felt heavy like they were weighted down with concrete shoes. She trudged out and turned to face him.
"It has been a long time, how has life treated you Will?" Her short tail flicked back and forth for a second.
She flicked an ear towards the ocean, the lapping waves almost sounded like they were laughing at her, f***er. She pricked them back towards him once more and waited for his answer.
