Quick little hooves clicked as he moved across the stony dry creek bed. Slipping out into the open forest range ahead of him..Zuzu had said to meet him out here..He knew she'd be here somewhere.."Zuzu?" he always felt so weak, his father knew how to fight! And his older brother was so strong..a warrior. Pfft, but what about him? Alberon knew he had talents, even if it was simplistic healing, there had to be more though, and zuzu was going to train him. Even if they had to go out and do it in secret..
"Zuzu, if your here th-then..Then I'm ready!" He answered with a cheer that he quickly hushed by clasping his hands over his mouth, excited and nervous all at once. Fearful and yet ready, his little heart tail swishing noisily behind him as he glanced about for his friend. Hands balled into fists at his side as he took a guarded stance, though it was far to hard to keep the grin off his face.

It had taken her all morning but finally the place was ready. In light of recent events, and a rather unexpected change of heart, Suzette had found herself worrying over and over the little Alberon. She knew he was a sweet boy who would never hurt others...but things had become quite difficult lately and the little one needed to learn how to, at least, defend himself. She had found a nice spot by the dry creek, it had taken all morning but she had finally arranged it so they could safely train in there.
The sound of little hooves made her snap out of her thoughts, she had been resting on a tree's branch waiting for him. Ready, huh? she thought for herself, barely containing herself from giggling at the young Phy who had such a bright grin on his face. Deciding it was about time to begin the twilif stood up, calculated the distance and jumped off the branch, aiming for the kid. Let's see how he manages a surprise attack.

Alberon's response was a squeak filled yelp, the sound of a whisking branch was what had alerted him first, unable to pinpoint the noise, assuming maybe that it was a squirrel or one of those night owls. Still it'd caught his attention enough to turn his head, and there before his eyes had been suzu, coming straight for him!!
The phyri finding himself with no time, able to do nothing more then scramble out of the way, stumbling and falling on his rear even as he managed to just barely dodge zuzu's surprise attack. "Z-zuzu!! What were you doing a-all the way up there!" the phyri huffed, glad it was dark so suzu could not make out the bright blush of embarrassment across his face..Startled by something so simple, tsk..and so easily caught off guard!
"Its not nice to sneak up on others!" he pouted, rubbing his face as he picked himself up, and taking a small chance charged his dear friend. His smile slowly returning as he tried to piece back his courage and nerve for this task once more. After all..it was supposed to be a learning experience.

Damned dry tree branch. How ever, a pleased smiled showed in her face but she made sure to hide it away so he couldn't see. The kid wasn't that bad after all..still needed to work hard but he wasn't really bad. she managed to land smoothly on the ground with out making noise and took a fighting pose immediately.
"On your feet! Don't let your guard down." she managed to keep an even voice, she didn't wanted to be to hard on the kid but she couldn't be too soft either. "Other might not be so decent Alberon, you need to be prepared for everything" her green eyes glowed for a second as Alberon charged for her. Good..the kid was learning! with a kick on the ground she jumped a couple of feet in the air evading the little ones charge.
"Good but to slow..." she landed on Alberons head using it to jump into the air once more. Landing a few feet away from him she turned around and rested a hand on her hip. "On your feet! Once more!" she called with a voice that clearly showed she was having fun.

Alberon grinned as he managed to his feet, only managing to keep them for a moment more before zuzu promptly used his head as a spring board, sending him once more sprawling into the dust. "Achk! Zuzu!!" the little phyrifly coughed, pushing himself up once more as he turned on her, beaming with excitement. "I'll show you who's slow, you trickster you" the phyri trying to force down a bubbling giggle as he listened to himself speak. He was so glad she approved of this..of his trying, even if he wasnt so good just yet, at least he was willing to try!
Digging his little hooves in and charging her once more, head lowered and feet quick, twisting his small nub-like horns as he dashed by her this time, aiming to at least brush her..His last attack had been a failure!

The kid was persistent she will give him that. His strength and speed were not as bad as she had initially thought. With a little training he might even made a decent adversary.
By the time she noticed the little one charging towards her it was too late. She tried to jump aside Her reaction was slow and the little horns managed to make a small scratch on her side. Not even a decent injury but Suzette was happy that the kid was learning.
"Good...very good Alberon..." He had managed to kick her..but he was still giving her his back. A grin appeared on her face as she quickly grabbed Alberon's arm with her non-venomous hand gave it a strong pull and threw the boy to a tree. she did not wanted to hurt him badly, but still a little bit of pain could work wonders. "Once more! you are getting the hang of this!"

An apology died on alberon's lips, his instant guilt for hurting his friend slowly vanishing as he was so suddenly snagged. Bright little eyes going ever so wide as he was thrown back, once again landing on his sore rear..
"Suzu! Bah..your too quick" the little phyri huffed, making a small pouting face, rubbing his hands over his sore self as he pushed to his feet once more. Head and tail shaking in unison to rid himself of all the dust and leaves he'd kicked up in his rough landing..Oh mother was going to make him bathe after this! And surely wonder where he'd gotten all his boo'boo's from!
"Ah..Oh..You really think so.." his little feet kicking up beneath him, encouraged by the praise. He honestly didn't think he was getting better at all, always landing on his backside the way he was. But if suzu said so, then it must have been true. "I-If you think that was good, then watch this" he barked in a voice that tried to mimic sternness, but only came out childish. Bringing both of his hands to cup over his mouth, blowing out a small stream of bright pink bubbles, the energized orbs popping all about suzu's form as they neared.
