FAMILY BACKGROUND: thousands of years ago, there was a sorcerer woman in a village named Akahana that was the target of many demons, bandits, assassins, and overlords, they all wanted to gain her immense power. she had the power to control her pure reiatsu, and project it through her voice to purify demons and even ill intentions. she had a darker force inside of her that she has controlled but if anyone ever used that evil force they would be unstoppable.

with all of the attackers coming more by the day, her anxiety for the safety of the villagers caused her dark force to start taking control of her. she knew she couldnt beat it so she killed herself and ordered the village preistess to burn her body and seal the darkness inside of her until she could purify it. But when her body was burned it was not sealed quick enough and her forces (pure and evil) escaped forward in time and were reincarnated. they were supposed to be reincarnated into one child but instead a set of twins were born, so the pure entered the girl and the evil entered the boy.

when Akane and Kohori were children (before they were abandoned) kohori-kun's darkness started to take him over, causing him to get very sick, so much his hair turned silver from the evil. so akane-chan tried purifying him by constantly singing to him and healing him with her reiatsu. when his condition was getting worse, akane-chan gave him half of her purity and she took half of the evil. now both of them had silver hair but their bodies stayed neutral, but it might not stay that way forever. **hint hint**
PERSONAL BACKGROUND : Akane is a very bright, cheerful girl who is very outgoing and loves to help people out when they're in need.

Akane lived a hard childhood being abandoned by her parents and left alone with her identical twin brother, Kohori. As a result of that she lived at many different orphanages throughout her child hood until she turned 12, when her wealthy grandmother learned of her whereabouts and took her in along with Kohori.

She is now rather close to Kohori because while they were in the orphanage, they were all each other had.

She and Kohori now have many friends, (even though Kohori is still pretty shy around people) which surprises her grandmother because during all those years in the orphanage, she was always so cold to people and never socialized unless it was with Kohori.
POWERS : shunpo ((flash step)), and high reiatsu (pure and evil)
HOW DOES THE POWER WORK:[SHUNPO] Reiatsu is gathered around your foot and used to push off, then by using the momentum the reiatsu gives you, you basically fly through the air via "stepping" on bundles of reiatsu you collect.
[PURIFYING]- pure reiatsu is gathered in the lungs and released by singing (can heal injuries, fix disasters, and later she finds out it can even summon spirits)
[THE "DARKNESS"] when her body becomes inbalanced, her evil spirit is released, and she doesnt ever hesitate to kill any bystanders
HOW DOES THE POWER RELATE TO THE STORY: she realized her ability of "shunpo" when she entered sengoku jidai

she has been able to purify since her childhood, same thing with "the darkness" but she has never tried it.

FIGHTING STYLE: she doesnt like to fight if its unnecessary...unless of course one of her friends is in danger then she lunges headfirst into battle without thinking twice about it. her attacks can be used far away and up close.

FAMILY BACKGROUND: His family are a branch from the Kanital Elders. Kanitals are human-like creatures that eat hearts. His father and grandfather are two of the Kanital Elders

PERSONAL BACKGROUND :
Darc is the a grandson of a Kanital Elder so in his childhood he had it pretty well made. He and his younger brother did everything together, played chess and extreme tag on the forest near their home/mansion. As they got older his brother Darcien became jelouse of Darc's skills. He was smarter, stronger and more admired by the family. Darc was next in line to join the Elders, and Darcien wasn't. When Darc, when his appearance was in his late teens, had gone to the city on orders of his father, who is by now an Elder, something had happened that had cause his father to banish him.
The reasons for Darc's outcastment from the Kanital society is unknown. He had moved to a city(name unknown for now) and found an old shack that belonged to no one.

POWERS (IF ANY): turns into his other personality 'Dark' Darc and become stronger and less concerned of other's well fare.
HOW DOES THE POWER WORK (IF ANY): He turns into 'Dark' Darc when the situation could mean death or when his hunger(starves himself because he refuses to eat hearts) become too much, and he snaps.
INTERESTING FACTS: A woman named Sami and a boy named Bug lives with Darc.

PERSONALITY: He's a passive agressive character who is only lively around boring personalities and shy around other extroverts. Chen hates this aspect of himself and that he catches colds.

PARENTS: A hardworking middle class father and a child-like housewife mother who is currently away in Asia, pursueing her long-lost dreams.
SIBLINGS: Seph. His younger brother of four years, who outshines him in academics and his mother's heart.

FAMILY BACKGROUND:His parents are immigrants from Taiwan and for Chen, it's personally hard to deal with the fact that other kids' parents are much cooler and more American than them. But he grew to love his parents, no matter the fact that they speak accented English.
PERSONAL BACKGROUND (at least three paragraphs):
Chen grew up competing with his brother for his mother's attention. Most often losing, though his mother often tells him that she loves them both equally. An easily read lie. He likes to think of himself as his father's son but his father seems to prefer his brother more as his brother is more succesfull and less of a pain than he is.
Discouraged by his brother's superior academics and the fact that the family was constantly moving, Chen's grades were barely skimming the failing line and even then he hated how he wasn't going to do anything to change it. That was because he felt to tired to bother with it and that homework was unnecesary pain to deal with.
Immersing himself with his favorite ball, grayed from the numerous games against the black pavements or gray asphalt, Chen became a slightly above mediocre basketball player. Along the way, he also read a lot of books and improved his English grades through writing projects. Encouraged by the rising scores, he now strives to do better in school and life.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND (at least three paragraphs) biggrin ulcis was was born way back when and in her world they haven't even hit this kind of life style they still live in tiny villages and forests. Dulcis is a summoner she summons weapons at will and uses them at her disposal. Dulcis was born in the worst situation possible her parents had just run away from there home village they were hiding out in the forest. Dulcis killed her mother when she was born and her father never said it was her fault even though they both knew it was in a way of speaking.
As Dulcis grew up she learned the wonderful and not so wonderful parts of life most of which were the worst parts of life her father hid her away and didn't let her go out at all he didn't let her see anyone then after centuries in hiding he finally returned to his kingdom Dulcis was the princess but she didn't want to stay she told her father she was leaving and that is just what she did. The reason she left was because he had set her up for a arranged marriage with a man she barely knew his name was Dung and he wasn't very smart.
Dulcis ran away to the village she resides in now and every day is the same routine most of them don't notice how she hasn't changed in looks and her birthdays are the same every year wonderful and treasured. Dung hasn't given up on her though and continues to pursue her everyday when she goes out to the field to pick flowers. He attacks her keeping her magic up to par with his even better then his he is also a summoner but he summons monsters not weapons. Dulcis doesn't seem to have any feelings for Dung mostly she seems to despise him.
