I was tired of making a new announcment post for every new thing we have added. So I decided to create a Newsletter thread. Since Misha-san and I have alot of ideas brewing in our heads. They will all be posted here, so please do not post in this thread. Be sure to check in here when you notice a new post, because it could be important information relevent to the guild.

December 31st, 2005 I didnt want to add this rule in the beggining so I wouldnt look like a hypocrit, because there are some days when I am too lazy to get online and do anything, but because there are some people joining, just to join has made me. As of January 1st, 2006 there will be an activity rule applied. Those members of the guild who are inactive for a substantial period of time (atleast 1 post per week would be nice), will be warned. If they still continue to remain inactive, they will be forced to leave the guild. I want to thank all the other members who are active and have helped our guild grow and such.

I'm not too sure if anyone has noticed, but we now have an Other Artists Subforum. There you are able to talk, post pictures and other stuff about other JRockers or Pop Artists that you like. It has been open for a day or so. Please have a look.

Congrats everyone, we finally hit 100 members. The time has come that Kiyoshi and I would like to have help with the guild. That means promoting members. I think we were wanting two. One was already decided, the other I thought would be fun if you, the members, chose in a poll from the top five posters. Anywho the person already chosen will be announced in a week when the poll for the other one is finished.
(Edit) I decided now that the top two chosen on the poll will be added.

January 18th, 2006 Its almost time to start deleting the members. There is a little less than 2 weeks till the end of the month. If you still havent posted you need to do it soon. Also, even though I havent talked to Misha-san, most likely we are going to do the promotions this weekend. Now that classes at Governer's School and at the High School are starting up again I will have less and less time to spend on Gaia. It will be nice to have someone else around here helping out.

Okay...we need to start deleting non-active members.
I say the ones that do not post at all.
I looked at the member list and there are plenty.
Oh also Misha-san, could we create a sub forum for the mods only?

Today we have started to delete those nonactive members, so any new members who are requesting to join, you will be accepted once we have finished all of this that way we dont delete you by accident. Also, Misha-san and I have a few contests in the works, and it would be nice to have some more donations because as of now we are going to be giving the prizes from out own accounts.

Sorry we havent been very active lately. I have been focusing on school more lately, and we have also had exams this week. Misha-san and I dont have anything big planned for now, but we would appreciate more activity among members.

Once again we are going to attempt to clear out our nonactive members. If you would like to remain part of the guild, you need to post. Anyone who has a post count of 0 by the end of April will be deleted from the guild. We are starting over, and I will be keeping track of this. Even if you have previousley posted, if you have not made a post by the end of this month you will be deleted.
Misha-san and I apologize that the guild hasnt been very active, we have been pretty busy these past few months dealing with school. Misha-san plays softball so that takes up most of her time, and I have Governor's School and I help my choir director teach choir so Piano takes up most of my time. Things have slowed down, and we both have more time to dedicate to the guild. We would appreciate it if our members would do. We are in the process of thinking of more fun stuff to do, and if you have any requests/suggestions, please post them in the suggestions sticky.

Well, member activity has picked up a little bit, but Im hoping there will be more. Thank you to those who have started posting again, and hopefully we can think of some interesting things to do around here. Since summer vacation is slowly approaching, im hoping more of our members will be able to come back. Now, I have been pondering on whether or not we should purchase another subforum for FanArt or not. I have seen some really good drawings from Chii and Misha, and other members of Gaia. If we had a FanArt subforum, we could possibly have a monthly contest or something like that. Please vote on the poll so I can know whether or not this will be a good choice.

Well, I believe we should have a FanArt Subforum!
We can use some of the pictures in the Picture Post(some of us drew a picture), and that can go in there.
We could also hold a contest, and have the members vote who's picture is the best.
So, this is my rant. ^
I am going to start a contest soon, and it will make one member very happy(or all of them).
By the way, Kiyoshi-kun, I thought you were going to let me control the guild mule?

The FanArt subforum is a great idea. We only need 500 more gold before we can purchase it, and then we will set it up. So everyone start drawing (Misha....finish your drawings, haha), and save them for when we open up the FanArt subforum. It may take awhile to set up becuase I want to run a contest with its opening.

July 16th, 2006 I mad some changes to the guild home page, and also lowered the entrance fee. Be sure to check out our affiliates if you havent already, and try to spread word of the guild. ^_^
