Elliot was fighting for his life, he cursed himself knowing it was his own fault this had happened, the foal had only come away from the herd because it was curious about the stallion following them. If he hadnt been there, then the foal wouldn't have been ambushed by the wolves, he had rushed in to protect the foal and had been in turn set upon by the vile creatures, he hoped that the young one had gotten away but he feared the worst. He struggled with the vicious animals kicking here, striking there, rearing, dodging, plunging, trying his best to get the upper hoof against them, but he was tiring and the wolves kept coming.

Blood was a man who was born with privileges. Since his father had passed he had become head of the notorious 'Hatter Family' and doing so had also become the soul leader of the Hatter Mafia. Since a foal he had trained to do such a job, he had been trained in combat, he had been taught how to be deceiving, he had been taught how to be a leader. Everything he had ever done was to make sure that under his rule the family business would prosper. It was his rule now and he was feeling confident, after all, he was Blood Dupre. No one could touch him. He wondered down the forest path, his cane in her mouth, his steps were grand and strong. His head held high, like he was born royalty, charisma leaked from him. Crystal blue eyes were focused however seemed to have some kind of magical aura to them. Some twinkle witch had some magical quality to them. They were his most noticeable feature. However his over extravagant clothes drew the attention of others from said handsome eyes.
The faint sound of howls and growls could be heard, making him stop where he was. Should he bother looking? of cause he was curious. He changed direction, however he still looked like he knew what he was doing. He was constantly playing a dangerous game, however as long as it never seemed like he broke a sweat, or was even bothered by events. He could bluff his way out of most situations. Not that he needed to. After all his family was infamous. Anyone who went against them must either be stupid or not really care that much about themselves. Sneakily he hid in the shadow of some tree's. Keeping his head down as he saw a stallion in distress. In appearance he was as grand as Blood himself, even though the stallion would never admit it. The other had long gold hair, was dressed in fine clothes and had mutated ears coming out of his head, however for a mutant he did not seem very dangerous. In fact he looked like he was fighting a loosing battle.
The wolves hit the stallion, like they craved his flesh like bee's craved nectar. Blood was not a fool, more than anything he was not a charity. He could help the stallion how ever he thought for a moment in what he could get out of the situation. More so if the life of the stallion was worth risking his own. It took him several moments. He had come to a decision. Saving the life of the stallion would mean he owed Blood. He could use a man like him, of what seemed to be his class and his upbringing, after all not everyone is dressed in such royal robes. He would need a bit of work, after all he was loosing to these wolves, he would need toughening however he was sure a few weeks of combat training would fix that. If after he had saved his life, the stallion refused to listen to reason he would just have him killed, after all nothing is for free. It was this stallions lucky day, not everyone got a invite to join the Hatter Mafia from the head. Lets just hope he knew how special he was.
Any way it looked like Blood had kept him waiting for too long, he then started to analyze the scene. After all he was in no rush. He flicked off his hat and dropped his cane, after all there was no point messing up his fine clothes. He shook his head, cracking his neck as he did and with a determined face he charged towards the wolves. His feet pounding against the floor as he did so. His aura soon changed to that of a freight train. Move out of my way or get hurt. He reared up on his back hooves, letting out a cry before he came down on the head of one of the creatures, his nostrils flaring. However he still composed himself, his movements looked elegant. After all, his upbringing had thought him the right posture for such ordeals. The creatures head popped like a grape fruit. Blood splattering one of his hooves, he looked up at the other male, there blue eyes meeting each other. No words needed to be said, it was obvious to realize why he was here. However the battle was not yet over.

Elliot gasped for breath, it felt like he'd been fighting the wolves forever, when it had probably been only a short while, his wounds bled profusely as he couldnt afford to keep still they kept opening, bucking he flicked one wolf off his back, spinning round to kick another he spied a very elegant looking Stallion, and he knew instantly this was not your average guy, his eyes for one sparkled more than he would have thought in such light as today.
Grunting in pain as one grabbed his hock, the ugly thing was trying to hamstring him, and he backed up and basically... sat on the wolf, crushing its ribs against its lungs, he even heard the pop as its lungs were punctured, getting to his feet he held his back to the rear of the other male, who had joined in the fighting, after something unspoken passed between them.
Elliot fought until he flet like his legs were going to dropp off but still more wolves came ... or were they ones from earlier, recovered and battling again, he hoped they'd get bored soon, that or some miracle happened to force them away. It was if his prayers were answered when the herd he had been following appeared, scattering the wolves, however they did NOT look happy, and instead of heading towards the wolves, they headed towards him "this is not good" he muttered flicking his ears towards their angry yells.

Blood looked on, as well as defending himself, he was keeping one eye on the other stallion, to see how well he was coping with the situation, in some strange way seeing him sit on a wolf amused him. It might have not been elegant and composed but at least it was effective. He looked around him, wolves were creatures who attacked together, a family unit. So when one took a strike at you, chances are another was about to lunge at the same time. So keeping your eye on as many them as possible was the key, studying them and trying to predict there next move so you were one step ahead. One jumped for him, he leaned getting his nose under the animals belly and throwing it into the air. Then quickly bucking out at the one who was trying to follow up the firsts from behind. He flicked his mane to get it out of his eyes before he looked back at the other stallion curiously.
He could tell he was hurt, badly in fact. He knew he would not be able to struggle through this much longer. A shame. To say Blood had put in this effort for nothing, however as quickly as the creatures had appeared they all scurried off, disappearing into the bushes and the darkness of the forest one by one. He looked on slightly confused, however he was never one to complain when situations went his way, even if this blessing was a curse in disguise. He wondered over to were he was before, grabbing his hat with his teeth and throwing it into the air, it landing on his head. He leaned down and grabbed his cane wondering back over to the male. Studying him once more, his eyes seemed to be on something else. So he followed them to see a group of other horses coming there way. He could tell almost instantly that they were not here to help. What a shame, he thought there was going to be a party.
He listened to the male talk dropping his cane once more. "My, my, you seem to attract trouble now don't you." He stated in his usual clam yet cocky sounding voice. Now he was willing to fight of wolves for his benefit but the tables had turned, now there were others who would be able to do much more damage, no matter how finer member to his Mafia this male could be, he was not going to risk his own life to protect someone who he did not even know for sure would join him. After all if the stallion died, nothing would change in the life of Blood. "Well, I never over stay a welcome. If I was you I would keep up. They do not look like they are going to greet you with hugs and kiss's." He stated as he reached down and put his cane in his mouth one more, turning around to face the Forrest. then with a strong thrust of power from his back legs he was off. Clearing a fallen down tree and running into the inky black shadows of the tree's. He looked back, to see if the stallion was even going to attempt to escape.
He knew he was hurt and probably could not keep up with him. However this was a test to see the determination of the other. If he could fight threw the pain by his shier determination to live, Blood knew he would be strong enough to be apart of his team, if he fell behind to hell with him. He was a stranger who Blood thought he was doing a good deed for. However he was not a baby sitter and even though he would try and sway the hand of fate, he would not make it easy for him. Life was a constant struggle and the weak would fall for the strong to prosper, it was what his business was about. He was the anti-robin hood. Taking advantage of the helpless to make sure the powerful stayed powerful. However he was not heartless. In fact out of all former leaders he was very compassionate. He cared for his followers, more so if someone who needed his help came to him, he would not turn them away as long as they will willing to give him something in return.

Elliot sighed, and tossed his head, flicking blood out of his eyes, he noticed the way the other stallion donned his hat and raised an eyebrow, impressed. He took one long look at the herd then looked towards the one who had aided him against the wolves, only to see him dissapearing into the forrest. Taking a big breath to try and calm his shaking body, now that the adrenaline from the fight with the wolves was dissipating, he felt as weak as a newborn foal, fresh out of the basket.
He wasn't about to stay and be confronted with the mob of angry herd members, so he quickly gathered himself up, and bolted after the other stallion, gritting his teeth as his muscles ached, his chest screaming in protest, but he managed to catch the other up, "we...had .. better .... make ...distance..." was all he could manage to gasp as he shot past the well dressed male, not caring where he went as long as it put the angry herd behind him, however, he had to silently admit to himself..... he didnt have anywhere to go to.

Blood looked back, a small slightly surprised smile on his face, he was not doing too bad. However those herd members were perfectly fine so if Blood's quick mind could not think of a way out of here then he was afraid that they would soon catch up to the stallion. He kept running, hooves pounding loudly against the ground. He cleared his mind of other distractions. Listening out for something that might help, first thing first they needed to get rid of these tracks. Then a idea accrued, he heard the sound of rushing water and his eyes seemed to light up. Sure he was displeased about the fact he was going to wet his clothes however bruises to his flawless skin last longer than drying fabric. He leaped over a bush straight into a rushing river. He flicked his head, catching his hat on his cane holding it above the water, no way in hell was he loosing his hat! Looking back for a moment seeing the stallion following he knew that freedom was in their hands.
He started to dart down the river, letting the current carry him because fighting against the current would be pointless and would just slow them down, water slashed however that nose was drowned out by the strong current, at least now they had no tracks to follow, Blood was a master of deception and escape, after all he had been in situations like this before. One disadvantage had come to mind, the river was running water, thus it had to be rushing towards something, no sooner had the thought passed his mind, he saw a drop. The water rushing over the edge. There was nothing he could do besides prey the drop was not too huge. I guess if nothing else this would test the courage of the golden haired stallion. Blood smirked, all he could do was laugh in the face of danger. With one more powerful kick of his hind legs, he was flying.
The drop was not too high, possibly three times ad big as blood was in height, he landed on his front legs, the water rising to his belly, he looked to the side to make sure his hat had not gone flying off. Luckily for him it was still there. He looked behind him to see a wall of water. Wondering over he saw a hiding place. The stallion walked through the veil of cold liquid to see a cave like area. Getting onto the rock and out of the water he shuck his fur. This would do, even if they did follow them, they would never guess they would be hiding here, or if they would be stupid enough to jump of the edge of the waterfall. He shook, water spraying everywhere, he put his hat and his cane down. Man he hated getting wet. He sighed watching his hat droop. Shaking his head. His hair stuck to his face. He walked back to the waterfall. Waiting for the other male of follow so he could pull him in here.
Blood was not tired, he was happy, this plan had gone smoother than he thought and it all seemed to have worked out. His work was not over yet though, he was still to convince the other male to come with him, well the other male had no choice in that matter, this had turned out to be far more work than he first thought. However nothing in life was free he had come to accept that. He just hope his hard work would pay off. The cave was not as damp as you would have guessed, the rock platform in the back was actually dry and light was let in threw the water. However it was shadowed enough so that from the outside you could not see there was a hiding place here at all. It was a lucky find and came in handy here. Rock icicles hanged from the roof and there was a chill. It was not a nice place to hang around, it was dirty and smelled slightly, however this was not a time to be picky.

As they ran Elliots breath became more and more ragged, he was slowing down, but he could still hear the faint crashings of the following herd, the other stallion flew past him and went out of sight. Elliot continued running for his life, he knew that if he stopped, he'd be dead. suddenly he found himself in the light, and he practically fell into a swift moving river. He tried to fight the current at first but soon realised that was futile, his energy sapping quicker than before, so he let himself float along.
A raoring noise filled his ears rather quickly lifting his drooping head up he realised he was headed towards a dropoff, closing his eyes and praying to the Soquili gods as he went over the edge, only to land jarringly soon after at the bottom, stumbling to his feet and getting his head out of the water he looked around, not seeing any sign of the handsomly dressed male from before.

Blood's mind was on the task ahead. Today had been more eventful than he figured. However now he was starting to miss his home. Hopefully today he would be taking a new goon back with him. Goon was a word his father used to use all the time, when referring to any other person in the herd. He had picked it up through spending so much time with the old man. People had always said Blood was everything his father wanted him to be, this reason was because Blood was almost exactly like his father was, the differences between them were very minor. However they were enough to make Blood unique. His mind worked differently to the other leaders who had fallen before his time. His old man had only passed away a few weeks ago, from a illness that made him weaker day by day, Blood did not know what it was, all he knew was that his fathers death was near. So he moaned him before hand. So when it was his turn to lead, his mind would be at peace.
Hatter Hole, the place he lived was a hole in the middle of a field, were the land seemed to open up into a abyss. The only way down was a narrow path, which fell down hundreds of feet if you looked over the side. Blood was still nervous walking down it and he had been doing so since foalhood! Into the walls were many caves. Different caves for the different class's. Blood had his own personal cave. It was lined with treasures that had been in the family for generations, silks from Asia. Gold from lands near and far. Many different artefacts, it was like Aladdin's cave. In his cave there was also a hot spring where he likes to bathe at night, in the walls shone precious stones. It was a sight. It was his home, he was rich and knew of only the best. However he could not help but feel something was missing in his life. Of what that was yet he had no idea.
Blood waited, then after several moments he saw a figure come over the edge. Blood and sand! the chap had made it. Good on him. With a smirk Blood jolted forward grabbing the male by his clothes and with one powerful tug pulling him behind the wall of water and into the cave like area. Blood moved himself out of the liquid, onto the dry platform at the back, shaking one more time before laying close to were he had laid down his hat and staff. His crystal blue eyes looking back at the stallion. Examining his golden hair, to the lizards that were painted on his cloth. "Well, well." He stated, his voice a whisper however the cave seemed to make it echo, it sounded quite sinister in fact. "That was eventful. My name is Blood Dupre. My friend are in my debt. Now that I have gifted you life. I wonder if you would be so very kind as to hand your life over to me." He stated in a cocky upper class tone. Waiting for the other male to respond to his proposition.

Elliot stifled a yell as he was yanked backwards, through the waters flow, his eyes flying wide open as he took in his surroundings, eyeing the stallion i front of him he thought that he was very clever, he sighed and sagged a little, using the wall to hold him up, his wounds leaking onto the cave floor, migling with the small puddles of water. Closing his eyes as he tried t calm his breathing, it would do no good in the state he was in at that moment.
Elliot's eyes flung open at the others words shivering a little at the echo flying around the cavern, he thought it over wieghing up the pros and cons, the pros .. shelter, a home, protection .. cons ... death if he didnt join, and death if ever left the herd, it seemed a pretty simple decision, but Elliot like to mull things over ALOT. It took some time for Elliot to answer him "Ok Blood Dupre, i'll join the herd, it seems i have nothing to loose and everything to gain" he moved towards the other, holding out a hoof in the gesture he had seen humans use alot between associates "I'm Elliot Hare"

A smile came onto the face of Blood. "Oh good. You already know of my herd. I am flattered. Well Elliot Hare, welcome to my team, you may call me Boss. Now we shall wait here until we are sure the others have given up hope of finding us, then I will take you back to your new home, you will not regret this move." His strong voice echoed through the cave, Blood lifted his leg, wrapping it around that of the other and shaking it. He was also familiar with this gesture. When his father was in meeting he used to do it all the time. A sign of agreement, of the fact that a deal had been made. The males eyes met each other and the beginning of a new chapter in the life of Elliot Hare had begun. One with the Hatter Mafia, a very tightly knit group which many people dare not get involved with. A herd which specialised in doing not so nice things for wealth and power.
(( I actually think this is a nice place for this RP to come to a end. ^-^ It only needs to show the reason why Elliot joined. I will start the group RP as soon as the one with Carmine finishes. ))
