Why is it that people feel the need to rewrite the game itself and make up parings that would never, ever happen? In my opinion here, anyone who thinks that Squall should be with Quistis has serious family/incest issues. I say this souly because everyone overlooks the fact that:
1) They grow up together in the orphanage together, with Quistis taking the role of an older sister to him. This relationship then carries on throughout the rest of the growing up in the garden, and into Quistis' role as Squall's teacher at one point.
2) During the game itself, the way the two interact with each other shows a brother/sister relationship the whole way. ninja

lol zell and zell? Doesn't zell have a girlfriend? lol and I disagree with you about seifer and quistis pairing up...I don't feel that they are right for eachother but that doesn't mean she belongs to squall either and also I think Seifer's a little bit of a jerk

I would think Zone has a better chance with Quistis (or at least one of her fans) anyone other than seifer heh I just don't feel that hes right for her, I can imagine in the future them being together, with seifer asleep from drunkenness after beating and yelling at quistis a bit

Well, I did not do my pairings by just closing my eyes and seeing who's picture my mouse landed on. I do have some reasoning behind my ideas.
Quistis and Seifer:
During the closing FMV of the game you see, for the first time, Seifer laughing. Seifer was never really evil, more so misguided. It was because of the movie Laguna made that made Seifer dream to become a Sorceresses' Knight. Seifer thought that he could achieve his dream by being with Edea. However, I believe that it was his delusion, and the corruption of Ultimecia, that caused Seifer to become what others preserve as evil.
With that aside, both Seifer and Quistis were the oldest in the orphanage group, and thus matured the fastest. Along with acting more the adult in situations. Both I feel are protective and kind hearted, and with these qualities I felt that Quistis and Seifer may find themselves in each others arms.
Zell:
I don't recall Zell having anyone in his life both during and after the game. I do remember during the credit's FMV Zell chatting up a girl about some heroic thing he did, (probably the fight with Ultimecia) and then choking on a hot dog. And during that scene with Quistis and Selphie helping to save his life, the girl slowly backs away from the table, and then finally runs off when Zell turns on Quistis and Selphie (And then throws his half eaten dog at the camera).
As for my saying that Zell would end up being alone stems from his actions here. Zell is very energetic and sometimes abrasive with his attitude, even though he means well. I just can't think of any character that Zell's personality would be a good fit for aside from Fujin, but I think she'll end up with Rajin in the long run.
Zone and Ellone:
I really couldn't think of anyone for Ellone, my first idea was to say the Captain of the White SeeD's. However, then I remembered that Zone was now traveling on board the White SeeD ship. This would give them time to build a friendship and possibly a relationship.

maybe so and I do respect your reasoning and I know seifer was never really evil but in my opinion he still is kind of a jerk, also Squall seems to be a bit more mature than seifer himself is, In the beginning of the game Seifer scars squall purposely during training, does not respect uniform code and he doesn't make the best decisions.....also to others like ultimecia, he is a child...who doesn't know exactly what to do on his own, unlike Squall who seems to respond to every situation with quick action and calm yet swift decisions (I like how he slashes at a guard when jumping off from some kind of building, then almost instantaneously jacking a car and ramming it into the gate to finish edea off after the original plan had failed...it just seems like no matter what happens he knows the best course of action to take

I think Zell does see and talk to someone in the game, during the game in....................(I forgot the name of the town wow) the beach town uh...zells hometown basically (oh I know what it is I just forgot its name) in that town if you stay at the hotel there theres a little scene zell has between a girl after resting in the inn, you can't make out the conversation completely but the girl gives her one of zells fighting magazines

I agree with Seifer and Quistis being a good couple.
If you haven't, I suggest reading a fanfiction called Fire and Ice. It is a very well written fanfiction that isn't just "hey I'm going to pair these two together!" It's in character, has an actual plot, and slowly develops the relationship between Seifer and Quistis.

A part of me is slightly drawn to the pairing of Seifer Almasy and Sorceress Ultimecia.
Don't freak out. I'll explain.
See, I don't see either of them being involved romantically (and if so, it could possibly be misguided and one-sided on Seifer's behalf), so this relationship would be physical if anything.
Seeing as Seifer considered his "romantic dream" to be the Sorceress' Knight, I could see him possibly gaining a bit more feeling behind it, even if it would be slight. I know that seems a bit wrong seeing as he was Edea's Knight but they made it clear during Disc 3 (when Squall was taken into Rinoa's past by Ellone after evacuating the Lunar Base) that he knew that Ultimecia was the one he was serving and protecting.
As for the wicked sorceress herself, she's a wrathful woman so I doubt she can harbor love for anyone, but I could see her being the type to use him for her own pleasures just as she used him to do a little of her dirty work (you know she can't be wearing a dress like that for kicks and NOT expect something of that sort. xd ) Unfortunately, for her, she'd have to receive such pleasures through the body of another sorceress, which is a hinderance all together (not to mention a little creepy/disgusting considering her vessel was Edea/Adel. The only way it wouldn't be disturbing is if she used Rinoa, but that causes problems unimaginable. xd )
That's just my little theory behind it.

I think that pairing quistis with any of the main character in weird because they all grew up together so they would be like brother/sister. I think my favorite pairing is squall/rinoa
