That Saturday night was a surprisingly quiet one at the big ol' supermarket that was near the gang's shared apartment. As such, it was the perfect night for a certain pair of toddlers to wander off and give their father a heart attack once again. Gabriel currently had a tight hold on his brother's hand and was leading the other male through the maze of different things: Snacks [which he wanted so, so, so much], clothes, and then gaming devices.

Finally, the two of them reached their final destination: The television section. There, the boys found a large array of televisions, all synchronized to be playing the movie Ice Age. Already, it was a good twenty minutes into the movie, but that didn't halt Gabriel's excitement for one minute. The poor thing what with his shabby clothing, which was beginning to honestly make him look homeless, and the smell that emanated from both of the boys, it was usually a sad enough sight to see them so fascinated while sitting in front of the televisions that no one ever had the heart or the soullessness required to kick them out.

The long haired twin wondered off from her male parental and sister, to go to the television section. She liked watching the discovery channel on the large flat screen high definition TV. The television colors are amazing and made viewing worth watching. She didn't like shopping since she only cared about the items she truly needed, all the other frills meant nothing to her.

Of course as soon as she got to the tv's, she saw two little boys watching a children's movie. She walked up to them "this show is unrealistic" she stated. She walked in front them squeezing herself between the boys and the tv. She scanned the boys “You’re like me" , she said to the wrath child "Sadly you don't have a better half" meaning abstinence. She went on about the show talking about how an ice age couldn't happen and how she felt flooding was much more realistic. She then went on to educate them about the benefits of watching the discovery channel over 'Ice Age'. " Sooo please allow me to change the movie to the television or move to another show case" she politely ended her statement.

Damien blinked in surprise as the odd girl appeared, having been completely engrossed in the movie playing on the many screens. To be honest, her matter-of-fact demeanor was rather intimidating, and the Humility boy half-hid behind his brother as she went on about 'realistic' and 'accurate'. It took a few moments for the toddler to actually understand what the large words meant, but once he did, his jaw dropped in dejected surprise. It... It wasn't real? Bu-But it was funny; he actually liked the movie and it was just lying? Frustrated and confused, the boy began crying quietly, biting into his lip harshly.

In all honesty, Gabriel didn't really even want to pay attention to something other than the movie. Patience being as it was, he did what he could to pay attention solely to the movie. However, it was shortly after that that the girl claimed that Damien didn't have a better half and he turned suddenly, looking offended. "'Scuse me! I'm his bettuwr hawf!!" he stated, then listening to what she said, not understanding a word of it. His ears and headwings tipped back in upset and he frowned softly, looking at the movie and then gasping when he noticed the tears on his brother's cheeks. Wrapping his arms around the boy with little regard for his safety, he frowned harder at the girl. "Yeah, wull... wull... dis movie's bettuwr!!"

The weakness the males showed made Temperance feel no sympathy "You make no sense, and crying over a movie is truly silly" she glanced over to the other tvs "There is more TV's with DVD players, goo there and watch" she said. She turned back and grabbed the remote next to the tv. " I am wasting time , and I would like to watch what is on tv" she nodded her head.

It would suffice to say that Gabriel was very unhappy with this girl for upsetting his brother, however silly those tears were; Damien did a lot of silly things, and this was just one of many. In all honesty, faced with most people that Damien knew at this point in his life, they would all know that his upset was truly something not to concern themselves with, and knowing the young wrath spawn, he would get over it and honestly just feel guilty if anyone had bothered to worry over his own unhappiness. Pouting a bit, Gabriel sloppily rubbed away his sibling's tears with green-tipped fingers before hugging him, an action that was as stupid and foolhardy as it was brave and kind.

Lengthy, green-tipped ears flicked back as did the small, shredded wings atop the prideful male's hair, and he looked the female over for a quite moment. She looked like his brother, so she was right about being like him, at least. Dejected, his butterfly-like headwings fell limp, and he looked between the two for a moment. He was used to having to fight his brother on things, but Damien always gave up really quickly; he wasn't sure what to do when someone continued defending their argument and, even so, it wasn't as though they could go 'home' and watch television there. It seemed to him that the both of them really didn't have an option.

"U-um... 'tay, I gess," Gabriel mumbled softly, spiked tail flicking a bit behind him as he gnawed for a moment at his lower lip, finally looking back up and tipping his head to one side. "But, um, do you finks you couwd choose somet'in' 'bout dinosauws owr odder t'ings fwom a wong time ago?" he requested, petting his twin's flippy brown hair. "'Cause ev'n if it's not weaw, me'n'Daminen wiked it an', um, if you t'ink the teebee shouwd be weaw and we shouwd know bettuw, you shouwd hewp the teebee teach us," he explained, nodding firmly. It did make sense, after all!! He was sure that the tee-vee knew better than this girl did, and who knew? Maybe the tee-vee would say that she was actually wrong after all!!

Tempy focused on what Gabriel had to say , she struggled on the words. 'Is that what Bonie says I should sound like' she thought to herself. She has always acted much older than she is. The girl stated " I will watch what ever is on the Discovery Chanel and I don't feel like teaching you anyting" she shut the DVD down with a flick of a button , turned the main Chanel back to cable with one more button.

She then pulled up the tv guide by pushing its button. She stomped her foot waiting to see what number the discovery channel would come up on. Once it did pop up she turned the channel faster than you could blink.

On was a program about native gaians(what we would call Americans) and how they dealt with deadly animals and beings. " I don't think this has to do with large prehistoric reptiles" she struggled on some of the words but it was kind of understandable. She didn't like the word dinosaur , since she learned from a radio show that that is not a proper term.

The wrath girl stayed standing , she didn't like to sit on the floor. She feels its disrespectful and looked bad. Could she be more grown up and boring?

Gabriel's mild irritation, which was to this point stronger than most anger he felt normally, only grew when the female flat-out refused to compromise in the situation. That was not okay. Sure, he was usually the crybaby and Damien was usually the one who protected him, but he was certainly good enough to protect his brother when he had to!! Stomping to his feet, large talons tearing into the carpeting, he glared daggers at this female who dared act as though she was more deserving of anything than the twins, something further proved wrong by the fact that she was being a total-- a-- oh, he didn't remember the stupid word for it, but she was being mean and horrible and didn't deserve television at all!!

Not even bothering to give any kind of a reasoning, simply filled with more anger than he'd ever known before [which wasn't honestly a lot, but his patience wasn't genetically able to get much thinner than it was now], the pride child stormed over to the television that Tempy was using, reaching behind it to yank the cord out, causing the screen to go blank. Following that, he did the same to the rest of the televisions in the entire area, except one small one that was still playing Ice Age, where he directed his brother.

"Wull if we can't watch teebee that we wan'na watch, yer too stoopid to watch it eithew!! A'sides, you prob'wy got stoopid pawents wif a house that couwd buy you youw own teebee whewe you can watch aww da stoopid, awful, stoopid shows dat you wan'na watch!!" he ranted angrily, unable to bring himself to actually yell, simply glaring at the female through the tears that almost immediately gathered in his blood red eyes.

Temperance being use to her sister doing the same thing waited for him to storm off. She then turned to a worker "May I plug in the tv" she asked nicely. The lady must not have seen all the TVs turn off and just robotically said "Sure". Once given permission she plugged the tv back in , went through all the steps and her show was back on. She stayed standing taking in the gore she was watching. A man just stabbed a big tiger like beast with a huge pointed staff. They slow motioned the stab , and you could see the wound opening up in full detail.

"Hmmmm" she blurted out loud. She got out a pen and note book. She drew a stick figure , an almost pointy thing and a sad face. To her this meant 'things that are sharp hurt'. She also drew something that almost kind of looked like Gabe , and then tried to write "Others Can Be Wrath". The page she was drawing on was already dated thanks to her guardian.

She looked at the other boy "Sorry , if ...." she huffed " If I upset you or your brother , I know how hard it can be with sibaalangs" she meant to say siblings but the word was to hard. She wasn't going to change the channel , but she was sorry for making things rough between him and his brother. She went back to noting things down , or trying too.

Gabriel's entire body practically vibrated. He had never in his life known what it was like to feel anger toward anyone, and being as small and normally-patient as he was, the anger that he felt was overpowering in a way that he didn't understand. His green tipped fingers tensed before balling into fists. His brother was usually the one to get like this, the one to get angry, the one to protect him, not the other way around. But he supposed that it was okay. Damien always defended him, so why was he unable to defend Damien? Exactly; he was completely able to defend Damien!!

As the female turned the television back on, that anger of his got the best of him. Using all of his minimal strength, he stormed over to the television, reached up to hook his fingertips over the edge of it, and yanked.

CRASH!

Many of the employees looked over to where a confused-yet-unhappy looking toddler was standing over the wreckage of not just one television, but two, the second one having falling over in the heavy displacement of the shelf. Tears were pouring down his tan, green-speckled face, and he looked around to the people, people who were glaring, unhappy, angered by what he had done. People who were angry at him. The tears, then, were only moreso as he ran back toward his brother, grabbing his hand and tugging, though he didn't hold it - he simply ran.

To be honest, Damien wasn't that upset anymore. It had mostly been the initial shock of someone coming and not only disliking the cool Ice Age show, but trying to make it that he couldn't watch it, that had startled him to tears. Still, now that he was crying, it was hard for him to stop. He sniffled pitifully to himself as he curled up into a ball in front of the televisions. As he watched the more-real show the mean girl wanted to watch, he grudgingly began to at least grow neutral towards it. It was kind of like Ice Age, if not more boring. Slowly, he began to unclench his limbs, two-toned eyes drinking in the pictures on the screen. Maybe this would be fun too...

CRASH.

The noise completely surprised Damien, just like it, no doubt, surprised everyone else in the store, and he yelped in fright. He scooted back from the noise reflexively, watching with wide eyes as Gabriel stood near the wreckage. What had his brother done...? But there was little time for thinking as Gabriel, with tears in his eyes, darted by him. Without a word, Damien was quickly running after him, the two street kids accustomed to fleeing from scenes of trouble. The boy didn't waste breath on questioning his brother; it was more important just to get away.

Tempy had already left before the tv crashed. You could thank Veronica for her keen sense of bad things about to happen. She saw the mad glare in Gabriel's eyes one her sister would have, and she could feel the anger at the TV. She quickly moved into the cd's. She heard the crash and flinched. Tempy looked around as workers came to the scene. Not a single person looked to her. So she went through the cds , almost forgetting the incidence. She found a cd cover that was rather odd , a naked flouting baby in a swimming pool reaching for money. "This is silly , why would a baby want money?" she asked herself. She peeked over to the tv, nothing good was coming from that so she went back to looking at cd covers.

Basi and Veronica met up with her a few minutes later. "What happened over there" her male guardian asked. Tempy looked up at him "a kid knocked down the tv’s" she then showed him the cd cover, asking about it. Basi knew nothing of the cd cover but made his best guess "Its might be a metaphor showing we are born with traits such as greed from an early age" he nodded. Tempy noted that down , even drew the cover. It was a stick figure just smaller and chubbier.

Veronica was almost envious some kid got to knock down a tv and she didn't. She kept bugging Tempy for more info but the long haired twin didn't have much to say " A boy got mad knocked it down , nuff" she stated. Veronica would try to get more info throughout the day with no such luck. Basi kept telling the girls “You better not try something like that , since I would have to pay for it , and things like that have big consequences. Tempy kind of felt bad , but her logic told her that ‘everyone has a choice’ and she didn’t chose to act the way Gabriel did , and he was at fault not her. She noted her feelings and moved on.
