A simple apartment. Consists of some cardboard boxes, two cots, a small kitchen, a kotatsu, a flatscreen tv hanging on the wall, and a bathroom.
"I haven't found sensei yet but I think I've got a good lead now," Reed stretched, laying an extremely old piece of wood on the ground. The piece of wood was none other than the one used to impale Vlad Tepes', better known as Dracula's, head. "This Holy Grail War... if I don't meet sensei in it, I should be able to find another lead on her from the other mages.
Reed moved the Kotatsu to the side and folded up the cots. He took out a piece of chalk and drew a magic circle. "To stabilize the ritual," he muttered to himself, "So my spell doesn't blow up in my face."
It was ready now, Reed placed the hunk of wood in the middle of the circle and stepped back.
"Ye first, O silver, O iron
O stone of the foundation, O Archduke of the Contract
Hear me in the name of our great teacher, the Archmagus Schweinorg
Let the descending winds be as a wall
Let the gates in all directions be shut, rising above the crown, and let the three-forked roads to the Kingdom revolve.

Five perfections for each repetition.

The incantation was complete, a massive, blinding light filled the room and Reed looked towards the center for his servant...

As the light took a solid form, a girl appeared in front of him. Her midnight black hair was held in a low ponytail and her cold eyes peered at him. They were a strange colour, a bright reddish colour, although she was not an albino. She was dressed in thick metal armor, which normally would have made her appear to be a guy, but the front part of it was cracked open, showing the curves of her breast.
"Servant Lancer reporting for duty," said the red eyed girl, her eyes not directed at her new master, but at the floor. She was ashamed to be seen in this state, and was well aware that a woman was not what he had been trying to summon. it never was. They wanted the true Vlad, not Viladi the Vlad of some bazaar alternate universe. At first this fact had infuriated her, but she had grown to accept it. She was good at adapting to these sort of things, seeing as this was only her second summon. But this was not the time to be caught up in her own thoughts, she must act out her part as servant and great her master.
"What is your wish, my master?"

Reed was surprised. "That's odd," he turned around and scratched his head, flipping through his reference book, staring at the big-nosed, big lipped Vlad the Impaler. He was confused to the point where he didn't even notice the command seal form on the back of his hand.
"Which means one of two things, either my spell failed or I pulled an Arturia and I didn't fail," Reed turned back to face her, "So which is it? Are you or are you not Vlad Tepes?"
"And also, I am your master, Glaive Reed, you may call me Reed if you so choose."

"I am Viladi Tepes, also known as Vlad. And yes, I am well aware you weren't expecting me, I got enough of that from my last master," said the lancer, her comment somewhat sharp and cruel. "Also, I will most likely refer to you as Reed, seeing it is easier to memorize and to call out in the middle of a battle, unless you are skilled enough to communicate using just your mind."
strange as it was, Viladi didn't treat her master like he was above her. as far as she was concerned, he was on the same level as her and she could treat him as such. her last master had been that way, so to her every master would be.

"I suppose so Lancer," Reed smirked as he erased the magic circle and placed the stake shard back into its box. He had been borrowing it from a friend of his and was going to ship it back later, "I can already tell that we're going to have some incredibly awkward moments, can't you?"
Reed set the cots and Kotatsu back up. "Alright, I have no clue who the other masters or servants are, but if we meet them, here's how it's mainly going to work." Reed sat down by the Kotatsu, "When we engage in a battle, you'll strike first and I'll support you from behind with my floating starmines." He pointed a finger and a tiny blue ball of energy appeared and burt, making a small boom. "I can make them bigger too but that's probably not such a good idea."
"If you can defeat the enemy or find the master, by all means, do so, but if you can't, you'll have to make an opening for me to take out the servant. I can probably kill a servant with just my raw power but I won't be able to defeat one without help. Sound like a good plan to you?"

"Understood. But do I have permission to use my Noble Phantasm when I deem necessary? Or will you be the one to decide for me?" asked Viladi as she stepped out of the area that the magic circle had been in. Her eyes gave of a perpetual light as she examined the ball and she gave off a little nod. The servant wasn't one to ignore magical ability, not matter how weird it was. And that orb thing of his seemed quite bazaar. At this point, she finally made sense of the final part of the statement.
"You underestimate me, Reed. I am one of the more powerful servants, and should be treated as such." said the servant, her head raised proudly in the air. It became aware to her that this male didn't understand the difference between masters and servants. Servants were supposed to fight and kill other servants, while masters supported them from the sidelines. She wasn't the supporter, he was.

"Use your noble phantasm as a last resort. It's probably actually a good thing that you are female, no one will suspect who you are," Reed stood up, "I'm not underestimating you, I happen to be a mid and long range attacker, my combat spells are designed solely for offense and I don't have any defensive spells other than the basic reinforcement spell."
"Also, it doesn't matter if you're a stronger servant, I heard in the last war that Saber managed to kill Berserker despite Berserker being the strongest servant in that war. From what I've heard, berserker wasn't holding back either, even if you possess overwhelming strength, a single well placed move from your opponent can completely change the tide of battle," Reed had done some research on the last war, having managed to obtain information from a number of sources, "The basic plan is that you attack and I support from a few meter away with my starmines. Alright?"
Reed walked to the door, "For now, we'll scout the general area, follow me in spirit form and be prepared to engage the enemy if they decide to attack."
Sensei, where are you?

"Understood," Viladi practically growled out as she switched to spirit form. She was starting to dislike this man. He thought more of himself then he should and thought far too little of her. his logic was so backwards that she felt like screaming, but she was a loyal servant, so she wouldn't challenge her master.
