"NO. I DON' WAN'NA, I DON' WAN'NA, I DON' WAN'NA!!" the pride demon yelled, making his point abundantly clear as he stomped one of his taloned feet on the ground angrily, arms folded across his chest as he glared daggers at his guardian, the man who was trying to force him to sully his hands by picking up cans along the side of the street. See, Damien was a lucky boy, Damien had his stupid long claws that he could use to stab the cans and put them in his garbage bag, but because they didn't have any gloves, Gabriel had to use his HANDS.
"Gabriel, would you ple-"
"NO, I'M NOT GON'NA DO ET!!" the toddler yelled once again, at which point Fifth threw his arms up, surprisingly actually losing his temper at the boy for the first time since he'd had these two children forced upon him.
"You know what? Fine. I'm going to take this piece of rope, and attach you to that tree so you stay right here until we come back, and when we do come back, you are getting our leftovers for dinner, because that's APPARENTLY what you want if you're going to behave like this!!" the man snapped, pulling out the piece of rope that was going to be cut up and used to tie garbage bags together. Instead, he picked up the now-crying toddler and tied it around his waist, then tying the rope to a low tree branch.
Sighing softly, Fifth frowned at the little boy, trying to keep from being soft and too hard. "We'll be back in an hour to take the cans back. Take that time to think about what you've done, okay?" In retort, Gabriel only cried harder.

About 10 minutes after Fifth had walked out off, a tug came on Gabriel's rope. At first it was too light to merit much thought, could've been a squirrel running across the branch. The 2 after however, could have almost pulled him off the ground. Looking up however, gave no clue into what might be causing the tugging.
Bleez found it odd that anyone would tie someone else to a tree. She'd been far too high to hear the conversation however. When Fifth had started walking away was when she'd started making her decent. She huddled on a branch, watching the spawn below her before finally getting bored with the whole "stalking" thing and decided to try getting the crying one's attention... sorta.
Realizing that she was pretty well hidden, Bleez dropped down from the tree, landing near Gabriel, probably too close for his comfort, nevermind the surprise factor. "Yer.really.loud."

Gabriel noticed the first tug, but was a little too busy crying like the toddler he was to care. When the second and third one came, they pulled squeaks forth from his mouth, but didn't quite halt his crying. As a matter of fact, they didn't stop his crying at all. If anything, he only started crying even louder at the fact that the knot on the rope had gotten tighter and, though it wasn't about to leave serious ligature markings or anything, it was still hurting him. But he, of course, thought that it was just fate out to get him and had no interest in looking up for the real cause.
When the female dropped out of the tree, Gabriel actually did scream in surprise, scrambling backward until he was pressed against the tree, still sniffling as tears poured down his green-freckled face. When she told him he was being loud, he hiccoughed softly and rubbed a grubby sleeve across. "Yes-s I a-am," he stammered cutely, pouting at the girl, his headwings pressed back against his hair. "Why'we you hewe?"

Bleez stared at the toddler in disbelief, what an odd question. Obviously, she was climbing the tree that he was currently tied to. "Psh," she hissed, letting the air escape out of the side of her mouth with the fang on it. "I.was.climbin' the.tree. Duh." She pointed at the tree he was tied to, starting at the bottom and raising her hand so she pointed up towards the top.
Dropping her arm smoothly into crossing both arm in front of her chest, she looked poised to give the toddler a verbal lashing. In truth, she was a little irritated that he wouldn't stop crying, never had she met a spawn with that much waterworks. "Stop.yer.cryin'. Cryin.don't get what.ya want." She huffed, deciding to strike a deal, "Ya.stop and.I'll untie.ya." She figured it'd be a good deal, it didn't seem like Gabriel could do it by himself.

Gabriel was used to being stupid - he did live with his brother, after all, who had an affinity for being a lot smarter than he was. This wasn't something that the boy would readily admit, but he would allow himself to accept it as fact, at the very least. He continued to sniffle sadly to himself, tail flicking back and forth behind him as well as hitting at the rope sadly, as though it would somehow break with the small, gentle prods.
"Why wewe you cl-cl-climbin'?" Gabriel questioned, not understanding the simple logic that was implied - it seemed that the girl had just wanted to climb, but the Patience spawn didn't really understand just doing things for the sake of doing them. He needed a reason, even if it was as simple as 'to make me look cooler', just not 'because I wanted to' or 'because I felt like it'. Something else.
He glared when he was told that crying wouldn't get him what he wanted. "Nuh-uh! Daddy aways gets me fings when I cwy!" he stated with a slight hint of irritation, as though the girl were questioning his methods. When his freedom was mentioned, the Pride child pouted and huffed quietly to himself before holding his breath for a moment and settling his tears, looking up with red eyes toward Bleez once he'd stopped for the most part. "'Kay, now lem'me go?"

"Why? 'Cuz.ya can.see.more da.higher ya.go." She pointed up the tree and gave a wide sweeping motion of her hand, indicating she'd been looking out over the whole area.
Bleez eyed the younger spawn critically. She NEVER got anything when she cried, granted she never tried it... nor did she cry much, if at all. Either way, the kid had stopped crying, so a deal was a deal. Bleez took hold of the rope and fidgeted with the knot. It was a good one, no wonder Gabriel couldn't get free. After a little tugging on the knot it released its hold and set the little one free.
She stepped out from behind him and looked at him, crossing her arms once again. "Wha's yer.name?"
