Memnoch was sitting upon his throne within the palace of Hueco Mundo, he stood up awaiting a foe.

Keine entered the gate into the lord's throne room. She stretched as she walked and yawned. She then leaned against a pillar, crossing her arms and spoke to Memnoch, "Well Memnoch, all of the kids have gone out to play elsewhere. How about we have some fun ourselves? Should be a good chance to show each other how much we've grown~♪"

Memnoch stood up from his throne, looking at Keine, he spoke with authority, "So be it, just realize this though, victory in itself, means nothing." He stepped down the stairs that led to his throne. He took a defensive stance and awaited Keine's attack.

"Fufufu, looks to me like one of us is not serious enough." Keine remained casual in her voice, still not yet taking the upcoming battle seriously. She flattened out a few wrinkles in her dress and looked back up to Memnoch and continued, "Looks like I'll have to start us off then..." Her smile changed from playful to devious as she extended her arm straight up into the air. She lowered it and closed all of her fingers except her thumb and index finger which were extended straight out, her hand making a gun shape. She licked her lips and spoke softly yet firmly, "....Bang. and her wrist cocked up, making a motion as if a shot was fired. She lowered her wrist beck to where it was and immediately a Cero shot out from her finger. Such a weak attack would do no harm, but it was enough to get started...

Memnoch smiled, he had always known that Keine prefered distance to clsoe range, and for good reason, however an attack like this was insulting. He stepped to the left and looked at her, he thrust his entire right arm, towards her, sending a bala with about 20% of his power into it. This wouldn't do to much damage but might make he reconsider that he wasn't someone she could fight without releasing. "Are you sure that you want to play using that form? After all, a princess should always try her best." he laughed as he spoke, his eyes glowing the dark eerie purple reiatsu that surged through his veins.

Keine opened out her palm to catch the Bala. The impact force was strong, it definitely hurt to catch it, but it didn't do any real harm. She shook her hand the rid of the initial shock and replied to Memnoch, "Hmmmm, I guess you're right. Even so, no sense in seeing how far I can get before needing to release. That is, unless you're trying to make me release right away. In that case, let me speed things up a bit..."
Keine cracked her fingers and extended out her right index finger. She held out her arm and dabbed the air with her finger in five spots in a row as she counted to herself, "Eins...zwei...drei...vier...fünf." She closed her eyes and opened her hand as she waved her arm in the line of invisible dots she formed. Then she finally said softly, "Cero cortina." and immediately five Ceros fired out from in front of her in a curtain, covering the entire space in front of her.

Memoch was astonished, such a unique move. He had never seen anything even close to it. Regardless, he knew that he could easily defend himself from it. Memnoch opened his mouth, a very small, concentrated purple dot appeared, he waitied only moments before firing it. This was his Cero, 10% but still quite powerful, again he repeated this movement, firing two off towards the curtain, the first to soften the impact, the second to destroy the curtain. Memnoch could see he'd need to try harder than this to make Keine release so soon.

Keine groaned to herself as she saw Memnoch charging his Ceros. He was still wasn't really trying. Neither was she, so it's only understandable. As Memnoch's Ceros were firing, she waved her hand downward as another Cero Cortina (five count) was fired, this one slightly weaker than the last.. Once collided with the oncoming Cero, they would merely cancel out, but there would be something extra thrown in. Keine made a gun shape with her hand again, but this time held it firmly with her other hand. She pointed her finger towards Memnoch and fired a large, concentrated Cero behind the curtain which would hide it. Keine refused to use her release just yet, she still had many tricks up her sleeve. After firing her Cero, she extended her arm out to her right and opened her palm. Her lance Zanpakuto emerged from the palace floor and rose into her palm as she gripped it firmly.

Memnoch was already disliking this fight, he had the disadvantage as far as long range went. He decided the best way for him to fight would be closer range. Memnoch disappeared with a boom, as he sonido'd a few feet behind Keine. He drew his zanpakuto so quickly it looked as though it grew out of his arm, he smiled, now holding his left arm out, charging up a full-powered cero, purple reiatsu began to flow out of him as it chagred, finally he fired, this was much different from the two he had fired earlier, it was much larger, and was definately capable of killing an arrancar.

Keine felt Memnoch's reiatsu vanish from where he stood and immediately clenched her left hand. She then felt Memnoch's presence behind her and quickly Sonido'd away as he fired a much larger Cero than before. If that hit, surely she would have died. Either way, half of her current goal was reached; she had made Memnoch draw his Zanpaku-to. He was finally getting agressive, but still underestimating her. Keine's Sonido was the fastest in all of Hueco Mundo and has never been matched in speed by neither Arrancar nor Shinigami. She appeared a safe few yards away from Memnoch and began to move around her left arm. The Cero she had previously fired had stopped mid-flight when she clenched her hand and was now following her arm. Keine leaped up into the air, brought her left arm up, and swung it down, pointing it directly at Memnoch. The Cero swerved up into the air and spiraled down towards its target.

Memnoch smiled, he had known she could avoid it, now this was his fight. He waited for the cero to get directly above him, the slashed directly upwards in the form of an arc with his zanpakuto, destroying the cero, and creating a smokescreen. He hated such tactics, he would need to show a bit more power it seemed. Memnoch stood still as he released half of his spiritual pressure, the smoke disapated immediatly. He had to see her reaction to the power he could now wield, this was only half of his power, but this was generally enough to force most arrancar to release at once, or fall to their knees if caught off guard.
