Trois was sitting idly in his dingy little room, waiting for his newest student to arrive. A soft sigh passed his lips, even that seeming to embody his ever-present French accent, and he glanced out the smallish windows, where the day looked absolutely perfect and a slight breeze was blowing. All-in-all, it looked like it was the warmest, nicest day since winter had ended, and who was he to waste it in here?

With a soft smile coming to his lips, the naga slipped up into a standing-position and began slithering through the halls of the Facility, trying to keep from tripping people up on his length tail. When he reached the outside, he took a deep breath of air and smiled happily. It was perfect outside, that hadn't just been a trick of the light. No less, he had just about everything he would need to teach his class, unless this child had some kind of magic that wasn't elemental. So, the Betzalel took a seat on a bench near the outside of the building and waited for his newest student to pass through the gates.

Fitzroy smiled happily as he made his way to the Facility, swinging his backpack as he headed for his spirituality class. He was rather unsure what 'spirituality' precisely meant; maybe it would be about some special religion thing, since he was half-angel and half-demon. Or something. Whatever, he was just happy on account of the sunshine and warmth that chose to show its face today. He had gotten very tired of having a cold stomach, thank you very much.

As he crossed the courtyard, Fitzroy spotted something very bright out of the corner of his eye. He turned and was both surprised and delighted to see his teacher sitting on a bench. Lord knows he'd been trying to convince his normal teachers to hold class outside ever since the sun decided to taunt him so, so the prospect of having one was very exciting. He rushed up to the techinicolor Eilian with twin grins. "Heya, teach! I'm Fitzroy, and you're Trois, right? I heard about you from Lira; are we having class outside today? And what am I learning, because I've spent all week trying to figure it out, and I don't have ANY idea what spirituality is," he finished with a bashful smile. Caspian had obviously been rubbing off on his son.

Trois was surprised to see the boy, no less to have him know exactly who the Eilian was. However, at the topic of Lira, the male chuckled softly and gave him a smile. His only other student had been quite a nice one, after all, but it was nice to hear that she'd been spreading the word about Trois' classes since then. The tip of his tail flicked and he nodded. "Yes, we'll be having class outside today."

The question about what the class was only earned another laugh and a small smile. "Do not worry about it, the whole 'spirituality' thing seems rather misleading. It is not so much a class that is religion-related or anything that it would... well, normally mean. It's a magic class," he explained easily, patting next to himself on the bench for Fitzroy to have a seat for the moment that explaining came before magic making. "And that is what you'll be learning today."

When Trois mentioned the word magic, Fitzroy's face lit up. That was so much cooler than anything he could have ever expected! His mined immediately began racing, thinking up all the different kinds of magic he could have. The fact that the possibilities were almost endless only added to his excitement.

He darted over to the bench, grinning wide and bouncing. "Holy crap, that's so awesome! I didn't even know I could DO magic! So, so, what kind of magic are we gonna do, huh?!"

Trois laughed happily at how excited his new student was, the tip of his tail flicking just a bit. The male gestured for Fitzroy to follow him, leading the other to a nearby stream for the sake of knowing whether he had water magic, just in case he did. When they reached said river, Trois giggled just a bit, offering the child a seat beside himself.

"Well, the type of magic in specific will be an affinity that you were born into. There are very general and elemental things such as earth, water, fire, et cetera, and there are more specific and simpler abilities. What I will help with is transmitting a higher level of magical energy to you, which will cause you to have a certain impulse. Whatever this is, go with the instinct, and it will usually allow you to do a complex form of your chosen magic, though you will not be quite that talented without a bit of training," Trois explained, voice muddled with his accent as it always was. "Does that make sense?"

Fitzroy hung onto every word that Trois said, his toothy grin staying plastered onto his face. To be frank, the naga could have said that Fitzroy would have to beat a troll in mud-wrestling with only his toes to find his magical talent, and he would have cheered. He couldn't wait to go home and rant at his father about magic, something that would probably scare the twitchy man. Whatever, it would still totally be worth it.

At Trois' question, Fitzroy nodded quickly, sticking out his arm. "Yeah, yeah, that makes sense! Man, I'm so excited, okay, do it, do it!"

At the enthusiasm of the little spawn, Trois smiled, giggling softly behind one of his slim hands, the tip of his tail wiggling slightly in a shared excitement; call it empathy, perhaps. Letting his hand fall away from his mouth, he nodded gently and slid a bit closer to the gutton on the bench. "I don't know, are you sure that you would like me to do it right now?" Trois questioned teasingly, giggling in his soft, snakelike way before shaking his head. "I kid, I kid..."

Gently, he laid one of his hands gently on the preteen's shoulder, letting his jade eyes fall slowly shut. Taking a slow, deep breath, he let the feeling of his own energy ebb from the tips of his fingers and into the boy sitting beside him, coursing through the other as it did himself. "Remember, just do whatever it is you feel you need to. Follow your instinct."

Fitzroy was halfway through a distressed noise when Trois started teasing him before his unnecessary fears were abated before they could fully develop. He stuck his tongue out cheekily as he wiggled his arm towards the naga. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm ready, teach." He nodded as he listened to Trois' instructions, and then let his eyes fall closed, believing that it would help him concentrate.

A strange spark of energy began to worm its way through Fitzroy's veins, and he felt like he wanted to jump and climb the tallest tree in the world. He took a deep breath, and then his eyes shot open, although they were glazed over with green. He looked sharply to his left, where a lowly Tech just happened to be passing through, and he stomped his foot on the ground firmly. A clod of earth sprang from the ground, hovering at Fitzroy's chest level as if waiting orders. The spawn threw out a punch, and the boulder flew quickly to crash into the wall right behind the Tech, where his head had been only a second before. The nerdy human jumped and, after staring fearfully at Fitzroy, darted off to the safety of indoors.

And like that, the fit was over. Fitzroy came back into himself with a shudder, green fading away from his eyes swiftly. He shook his head slightly to try and resettle his thoughts, and smiled his sharklike grin at Trois. "Wow, that was weird. But cool, too," he added with a nod and a smile. He looked over to where the wall was decorated with a splatter of dirt and stones, and he whistled low in surprise. "Wow, did I do that? What does that mean?" he asked the naga, eyes shining with curiosity.

Despite the focus that the transfer required, Trois had no other option as a teacher but to keep his violet eyes cracked open, though those same eyes looked paler than usual, faded and listless as the naga felt when he realized just how quickly the world around him was moving. Such was how it felt to be drained of magical energy. Through the entire process, Trois seemed as though he held no concern for the attacked technician, and no care for anything else that was happening around him at the time. Once the entire situation had finished, he broke the contact between the two of them, an obvious excitement for his student stretching across his scaled face.

“Excellent!” he exclaimed, clapping his hands together with obvious joy for what a talent the young male had possessed. “That’s just wonderful, though it will likely take quite a lot of work for you to get up to that level of talent. What does it…? Oh! It means that you have earth magic; you have control over the ground. Would you like to begin practicing then? I’m sure that we can find something fun for you to start with.”
