B.C.: *would also like to point out he's not sure how to take the fact that an 11 year old was checking him out*
Aidan: its a child crush, its best to ignore it~
B.C.: Is that starting younger and younger already? My, I have been cooped up too long.
Aidan: *arches an eyebrow* mmm being cooped up is not a good thing at all, any particular reason why?
B.C.: *dismissive hand motion, almost primly* Humans, if you must know. All in the past really, it is not good to hold onto grudges.
Aidan: very true. -stretches and gives him a smile-
B.C.: Might I ask for your name, good sir? Terribly rude of me to continue conversation without being proper about it, cooped up or not.
Aidan: well, how bout this, I'll give you a few hints. It relates to your tie. -flicks it and smirks-
B.C.: Aah, at last someone comments upon it! *looks quite pleased as he lifts it up* Very well then, I do enjoy mind games. Let me see . . . Then your name is fire-related? Or are you a demon in disguise, my good friend?
Aidan: -chuckles and winks- depends on the day. -crosses his legs and looks out over the landscape, vaguely relating BC to his brother Kieran. They were a lot alike... -
B.C.: A fine answer! I am not well acquainted with name meanings, but there were books left in my abode that I often poured over. Let me start with A's . . . *pauses to think* There are many variations of Aden or Adan, I recall. Is it one of those? Unless yours is far more blunt, such as Soot, Ash, and the like. Not that you seem to be the type with such a banal name.
Aidan: I like your style, start at the beginning and when you reach the end, stop. -laughs and closes his eyes- hint number two, five letters. -he knew he was just drawing out time because he was bored... well that and he didn't want to go back to hikari's bitching and his kids crying all the time- one hint left~
B.C.: *scowls good-naturedly* What a vague hint, but I will take it. *makes sure his claws are sheathed before tapping his chin with a few fingers* Hmm, if you follow the vein of Aden/Adan, one of the spellings is Aiden. Or Aidan with an A, they like to switch around. "Smoke" is a five-lettered name, you know. *grin*
Aidan: -laughs and claps him on the shoulder- got it. Aidan with a A. Though smoke is worse then Ash... I think I rather like Ash. -runs a hand through his hair- perhaps that will be my demon name. -snorts- and you fellow fire lover?
B.C.: Fire-lover? *chuckles* Ah, I am just a lover for uniqueness, even ties, that is all. Fire is simply a symbol that likes to crop up as I go along. You could say that I am covered in ash myself and have grown found of its distinct feel~ *referring to his black fur, maybe even a hint of some narcissism*
Aidan: -shakes his head- god you remind me of the younger me. I'll call you Ash then. Hello ash, pleased to meet your aquaintence. -He was pretty sure this would irritate the other cat, but being who he was, basically untouchable with the second biggest territory under his thumb, he didn't care. False sense of security much.-
B.C.: The feeling is mutual, Aidan. *If he was annoyed, there was no trace of it in his voice or expression, still politely smiling as ever* You seem to be a knowledgeable soul and, if with the grace of patient, might tell me of the territories created thus far? I find myself irresponsible ignorant.
Aidan: -shrugs slightly and closes his eyes- I only associate myself with a few, so I honestly cant tell you all. My brother is in Nayanman's mansion, I myself am master of the Plaza, The university is for the students, There's the ruins, East, and a newer rogue territory that I don't know much about... other then them being bloody annoying. Its not really ignorance in my opinion, but they are all so tangled I don't bother keeping up.
B.C.: *Ah, he was speaking with a Master! How fortunate.* I sadly must say that I do not know of any of these names, but I appreciate the list. Might I inquire about hte Plaza, as you are its master? A cat alone is not a living thing for long after all.
Aidan: -arches his eyebrow- yes I'm the master of the Plaza, we are a mixed bunch, but we are loyal. If you need somewhere to stay for awhile feel free to make yourself comfortable there.-he lifted his shoulders in a nonchalant shrug- as long as you don't cause any problems. I didn't get to be master by not being able to handle things like that and more.
B.C.: I would not dream of it, sir. *"A mixed bunch"? It hardly seemed organized at all. Tut tut, who was called master these days to reign over such a group?* It would not be wise of me to anger others when I have no other home, of course. A night's stay, perhaps two; I shan't abuse your hospitality.
Aidan: -smiles- well then, welcome to the plaza, though im sure someone like you has other plans and wont be staying long. -he arched his eyebrow- we may be mixed, but we are close, as close as family, so you ash, shall be... -he seemed to ponder this for a few moments- the eldest brother to my sons~
B.C.: Eldest brother? *a little confused, but then takes this in stride with a smile* As you wish, sir. I am not confident in my skills with children, however.
Aidan: to my triplets -smiles- they are quite the handful, their last babysitter left with hallucinations. -grins- not that big of a problem to someone of your caliber right? right. -grins-
B.C.: Hallucinations, hmm? Well, sir, if it pleases you for me to attempt to watch over them, then certainly I will not deny you. *bows head a bit* How odd for you to think of me as a cat of caliber within so few minutes of knowing each other; though of course I am honored a master believes so.
Aidan: This is advice from me to you, its better to overestimate your friends and enemies then underestimate them. You may end up pleasantly surprised either way. -reaches over and pats him on the shoulder before standing- well shall I show you my palace?~
B.C.: *Advice he was fully aware of, but advice he took with a grateful nod nonetheless for Aidan's sake* I would be honored, sir~ Lead the way.
