The fabric store, a place to get... well, fabric. Bleez and Moira were out getting new swatches for outfits Moira was intending to make. Easter was coming up, and she wanted Bleez to look nice for the holiday. Moira was enjoying looking at all the types of new fabrics the store had gotten in, Bleez was close to dying of boredom.
"Muuuuuuummmmmmm, dis.is.so boooooorrrrring!" The usually quick speech of the spawn was interjected with whines.
"Just a bit longer, what do you think of this one?" Moira held out a white patch of clothe with girly pink flowers all over it.
"Ugh! Dat's.sissy!" Bleez wasn't a fan of girly things, much to her mother's dismay. She'd even refused to wear her dresses. She now prefered anything with shorts or pants and NOTHING with pink. She said dresses made it too hard to run around.
Moira sighed and continued looking through the Easter fabrics.

A boy entered about that time, tall and lean with tight black jeans and tanned skin. His hair was short and green and he looked like he'd rather be elsewhere, long tail flicking nervously behind him as he wandered into the store.
"Oh hello there." he said, waving a bit and waiting behind Bleez for a chance to get to the fabrics Moira was looking through - he was on an errand for his Grandfather and out to pick up some fabric.

Bleez leaned her head back lazily to look at who was talking to her. When she saw that it was another spawn, she about toppled backwards. "HAI!"
Moira's head jerked up from the swatches at Bleez's exclamation. "Oh, hello. I'm sorry, did you need in 'ere to look at these? Bleez, c'mere hun." Moira grabbed lightly for Bleez's arm to pull her out of the young gentleman's way.

"Um hi." Shy repeated, blinking at the little girl - or at least he was pretty sure it was a girl. Well she sure was colorful wasn't she?
"Huh? Oh yeah I was gonna but take your time. I'm just on an errand, I don't need them desperately or anything." the preteen assured her with waved hands.

Moira smiled sweetly at the preteen. "If ya need any help, I'm more than welcome to assist-"
"My.mummy.sews!" Bleez cut Moira off. "Do.you.sew?" Her speech was so quick, especially for a kid. "Whatcha.gonna make? I.bets.it's somefun cooooooool! I.like.yer.hair! Green's.da BEST color!" She was obviously way too wound up to be here. Of course, if she had her way, she'd but outside, running around.
Moira sighed. This trip was NOT going to be easy, especially now that Bleez had someone to talk to other than her mother.

"Oh, no thanks though. I'm just here to get something for my Gran." he explained, looking at the fabrics. "I don't sew really but my Gran does."
"Yeah, Green's nice." Shy agreed, smiling down at Bleez. "I'm SHylock. S'your name?"

"Bleeeeeeeeeeeez!" she sang. She bounced up and down, excited to see the other spawn seemed to be interested in knowing about her.
"Bleez," Moira snapped her fingers to get the spawn's attention. Bleez looked at her, a little disgruntled. Moira ignored the attitude and pulled out some fabric that was a patel green color. The texture had little eggs and bunnies all over it. "What about this one? No pink." Moira felt like she'd been at this for hours, when in reality, it'd only been about 30 minutes.
Bleez put her clawed hand on her chin, a thinking expression. Her tail swished from side to side absentmindedly. After a short moment she turned to Shylock and tugged on his jeans as best she could, given they were tight-fitting. "Whatcha.think?" She pointed at the fabric. Surely if this cool guy thought it was cool, it'd be good enough for her.
Moira gave Shylock a pleading look. She really didn't want to be looking for more fabric that Bleez would approve, or more likely, disapprove of.

"Hm, well..." Shy said, looking over the fabric as if considering it very much before holding it up to her. "It'd look okay but you'll need just something in a solid to go with it." he commented. As an almost total nudist, he should not know so much about color and pattern mixing as he did.

"Oh, I know," Moira commented, "I just need a main fabric to go off of first." She looked over the fabric again and then returned it to a position in which Bleez could see. "Well?"
Bleez looked from Moira, to Shy, to her mother again, "Okay!" She grinned widely.
Moira mouthed a "thank you" to Shylock as she put the bolt of fabric into a basket on her arm.

Shy smiled down to Bleez. "I think it'll look very nice on you. Are you gonna have a dress or shorts?" he asked, idly pulling out a soft white fabric and holding it up to her. "This might be nice as a shirt if you do the other fabric as overalls." he commented idly before realizing he sounded like a total Mom.

"Overalls?" Bleez'd never had a pair of those. "What's that? Is.that.a dress? I don'.like dresses!"
Moira chuckled at Shy's question. "As much as I'd fer her to wear a dress on Easter, I don't think it's going to happen. Not anymore, anyway."
"Psh," Bleez hissed, "Sissy.girls wear dresses!" Moira quirked an eyebrow at her, so she added something else, "AND.mums.and.gan'mums! I'm.not.any of.those!" She crossed her arms in front of her chest defiantly. "So.what's overalls, Mr.Shy?"

The boy laughed a bit, "Overalls are like shorts, but they get held up by straps on your shoulders." he said, taking a few pieces of lace and hanging them older his shoulders and pretending to have them hold up a square of fabric in front of him. "Overalls can be long pants or shorts - I think shorts would be okay though - you could play in them but still look nice."
He grinned at Moira, "What do you think about that idea? It shouldn't be too hard to make, I think?"

Bleez thought the idea over. "I.like.it!" She turned to her mother, tugging on the long, pastel sundress she was wearing. "Can.I.have overalls? PLEASE?" The spawn was nearly on her knees begging at this point.
Moira outright laughed, this was new, Bleez wanting something for herself this badly. "Sure, sure." She composed herself to answer Shylock, "Oh, no, overalls are easy, I make 'em for my nephews every now an' then. I'll have to make a few adjustments to the pattern, but no real problem."
Bleez ran around the two and the fixture that was holding all the fabrics, cheering that she was getting overalls for her Easter clothes.

"What kind of little demon spawn are you anyway?" he asked jokingly, looking at the little child run around like a monster. "Silly girl, you'll wreck the display, stop it." he was obviously kidding but lightly chiding too as he looked for the fabric his Gran had wanted.

Bleez stopped and huffed in front of Shy. "I's Wrath.'n.Lib'rality!"
Moira interjected, "I've been told her speed comes from the Wrath DNA."
"What're.you?" Bleez poked at Shylock's leg.
