The newly assigned Lieutenant was out and about surveying the streets like he always did. In the past before joining the Negaverse he'd usually find areas to gamble and comrades to plot with. But for now, he had duties with his newer teammates. He would watch for any signs of these 'Senshi' and do something about them. That in itself was simple enough. Cassius was ready for some encounters and craved meeting one already.

The air was warm tonight and as he walked along the quiet sidewalk, he kept his hands in his pockets and his eyes sharp. So far he hadn't heard anybody else around him. It was getting sort of late and most people were headed inside and ready for sleep. Cassius always stayed up throughout the nighttime. No matter what he was doing he preferred the dark atmosphere to the daylight. Walking around now was no different to any other night, until he heard footsteps approaching him...

Most people would have hid and waited to see who was approaching them. Scozalite didn't believe in traditional tactics. He liked running into the enemy and sizing them up. Plus, what if the footsteps brought a plain pedestrian passing by? It was too early on in the night to be cautious. Scorzalite enjoyed staring at his enemies right in the eye, no matter who it was. It made him pumped for a fight. Soon he'd see who this mysterious person was who was headed in his direction. Oh, how he hoped it'd make the night interesting.

The female was quickly spotted by Scorzalite and he grinned as he saw the most unusual of outfits. If there was one thing fellow Negaversers had explained to him it was the clothing senshi wore. The curly-haired lass approaching him fit that strange criteria, and he felt a rush of energy hit his insides. He would need to finalize his analysis of the gal in front of him, but so far he was eighty-percent convinced she was a Senshi. Hell yes to that.

"Good evening." he finally said in a mellow and convincing tone. "What would a cute girl like yourself be doing this late at night? It's not safe out here you know." His eyes danced to each of the details on the girl and noted the musical notes on her clothing. That must have meant something peculiar and distinct.

He had heard that some Senshi had very skimpy outfits compared to others. It was a pity for him that this girl wasn't showing more skin. Although, he couldn't keep his eyes off of her big blue ones. If all Senshi were female then he'd be a happy camper even if Battles brought great pain and discomfort. "Where are you off to?" He was now holding a very cunning smile as he watched her.

He watched her carefully as she spoke and was quiet until she spun around and described her outfit to him. A costume party, eh? At least she was quick on her feet with her excuses. That showed she had some wit instead of getting all nervous in front of a stranger.

"What if I told you your costume isn't obvious." he then added, while placing his hand under his chin. "And that I don't believe you at all." Scorzalite was always quick to psych whoever he was talking to out. He liked making others nervous so that he'd learn what was really going on and gain as much information as possible. Right now, he needed to know and find her bluff.

"Also, what if I told you I'm not safe. What would you do?" He dropped his hand to his side and chuckled lightly. Would she fight? If she gave no effort, then that meant she was a normal civilian who at least had a Star Seed for him to take.

Either way, it was a chanced scenario, so of course he loved that.

Her reaction was satisfying enough, and Scorzalite laughed as this girl's nervousness became more apparent as she spoke. Hopefully she was realizing the trouble she was in more and more. Instead of pretending and continuing this silly game, Scorzalite was ready to get to business. He wanted to see what Senshi's could do.

"Well, think about it this way. You have two choices. Fight me, or admit your defeat right away." It really was that simple. He wondered what she would choose? Either way, he'd try his best to kick her a**.

His hand went into his pocket very slowly and he brought out two shiny dice. "Either way, I bet you lose." He made his stance ready and prepared himself for what was to come. This was all so exciting and was why he loved the thrill of a fight. He lived for these chances.

"Don't disappoint me." This was also his first battle as a Negaverser. As of now, he had no idea what to expect from the girl. He kept himself in defense mode until the girl would make a decision- just to be safe.

It didn't look like this girl was going to attack him. He figured that meant he should take things to his own accord. So with that, Scorzalite bent over and rolled the dice on the cement. He rolled a five and a three, which brought about an eight. "Well yes, I am." he finally added, while standing up and stretching.

He had different attacks that coordinated with certain numbers, so for an eight he ran forward and spread his arms out wide. His fighting style was sometimes spontaneous and never planned out- but that's why he loved it. It made everything more fun and crazy. "Well, I guess I have to do everything here!" Scorzalite then placed his palms towards the girl and aimed for her stomach.

This wasn't the most painful of attacks, but the girl would definitely feel discomfort when he touched her stomach. It was an old martial arts technique that he always associated with the number eight. It was a good start to their battle because he was interested to see the Senshi's pain tolerance.

Scorzalite wasn't sure if he was just fast or if the girl was in shock, since he was able to reach her quickly and touch her stomach with a direct hit. His palms were aimed perfectly since he was well trained in his techniques. "See, isn't this fun?" he then beckoned, as he watched her reaction.

"I like tricks." He then confessed, while watched her groan at his surprising movement. She seemed to recover from his tactic pretty well, and that made him more sure that she was a Senshi. An ordinary girl would have cried and run away. This was a different level, finally. "I just wanted to make sure you were still here and serious. Why won't you attack me?"

He was confused. This girl didn't seem very aggressive. He supposed all Senshi were meant to be different, with their own unique little nick-knacks and what now. "I have all kinds of games up my sleeves. I just wonder if you can handle them all?" He folded his arms together and continued to stare forward.

"I thought it was a Senshi's job to stop Negaversers. So why aren't you doing your job?" He added a cold smile to his face. "This is disappointing. I expected you to be interesting, but you're not. Guess it's not my lucky day?" He wondered what her reaction would be.

"I think you should do what you want and stop acting so childish." What was she really waiting for? It seemed as though she just didn't want to attack him at all. He supposed it was probably strange for a girl to get in fights and what not. His mentors had taught him that all Senshi truly were different, and to watch out for their strengths and weaknesses. He couldn't read this girl at all.

"This is getting boring." He frowned while digging around his pockets for something interesting. He carried all sorts of cheap things he'd find in sketchy stores. Smoke bombs, firecrackers, anything that could help him make things more interesting. Plus they were always good as escape mechanisms.

He wasn't sure what to do at this very moment- and that was strange. He expected battle-foes to be hungry for the fight, but this girl was the opposite. He wasn't one to preach morals, but it felt strange to attack a helpless girl. Even hitting her in the stomach didn't make her mad!

He bit his lip lightly as he considered the consequences. Sure, he could knock her out, but was that fair? He wasn't one who usually cared about doing what was right, but this was odd. A true battle involved two people. Right now if he attacked her it would be slaughter against one...

"I digress, you are confusing me. Why did you become a Senshi if you aren't stopping me? Isn't that your job?" he paused while chuckling to himself. "Do you even want to be here?"
