JessieRabbit88 (10:47:54 PM): Denali had been out for a walk. Looking for...anything to distract her from her problems at home. She didn't like being there much anymore...it made her sad not having her Chesy there with her. Ichi was doing good at keeping her happy, and company. He was who slept with her when Madness wasn't there, she just enjoyed the company and couldn't stand sleeping alone. But she didn't want many other men or women right now. Having her kits back just made her want to keep her son happy. She sighed, she had been gone for a few hours now, she could go home and see how Ichi was doing. She headed back home and walked up the stairs to the casino and stopped. Ichi was at the bar with..."Chesy!" She said as she paused and looked at them to see if they would disappear.
Ichijou looked up to see the door open and their mother stood there. Oh thank goodness she would know what to do. She looked at him and then at Chesy and froze. She seemed shocked that her daughter was there, which wasn't surprising. She had been looking for Chesy for so long now that she wouldn't know what to think. "Yes mother it is Cheshire." He said with a smile.
"Nik" (11:03:48 PM): Cheshire was all but swimming in her clothing, playing with it while they waited. She'd managed to eat a bit more without a problem, now she was just exhausted and ready to sleep...but she wanted her mother, badly, and she wasn't about to go to bed without seeing her first. So, when she heard the door open, Cheshire looked up from playing with a longer strand of her blond hair and jumped to her feet. Not giving her mother time to think too much, she bolted over to her--albeit balance a little weird with just one eye--and ran into her to wrap her arms around her mother tightly. Cheshire was tiny--blond hair down and messy, still wet from the shower, her nub of a tail flicking this way and that in excitement, "Momma.."
JessieRabbit88 (11:10:59 PM): Denali looked at her in shock as she ran to her and Ichi told her it was her Chesy. She hugged her and Denali fell to her knees and pulled her closer. "Oh Cheshire! Oh goodness i missed you much! What happened?" She said as she got teary eyed. "I was so scared i had done something wrong and you ran away from me! I thought i had lost both my little girls and wouldn't see you again!" She said with a sniffle as she held her tighter and kissed her all over. "What happened to your hair!? Its all short and choppy? Did you get stuck in something? Or were you playing with it and tried cutting it your self." she said with a small laugh as she picked up her little girl and walked over to Ichi. She kissed his head and smiled. "Thanks for keeping her happy while i was gone." She said with a smile.
Ichi watched her run to their mother and hug her. Denali dropped down into the hug and started crying. She had done alot of that as she looked for Chesy, and wondered if Madness would come back soon and see his daughter, and what he would do to his sister for kidnapping his daughter. He pushed his hair back and looked up at his mother as she kissed his head. "Welcome mom." He said, he would let Chesy tell her what happened. He took a drink from his cup and snuggled into his seat.
"Nik" (11:20:35 PM): Cheshire wiggled happily and nuzzled into her mother, whimpering and sniffling a bit. This wasn't how she usually was...but with her family she didn't feel the need to hide. Pulling back, she looked up to her and folded her ears back nervously, "I-I didn't run away..she kidnapped me...said she wanted me.." She mumbled, looking back down between them with a soft sniff. "I didn't want to leave, but she said everyone here was going to hurt me..and that everyone was out to hurt me...so she said she'd protect me until I could protect myself.."
JessieRabbit88 (11:27:36 PM): Denali frowned at her and snuggled her. She would have a talk with Madness about his sister and she would make sure that no one would let her come in to her Casino again. no one steels her daughter and hides her from her and gets away with it. She snuggled her more and growled. "No one would hurt you here, ever. Do you know how upset i've been trying to get you back. I would never hurt you or let someone hurt you! And Ichijou will protect you as well. Your going to be ok now darling. Mommy loves you and i'm not letting you go now." she said as she snuggled her and sat on the chair that Chesy had vacated. "I'm just glad you found your way back love." she said. She smiled at Ichi, knowing that he felt a little awkward, he was pretty much like his father with emotions.
Ichi took another drink and let hem talk, and connect. He had heard the story already. And he would protect his sister but he wasn't going to get all teary eyed and cry over nothing. She was safe and back, she had made his mother better by coming back. So he loved her more for that. They were a full family again and would be from now on. He wouldn't let something happen again to hurt his mother.
"Nik" (11:41:40 PM): Cheshire nodded slightly as her mother reassured her, stepping after her mother she kept close for the time being, not wanting to go too far. The shadows kept creeping in...this place was pretty scary when only the three of them were here. Swallowing thickly, she nuzzled back into her mother and looked to Ichi, blinking. Now what..? Was she home for good, or would MH come back for her..?
Madness--had been keeping an eye on his daughter. As much as cats seemed to talk s**t about him, namely Ruki at this point, he had made sure that he knew where his daughter had gone, and made sure that his sister fed her food that wasn't poisoned. It was a miracle that MH hadn't killed her, to be honest. So he was just happy that she had kept her promise and kept her alive. Stepping through the front door, he cocked his head and grinned at the mini 'reunion', "Ah--Cheshire...you got away," he breathed, stepped up to them as his heavy boot clunked against the floor, "Surprising...or did something happen to MH?"
JessieRabbit88 (11:49:15 PM): Denali smiled at Chesy and pulled her up into her lap in the chair. "Oh love stop looking so scared. No ones taking you away. And your staying here with us now!" She said with a smile. She kissed her cheek and smiled as she played with her hair. "Its all going to be ok now." She said with a smile as she looked up to see Madness come in. She smiled and snuggled Chesy more. "Madness shes back! My daughter is here!" She said with a smile as she hugged Chesy tighter and her eyes watered again.
Ichijou looked at the door as his father walked in. He smiled softly, he liked his father, even if he didn't see him all that much. He snuggled into the chair, he was getting tired and taking care of his sister for the last few hours had made him tired, he hadn't known her coming back would make him so stressed, he just hadn't wanted something to upset his mother. He looked at Madness and frowned. "Why didn't you tell us she had Chesy if you knew? you know mama was looking for her all over the place!"
"Nik" (12:11:33 AM): Cheshire looked up to her father and sniffed once more, burrowing back into her mother's chest and neck. She just wanted to sleep...and she got to see her father every now and again, but she hadn't seen her mother in a long while. Closing her eyes, she sighed and curled up closer to Denali...as close as she could manage without smothering her poor mother.
"I knew when she'd taken Cheshire. I figured it was for the best," Madness mumbled, looking up to the three of them with a smug smirk. "Mad Hatter would have killed them if she didn't get a chance to bond with one," stepping up to them, he brushed his fingers through his son's hair before leaning down to kiss his..somewhat..? lover's forehead. He'd leave Cheshire to herself for the time being. Surprisingly, he had calmed down quite a bit since the kits had been born...and here he'd never thought he could pull 'sane'.
JessieRabbit88 (12:23:50 AM): Denali looked at him and frowned. "Well why though? She could have let me see her a little! Shes my daughter!" she said with anger, but still making her voice quiet so she didn't disturb her tired Chesy. she snuggled her and looked at Madness as he kissed her head. She looked over at Ichi who looked a little mad. "Whats the matter love?" she asked looking at him.
Ichijou sat up more and frowned as he looked at madness. "She was filthy when she got here. And half starved! Acting like i was going to poison her as well, what kind of person makes a child thing shes going to poison her! I hate aunt Mad Hatter and i never wanna see her again! Taking my sister when something else took my first one away! WHY! Making mama suffer like that!" He said as he growled and looked away. He didn't do emotion till it involved his family. Most important his mother and if she suffered he did.
"Nik" (12:33:21 AM): Madness growled a bit and hissed a bit towards their son, "Hush now," he breathed, straightening back up to touch his daughter's cheek. She sniffed a bit and looked up at him, obviously not frightened but also not thrilled. "She would have killed all of you, your sister just..took the brunt of Mad Hatter's personality. She means well, she's just worse off than I am," Mad Hatter had obviously tried to feed her--clothe her, tried to take care of her...but Mad Hatter didn't have the maternal instinct, nor the sanity, to take care of a kitten.
JessieRabbit88 (12:39:14 AM): Ichijou stood and hissed back. "I wouldn't let her take her! If you had brought her back i would have protected her! shes my sister! Your daughter! And you just let her get...messed up by your sister! I might only have one arm but i would have fought her off! And mama would have to! Right mama?" He said looking to his mother.
Denali looked at Ichi and then up at Madness. She...was getting so many feelings for Madness that she just couldn't...tell what she felt. She was...falling in love with him she though. She looked at her son and smiled. "I would not have let her hurt anyone. But she is Madness's sister and he loves her like you love Chesy. And he wouldn't want to hurt her. If he thought this was the easiest way to keep everyone safe then i'll trust him. I might not be happy," she looks at him. "That i didn't know where she was or that she was still alive, but i'm ok now that shes here. And if MH comes for her i will fight her." she said looking at Madness. "Now that i have her back i'm not letting her go again. Are you going to be ok with that?" she asked looking at him.
"Nik" (12:52:46 AM): Madness flicked his ears back as he growled towards his son, half tempted to smack him. He wasn't around often, but he demanded respect--as much respect as he could get from kids that were raised by Denali and himself. He was just in one of those moods where he didn't want to mess with anyone too much, though--his brain wasn't clouded by insanity like it usually was. Came in waves now. "If you can fend her off, go ahead. I told you I only allowed it for your safety, and the kits," Madness muttered, lower lip pushing out slightly. Back to childish mode...
Cheshire looked up to Madness then up to her mother. She didn't hate MH...she loved her, but was scared of her because of her authority...and a few other things, but she wasn't going to bring that up to anyone right now. Sniffing, she pushed herself up to sit up, wrapping her arms around her father's waist without a word. She'd calm down after a while..and be back to what she used to be.
JessieRabbit88 (12:59:33 AM): Ichijou growled back. He found it hard to think of Madness as his father. So far he had learned nothing from the man, when he came around he spent most of the time with Denali. He made her happy, so he didn't care. He turned from them and went to the bar to refill his soda. "What ever. I don't care. If she comes here again i'll give her a piece of my mind." he said as he filled his drink. He looked at his parents. "I'm going to my room now. If you can stop being a child and act like a father let me know." he said as he stormed off from his father, giving his mom and sister a kiss on the head before going to his room.
Denali looked at Madness, that childish pout made him look cute. She smiled and then looked at Ichi as he spoke. She frowned and looked to her daughter and her...lover. She frowned and wasn't sure what to do. She would talk to Ichi tomorrow and see how he felt. "Love you Ichi! sleep well!" she said as she stood and hugged Chesy and Madness. "Chesy do you wanna sleep in bed with us tonight? Is that going to be ok with you Madness?" she wasn't quite sure with her self about calling him love...or dear. She didn't want to set him off with how unsteady he could be at times. She hadn't been with him in a while but the need to fall asleep with her daughter again was too great.
"Nik" (1:10:47 AM): Cheshire looked up to her mother and let Madness go, whining as Ichi wandered off. "I-Ichi," she mumbled, pouting and lowering her ears. "I'm...gonna go with him," she didn't know why, but she wanted to be with her brother. Maybe it was because he had taken care of her for a while, so she felt compelled to be with him right now...she did have a very childish mind state. Pushing herself to get up, she quickly padded after her brother, meeting him part-way up the stairs to tug on his shirt and see if she could go with him.
Madness all but snarled at his 'son', folding his ears back. Unstable was about right...but for now he'd hold his tongue. "He needs more dicipline," he muttered, looking down to Denali. Not that he had much room to talk. "It'll all make sense when and if MH comes back. I hope you understand that," he growled, clenching his jaw. So he wasn't here often with the woman...but he found himself to be lured back to this place day after day...with his children, his..lover. Everything just brought him back and he didn't know why. Maybe that's why he'd been so angry lately.
JessieRabbit88 (1:19:25 AM): Ichijou looked down at his sister as she grabbed his shirt. His angry face softened a little and he took her hand. "Come on. You can sleep in my bed if you want." he said softly. He wasn't sure why he had given her the impression that he was really comfortable with her but...he loved her and she was growing on him. And he had to protect her, to keep their mother happy and to keep her from crazy aunt MH. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and kicked his door open and let her in.
Denali looked at him and frowned. "He keeps me happy when your not here. I'm sorry. But hes just like you, he doesn't like getting bossed around and told what to do. Hes been helping me out. I'll talk to him tomorrow. Hes just not used to you telling him what to do. Hes very protective of me. He got so mad the other day when i fought off a guy who was cheating. And the day before that when i helped John take down some guys who attacked Ruki." She slid her arms around him and rested her head on his chest. "Its going to be ok. He'll get better when your around more often. Shall we go upstairs?" She asked with a smile.
