Bright red eyes reflected all of the goings-ons in this crazy building, flashing every which-way, too excited by the sheer concept of this place to even be able to decide on what he wanted to do. His brother was attached to him by the vice grip that the pride demon had on his hand, hauling him around the little indoor park like a madman, trying to find something that would keep his interest for more than a moment. After having seen this place from the outside, it had taken exactly a week of damn-near nonstop pleading to get Fifth to take them, so nonstop that he'd fallen asleep at the man's bedside more than once in his incessance. And now here they were. And what on earth would they do first?

Even if Gabriel hadn't been clinging like an eel to his arm, Damien wouldn't have wanted to be separated from his brother for one second in this place. The bright lights and cacophony of sound kept him attached to his braver brother, glaring rather terrified daggers at everyone who bumped into him. This was definitely not the place for him, and he'd been silently praying all this week that Fifth's resistance wouldn't wear down. But it did, and here they were. And after being dragged about three circuits around it, Damien was ready to sit still for a little. But what to do about Gabriel...?

Out of the corner of his eye, Damien spotted something called a Wack-a-Mole. He dug his heels into the carpet and his claws into his brother's arm to get his attention, pointing at the machine. Maybe Gabriel wouldn't want to play it, but at least he could pretend he could. Then they could rest for a little.

The flashing lights, the screaming and running wild kids, This was not the ideal place for dinner at least as far as Dooma was concerned. But now that Vali had grown his energy had gotten even more long lasting. He was starting to sleep less and less. For a sloth spawn he was far from lazy or in need of lots of sleep. So maybe if he could run around like all the others he could wear himself out.

Vali looked around the building. There was so much to do here. And it had a wonderful smell of food. Oh he planned on trying this Pizza thing tonight. And all those games looked supper fun too. Dooma had given him a handful of coins and sent him off to play some games wail she ordered and waited for the food. And he was ready to use them.

The metallic spawn made his ways to the closest line of games. He moved slowly form one to the other trying to figure out which one he should play. He was not aware of the light reflecting off of him like he was a disco ball as he searched for the prefect game to play first.

Thankfully, Damien did catch Gabriel's attention by making the both of them stop and gesturing toward all of the games. But it wasn't the Whack-a-Mole game that caught his attention, it was the shiny, metallic, walking... person? that caught his red-eyed gaze. Gasping quietly, he released his brother's hand without consciously realizing it and drifted over to the male, absolutely delighted when he could, in fact, see his reflection in the male's 'skin'. With the biggest smile on his face, the pride boy turned his gaze up toward Vali.

"You'we wike a giant miwwow," he said in complete and total shock, awe, and admiration before he latched onto the boy, arms secured tightly around his waist. "You'we my favouwite!!"

Damien had followed his brother at a rather slower pace, not wanting to go near the metallic boy for the same reason Gabriel was so enthralled by him. He scowled at his own reflection, tail flicking angrily, and stood about half a step behind his brother. He glared at both Vali and his ridiculous brother, then raised a hand in greeting. "'Lo... Gab'rel 'nd Damien..." he muttered, trying to resist the temptation to claw into his brother. He was drawing so much attention... Now Damien really wanted to go home.

Vali had just fond the perfect game to play. It was one with lots of bright lights and a button in the middle that you had to push. As he was about to put a coin inside he felt someone standing rather close to him. Turning Vali looked down to find a young spawn looking at him. This brought a large sharp tooth grin, which incidentally Gabriel would be able to also see is reflection in. "A mirror? Am I?" He asked softly only to find the short spawn wrapping his arms around his waist. He felt a blush come to his cheeks at being called someone's favorite. No one had ever said that he was their favorite before. He laughed softly and lifted his arms up so that he would not accidentally cut this other boy.

When he heard a voice he looked over to see another boy about the same age. "Gabreal and Damien huh? It is nice to meet you, my name Vali." he smiled at the other boy who seemed more shy. "Don't worry I don't bite. Want to play A game I have some coins to play if you want!" he said happily and then carefully held out one hand towards Damien. "Gabreal you are very good at hugging!" he said with soft praise. Vali was one who did love to be hugged by anyone.

Gabriel smiled happily as he continued to hug his favourite new mirror-friend. His tail flipped back and forth behind him rapidly and his headwings pressed back in contentment. When he tried to speak to Damien, Gabriel finally looked up from where his head had been buried, which was generally the area of the shiny male's stomach. He pouted softly, then looked up at the other.

"Isokay. He just doesn't wike miwwows, wight 'Amie?" he asked his brother, shooting a cute smile over his shoulder at the much angrier little boy. Then, his attention was immediately locked back onto Vali. "S'nice t'meetcho, too, Vawi!!" Gabriel squeaked happily, smiling even wider when he was told that he was good at hugging, now bouncing up and down as he continued to cling to Vali, though he tried not to jostle the older male too much. "I am vewy good at huggin, fankoo fow noticin'!!" The saddest part was the fact that he was serious.

Damien looked at this Vali character in confusion when he said he didn't bite like it was a good thing. Was not biting bad? He blinked and stared at the coins he was offered, nodding blankly along with Gabriel's comment about mirrors. He was always afraid they were going to crack whenever he looked in them. Glancing a little fearfully up at Vali, he gently plucked a coin out, gasping as he dropped it. Almost immediately, the boy's claw went into his arm, making a small but fairly deep scratch around a community of others. Damien quickly picked up the coin, trying to touch it as little as possible, and handed it back to Vali. "Sowwy. Made et wowse..."

Vali smiled and nods to the boy still wrapped around him. He rather liked this one. He even liked the other one who seemed much more shy. "Oh if you don't like seeing yourself in my skin...I have a jacket I can put on? I can leave one side up for you Gabriel and one side down for you Damien." He said softly before watching Damien with the coin.

It was really odd how he seemed to scared. "Don't worry...its okay...how about this, I can put the coins in the games for you. Or we can forget the cames and go play on the playground. It is dark in some of those places so you don't have to see my skin." he was a bit sad to find another person who did not like him for being metallic. But it was true that a person could not be liked by everyone. However the vitreous side in Vali made him only want to try and help Daimen all the more now.

Gabriel didn't at all approve of the idea of Vali's skin getting covered up and immediately latched himself onto the still-visible arm that was closest to him, pointed ears and butterfly headwings both drooping back to express his disapproval. Then the compromise followed this and his wings stayed back and his ears perked up the tiniest of bits before falling back again. No, that wasn't right either. Because Gabriel liked the reflective qualities of his skin, he should be able to see them! It was just Damien, and even though he was the best brother in the world, he wasn't even on-par with Gabriel's greatness.

"But... but... but wuddabout me? if you'we in de dawk, I can't see you, eivver, and I stiww wan'na!!" he complained loudly, the talons on his dinosauric feet scraping gently into the ground as his tail hit the ground in disagreement. "I'm mowe impowtant than 'Amie, so, so even dough he's the bestest bwuvvew, Vawi shouwd stay aww shiny 'cause I wan' 'im too and I'm the best!!"

Damien shook his head at Vali's offer, frowning slightly at the suggestion. That would make Gabriel unhappy, and besides that, no one should change just for him. That was a stupid idea. Pointing towards Gabriel, he shook his head. "Nuh-uh. Gabby wikes de shinies. More 'portant den Daminen."

When Vali offered to put the coins in for Damien, he nodded, looking around for a suitable place. It had to be out of the way, but still entertaining for Gabriel and his friend... The small spawn quickly got frustrated and gave up, shrugging moodily. "Games's fine. Whaddya wanna pway, Gabby 'n' Vali?"

Vali watched at Gabriel threw a tiny fit and wrapped his arms tighter around his own metallic ones. He tilted his head looking down at the colorful hair. "You will still get to see me. You can see me when ever you want." he said with a smile showing his metallic teeth." Yes Damien is a very good brother. I think he is a great brother! I think your both important."

He reached his free hand up to rub his non moving hair. "Mmm...well there has to be a way to make things far to the two of you." He let his eyes gaze around the games and he smiled, "Ah do you two like to dance?" He asked looking over at one of the dancing games it was in a darker corner but it had different colored lights that would allow his skin to still be seen but not in an annoying brightness. "We could try one of the dancing games. Or what bout the shooting ones?"

Gabriel Avenue was a force to be reckoned with when he was in upset, especially when it involved such things as not being able to see himself in sentient mirrors and his brother's feelings being taken into consideration at the same level as his own. The tip of the boy's tail flicked as he trembled faintly, only a small portion of his own arrogance forcing him to bite back threatening tears, the small part that realized he wasn't sure what he was crying about anyway. Vali was just trying to compromise, after all. Then again, that also meant that Vali was valuing Damien's opinion as highly as Gabriel's. Which was wrong. Not even Damien did that. Only Daddy did that, and he was allowed, because they were Daddy's kids and he didn't have a choice but to pay attention to Damien instead sometimes.

Didn't stop Gabby from throwing a fit when that happened.

The boy clung only tighter to Vali, a small part of him wondering if he would just be able to take the boy home with him or something. He looked at the ground in defeat when it was restated that fairness was something that the shining spawn actually valued, something which made Gabriel even more unhappy. Sighing softly, he kicked at the ground just a bit with one of his large-clawed feet before glancing back up at the metallic boy, looking around at the different games that surrounded the lot of them. Wondering briefly what he would excel at and realizing that his knowledge of the gaming world was exceedingly small, he shrugged and wiggled a bit, for once silenced. This 'fairness' thing was weird - he didn't quite know how to deal with it, not to mention that it meant he had to realize that Damien had an opinion, even if he never expressed it... The toddler whined softly; the sickening feeling in his belly at the idea of his brother being his equal gnawed gently at him. It was weird! And stupid! And he didn't like it!!

Given his 'family', Damien was already at least vaguely familiar with the concept of guns, and so when Vali suggested that, the boy perked up just slightly. His headwings fluttered gently, and while he didn't exactly smile, his features calmed, like the sea after a storm. Perhaps he would actually be able to have fun here, which was something he had severely doubted going in. Despite initial misgivings - he never seemed to like the same things Gabriel did - he began to consider that this Vali wasn't too bad.

Of course, that was until Gabriel was upset for even the slightest moment. Damien's expression immediately furrowed, and he stepped closer to his brother. His tail flicked angrily behind him as he glared up at Vali; he knew that this consideration thing wasn't anything good. One hand just barely brushed against Gabriel's shoulder, and Damien's tone was surprisingly calm for him. "Nono, 'm less 'portant than Gabby, I pwomise. 'Nd we c'n pway whatever kinda game that Gabby wantsta, mmkay?" He punctuated this statement with another glare towards Vali, as if daring him to try and contradict what he knew to be true once again. Stupid... shiny guy.

Vali could feel the tightening of Gabriel's arms around his. The pulling of the small male as if trying to get him away from Damien. Glancing down he could see an odd little look shadowing the other spawns face. Vali might not know what was going on in his pretty little head but all of Gabriel's body language and actions were saying he was upset or at least getting ready to throw a fit. It seemed now like he had started to up set the other one.

He turned to look at Damien just in time to watch him perk up and the head wings flutter. He watched the soft wings and felt a small need to run his fingers along them. He loved to touch wings. They were so soft and gentle. He smiled glad to see that at least Damien seemed to be relaxing. That was good then they could bot cheer Gabriel up.

The metalic boy winced a bit when suddenly Damien's eyes grew mean. He did not like it when people looked at him like that. He flashed back to the slumber party he had gone too and how, in less direct words, said he hated Vali, never invited him, and never wanted to be near him. Vali's perky tail dropped a bit and his mouth grew confused giving him a look of a dog that had just been kicked. "No one is more or less important than others....everyone is important in their own way...." he started to say but then he was given another sharp knife to the heart look and he sighed. "What do you want to do then Gabriel?" He could not understand why they could not all find something to do that would be fun for all of them.

Gabriel's grip didn't faulter on Vali's arm, his wide, red eyes staring straight at the ground, filled to the brim with confused tears. Of course... of course he was more important, wasn't he? His tail flicked gently. No, but Damien was his twin, was just as important as him, right? But Damien acted like he wasn't as important as Gabriel was anyway, right?! And since Gabriel had always thought more of himself than Damien had ever even had a chance to, which meant that Gabriel had to be more important, right? A half-whimper crept out from between Gabriel's lips, the tears already dripping down his face and onto Vali's shining skin.

"I d-d-dun'n-no..." he whimpered sadly, filled with guilt and other emotions that contrasted and thus overwhelmed his pride, sending him into a depth of emotional pain that he'd never before experienced in his short life. His tanned body slipped slowly downward, green fingers slowly releasing their hold on Vali's arm as he slowly curled up on the ground, still teetering on his feet as he tightly hugged onto his own legs. "D-Daminen ma-ade it ha-hawd... I d-dun'n-no...." And with that final statement, Gabriel Avenue was overwhelmed by grief, crying pitifully to himself, for once out of his own emotional turmoil, for once not trying to get undue attention.

Damien kept a steady glare on Vali, and rolled his eyes in a much more adult expression of exasperation than he should know when the stupid walking mirror kept on declaring that he was equal to Gabriel, which was of course just stupid. He should have known that someone as shiny as that would be dumb. He didn't know what else he could do to make Vali understand that he didn't want to have a say in things because he didn't deserve them. He didn't want to deserve them in the first place! He growled and ran a hand through his hair angrily. Why were people so stupid as to not see that too, especially when Gabriel was right there! Couldn't they see how much better his twin was?!

Although he was in no way angry with Gabriel, he was still glaring when he watched his brother collapse, despite the expression softening. He blinked for a few moments in confusion, as he'd thought up until now that Vali had been the one screwing things up. But then, he did make everything terrible, and Vali was someone that Gabriel, who was better, liked, so his opinion was probably better than stupid old his anyway. He closed his eyes and sighed, inwardly thankful that the way to proceed had become clear. He stepped forward and laid a hand on Gabriel's shoulder once again, speaking low. "'M sowwy, Gabby. Hewe, I'll go home 'nd you c'n pway wif your stupid miwwow fwiend." He turned and began to head in the opposite direction. Although he didn't like the idea of leaving Gabriel here, he was making everything worse, and he hadn't wanted to come to this flashy place anyway.

Vail could feel the tension mounting in the air. His sharp metal teeth found his bottom lip and chewed on it. His tail flicked out behind him in irritation. He did not like seeing people upset. And when he heart the soft whimper of Gabriel and he felt the hands sliding down off his arm he stopped and turned, his lips and face twisted in worry. He made a glance around hopping that no passing person thought he had hurt the smaller spawn.

Even with the glares and the hatred he felt from Damien broke his heart. Though Damien always seemed to dislike him. He hated it wen people looked at him with such distain. He just could not understand how someone could continually put himself down and another person could just deal with that like it was true. He knelt down next to Gabriel and put his hand out to softly touch the smaller spawn. "Please stop crying Gabriel...I am sorry I did not mean to upset you. Please do not keep crying. Look we can do what you want okay. I won't make you upset again." he looked up as Damien moved to leave. "You don't have to leave Damien. I won't cause any more problems if you want to play too." he lips were set a bit in a frown. But he turned back his face to Gabriel. "Please don't cry anymore. Damien it is not your fault. I made this hard on both of you I am sorry. I wont cause any more problems..."

Damien stopped when that stupid freaking mirror spoke to him once again. His tail flicked dangerously back and forth as his small hands clenched into small fists. Despite how much he just wanted to wheel around and shout at this dumb shiny creature until it shut up forever, he forced himself to think his anger through. Clearly the mirror was too stupid to understand everything he said before. He was going to have to extremely clear, which only made him more angry. He hated having to wait.

After a minute of thought, he turned back to face Vali and the crying Gabriel behind him, and pointed a lethal claw at the elder, voice level and very serious for such a young child. "IS my fault 'acause Gabby said so. 'Nd dat's all why; no more why. If you weally wanna stop bein' pwoblems, den stop sayin' silly fings like I mattew 'nd fings. 'Cause I don't, 'nd Gabby does." On that note, he leaned around to voice this next comment to Gabriel as well, although it was in the air whether or not the crying child would hear him. The spawn couldn't speak loudly under the best of circumstances. "'Nd unwess Gabby wants me 't stay, 'm leavin', 'cause ovverwise it'll just suck," he said with a firm nod. He hoped that Vali understood that he meant business; he did swear and everything.

Everything hurt. From his arms to his stomach to his chest - every part of Gabriel was aching terribly, and he had nothing to blame but the overwhelming and painful sadness that ate away at him. Even his sobbing had died down to nothing but delayed, quiet whimpers. When Damien said that he was leaving, Gabriel looked up suddenly, fear, worry, and pain all visible in his tear filled eyes. He was trembling too much to raise himself to his feet, however, and dropped his head down once again, staring blankly at the ground and knowing that he wasn't going to be able to say anything that would keep Damien with him.

But Vali did. Or, correction, Vali tried. While the mirrored male tried to calm Gabriel as well as trying to retrieve his defiant brother, the pride boy rose slowly to his feet, arms wrapped tightly around himself. "You din't..." he murmured very, very quietly, trying to tell Vali that he wasn't upset even as his abnormally quiet voice was drowned out by the sound of his brother's.

Shakily, he stepped past Vali, reaching out to take hold of his brother's arm, hugging onto it like a life raft. "I don' f-f-feew good, D-Daminen," he whimpered pitifully, more tears pouring forth as he spoke, the sobs coming back when all he'd done was raise his voice to an audible volume. He glanced back at Vali and tried to smile, only for it to wobble and faulter and cause even more tears that only hurt even more. Ears, headwings, and tail all drooped down, he reached out to take hold of one of Vali's fingers, sobbing quietly once again as he did so, looking between them both.

"I d-d-dun'no wh-what to d-doo," he murmured sadly, body trembling shakily as he held onto both of them, glancing at the games and feeling terrible for crying, for ruining it, glancing at Damien and feeling terrible for thinking of him like nothing but a pedestal for himself - his own brother! He tugged gently on them both. "I w-w-wan'na has f-fun, but I don' feew g-good... b-but I wan'na has a Vawli so I can make him feew b-beddur an' 'c-cause I stiww t'ink we can has fun... whaddu I do...?" he asked finally, still sounding pitiful as he looked between both of his company.

Vali winced visably when Damien spoke so harshly at him. So he really was such a horrible person. Another person hated him. Suddenly being near spawns was not something he wanted to do. He was having more and more of an effect at upsetting people. He watched Gabriel stand and moved towards his brother. He was hurting so much. And in the long run it had been all Vali's fault.

The smile was fully gone from the older child's face. Even when Gabriel looked back at him and tried to smile. He watched as Gabriel tried to hold his finger and he sighed, "If your not feeling well Gabriel maybe you should go to your parent. They can make you feel better. I...well I am sure Dooma wants to leave, besides we got our pizza to go. I am sure you can have fun without me. And I am sure we can meet up again later." The best thing to do was to leave before he made thigns worse. Just like at the slumber party. They only want to make others feel safe or happy he had to stay away. "Thank you for talking with me and your hugs though. Here you can have all my tokens." Vali reached out to take the pride spawn's hand and dropped his small amount of tokens in it. "I am sorry your not feeling well. Please get better soon."

Slowly Vali stood and he turned. He could see that Dooma was not watching them and she seemed to have caught on because even as the pizza was delivered to her table she was already having it boxed up. "I will see you later I promise Gabreil." He gave a small smile and with that he started to walk towards Dooma. He needed to get out of here. Why had he upset two others. Clearly he could not make everyone happy...maybe he couldn't make anyone happy.

Gabriel didn't honestly want to go off with either of them. Small as he was, he simply didn't understand that he was only upset, having never done anything but pretended to cry since he was infant, and here he was actually crying, actually upset. He didn't understand that once he was happy, once he felt better, he wouldn't feel as sick as he did now. But now, with no distraction or anything similar, he was unable to ignore the comment about going back to his parent, back to Fifth. A soft laugh fell unbidden from his lips, bringing more tears with it. Yeah, right. Daddy who was never there. Daddy the gang leader. Daddy who never cared that Gabriel was crying because there was no way he was upset.

Regardless, he nodded shakily, knowing that at least Damien would help him feel better. Trembling, he turned toward Vali and stepped up the metallic boy, wrapping his arms around the elder's waist and hugging him tightly, trying to keep his dampness off the other's clothing. He nodded along to the mirror's comments, tail flicking back and forth as he clung to him for as long as he could, feeling a bit better by the time he let go of him. He smiled faintly up at the other and nodded slowly. "Mmk-kay. Wong as you pwomised..." he murmured, hugging the tokens close, tokens that he didn't intend to spend for the sake of remembering the older boy. Not that he wouldn't be reminded of him every time he saw a mirror from now on...

Damien watched the interaction between Gabriel and the mirror with a juvenile version of apathy. Not that he didn't care about Gabriel, but he was finding it hard to sympathize with Vali, even if he did have good advice. Despite the fact that Vali was stupid to think that their Daddy was going to be home, being busy with work and all, if Gabby was sick, he should be going home. That way, Damien could at least try to make him better.

Arms crossed as he watched Gabriel hugged Vali, Damien walked forward and placed a leading hand on his brother's shoulder. "Mmkay. C'mon Gabby, let's go." As he semi-led his twin away, he turned and, while he didn't exactly smile, he might have blinked approvingly at Vali. "Fanks fer tokens, Miwwow. Bye-bye."
