Some diseases and conditions are terrible but their names don;t phonetically sound that bad. Like 'flu' and Crohn's Disease' and even 'tumor.'
To someone who doesn't speak the language, they don't sound that scary phonetically.
But some ailments just sound menacing just from the name. Can you name any?
I'll start:
-Necrotizing Fasciitis
-Ulcerative Colitis
-Tuberculosis

One that sounds okay ("I have it!" etc etc), but it's really horrible!
- Chagas disease.
And then we have Skin Necrosis. That's awful no matter how you look at it.

Uh.... Dermatitis has a little bit of a rough phonetic sound to it...
Oh, and Schizophrenia, though that's quite a different ailment.
