Story Welcome to Ugania, the largest region to be discovered and one of the few places in this world where every known pokemon can be seen in one area, as well as several that have never been seen before. Because of the vast amount of land that is still unknown to most of the world, it is unknown just how many new pokemon may be found. It has been discovered, however, that the rare pokemon of legends across the world, aren't quite as rare as we once thought. Many of the species have been seen in large groups among themselves and others of the same type. The reasoning behind this, according to the pokemon professors and scientists, is that even though they have longer lifespans and even greater power, some are still capable of being caught, injured, or killed. The vast numbers of these species prevents any calamities from happening if one, the only one, suddenly disappeared. Suicune, the guardian of the waters, would be one such example. It can purify water by touching it and if the only one died, it would cause chaos to the ecosystems. Some see the large number of these pokemon as a way to make money, take over the world, or the latest scare...lab created, hybrid pokemon. Ones that were pure human and forced to become part pokemon inorder to be stronger soldiers for a new world order. The people leading these experiments are the teams that have tried many times before for their own world order: Team Rocket, Team Aqua, Team Magma, Team Galatic, Team Cipher, and Team Snagem. These teams have been brought together under the leadership of Team Midnight, lead by a corrupt leader that has strived to gain the impossible every day of his life.

Well, we've had some hiatuses and I'm sorry mine has been without much excuse. (Online but no posting. =/) However, I am very glad to see that we have new members in the guild and a few have joined the RP. ^_^ Helps keep it alive when there are long spaces of time between the posts. I thank you for this members and welcome you to the world of Ugania.
Now, onto the BIG announcement, and this really deserves attention, the beginning of a new map is underway and until it's finished...I am requesting that everyone take a break from the RP and help name locations on the map.

Ok, so it's after midnight and technically the 12th but I don't care right now since it's part of the last announcement.
Part B: I will add another profile of mine as I want to be in control of Team Midnight until I can find someone better suited for the role. This is the only other character I'll have (currently) and I hope it'll work out as effective as I hope it to. ^^;

Part A: Just to avoid any problems from arising before from the lack of people, all members are asked to conduct their own battles with unknowns (Characters made on the spot for the need of training, battling, or catching. Catching reffering to wild Pokemon brought into play.) This is brought into effect due to the fact it's not completely natural (or a good idea unless skilled for it, which I'll admit that I'm not) to act as two characters at the same time. I say this because I designed my character as one part of me and to control another at the same time as that one wouldn't be very effective, as I would be in control of both. It'd give less realism to the RP in other words...unless experienced enough to make it seem normal for the RP. (This applies to all members, I'm only an example of how it might not work. ^^; )

Rules
1. Follow all guild and RP specific rules.
2. Keep it clean, any romance that goes further than kissing,
hugging, etc. is to be taken outside the guild and preferably outside of Gaia.
3. Cursing is fine, but I don't want to see more than TEN curses in your post and I expect them to be well spaced.
4. Gore is fine as well, but no overkill and keep it realistic.
5. ALL PROFILES ARE TO BE SENT TO ME AND APPROVED BEFORE YOU CAN START POSTING. If you need to change something in your profile, PM me another complete profile and I'll post that in its place. Profiles for Hybrids/Pokemorphs/Gijinka, Gym Leaders, and Trainers are to be subjected: "Invitation Recieved". Profiles for Team Midnight (Which includes Team Rocket, Aqua, Magma, Galatic, Cipher, and Snagem.) are to be subjected: "Stolen Invitation Recieved". Please post which team you are a part of and your rank or it will be assumed that you are a Team Midnight Grunt. (Members must be qualified before being allowed a higher rank in any team.)

7. This is a Literate/Semi-Literate RP, please try to keep it as such. To help with this, please use "Quotations" to speak, Italics to think, and no putting actions in *asteriks* or -hyphens-. Thank you.

Elite Four 1. Type: 2. Type: 3. Type: 4. Type: League Champion: Space is limited as the International Pokemon League only allows for four Elite Four members in each region. ((To prevent any arguments, the GPC has designated that there can be only one League Champion and that the spot cannot be earned by defeating the Champion.))

Location Naming Contest!

Rules:
1. Make a list of three (3) or more location names and mark on the map where they would be. (Please save the image to your computer, it's safe I promise, and edit it with an art program. Photobucket, Paint, etc. Save again and then move onto Rule 2)
2. Please PM the new image with the names either marked on the image or listed below with a number corresponding to a numbered arrow or line pointing out the place it would be on the map.
3. Multiple entries are allowed, but I urge you to name each location ONLY ONCE. (i.e. Send a short list first, think of new names for new locations, and then send another list.)
Notes: There will be links placed here, as well as in the RP and Guild announcements, for name voting. We have several locations to name, so expect the birth of a Voting Arena to come into play for contests. 3nodding Also expect to see SEVERAL Poll pages for each location.
