During their explorations through the forest, Lycoris and Leila discovered a secret place, a hidden glen in the middle of of woods.
It actually started one morning when Leila got up and decided she wanted to play 'hunting', with Lyco as her only playmate. She chased him all the way to the glen, where both little taur stopped, amazed by the beauty before them. A little stream ran through it, and the think canopy of trees overhead diminished, as if it were a skylight, or a huge window over the small valley. A little, clear stream teeming with fish ran through it all leading to a small, crytal clear pool lined with stones. There was soft, carpet-like grass and clover patches everywhere.
Colorful, tiny flowers dotted the green, and berry bushes plump with bright, ripe berries grew around the perimeter. There were plenty of hiding places. A little rabbit hopped into view, and before Lycoris had blinked, Leila was after it.
The two little taurs spent the afternoon there, and no matter what they did, no matter how many berries they ate, or flowers they trampled, the place still looked perfect in everyway, and the glen looked the same evrytime they returned to it. They decided to tell their friends and all the other taur about this, and continued to return to it.
But little did they know that all the time they played, a single taur watched from the trees in amusement, making sure no harm could befall any who came to play in the Little Taur Glen.
((Please feel free to join! Older taur may come of course, but little taur may find they enjoy it more. Fritzi will be watching them and checking in from time to time, so no one needs to worry for their little one's saftey in the glen. whee Have fun, and please remember to follow the Guild's RP rules!))

The sun stood at its zenith and beamed down on Emori as he pranced through the flowers. Of course, Tavok was close behind, watching over his brother while giving him a certain amount of freedom. He'd make his presence known if he felt there was anything dangerous afoot, but for now he felt it was important to give the boy a sense of independence. Emori was oblivious to him anyways, and continued to skip through the flowers, stopping every so often to sniff at a particularly beautiful one or to admire the effect the sun's gleam had on his clean fur.
Trees began to appear sparsely around him, but he paid them no mind. It was not long, however, until he found himself in a rather dense forest. It was hardly as dense to Tavok, who was used to such places, but Emori, who thought himself to be lost, took off at a nervous run. Cursing under his breath, Tavok followed, remarking to himself how devlishly fast foxtaurs could be.
Emori soon broke out of the forest and tumbled into the glen with a squeak of surprise, while Tavok, after a moment of indecision, hid behind a tree to continue his investigation. His ears quickly picked up the sounds of other baby taurs - perfect! Emori needed to socialize, and Emori called out "Hello?" just as Tavok thought this.

"Hello?" a voice echoed back, but it was different. A little taur's head poked out of a little berry bush nearby. At the sight of Tavok and Emori, a small smile shone upon the little one's face. "Yay! More taurs come! Come come come!" It was Leila, but she was acting very un-Leila ish. She giggled and had a crown of multicolored flowers in her hair. Her face was smeared with berry juice and she ran to tackle Emori.
A second little taur, Lycoris, trotted over to greek Tavok. "Hi! Want to play?" he asked cheerfully, placing some red berries in the elder taur's hand.

[ Riome smirked. "You little devil. Can't get away, Can you?" He looked at his work. A coller Sei had given him with a little tag that said 'Taku, I sugjest you let him go or he might kill you or your cats' And little vines woven together. "No getting at cats anymore for you." He finished walkng his brother and folded his legs. He blinked slowly. "Where am I? and why is it so Colorful?" He was confused. And Taku took advantage of it.
He growled. "Get it off of I'll kill you!" He tugged on it with his little hands and tried chewing on the vines. "I'll get at cats. I'll kill the lazy things!!" Taku sat. He didn't want to be walked. He wanted to fight. He glanced up at Riome and looked at his confused face. His grip wansn't as tight on his leash anymore. Heyanked on it and it came loose from Rio easily. "HahHa!" He laughed and ran into the trees. He wasn't comingback until he got the leash off. ]

Emori's ears perked as his call came back to him, although not as an echo. He vaguely recognized that voice - and then the back cattaur whom it belonged to came running out from a berry bush, heading straight towards him. Bracing himself for impact, Emori tumbled back softly as he was tackled, giggling under his breath. He could smell the berries smeared across her cheeks, and while it smelled ncie, he certainly didn't want any of that juice in his clean fur...he divered his attention to her crown instead. "Oooh, flowers! Pretty crown!" he squeaked delightedly, his vocabularly still rather limited.
Tavok's eyes widened slightly as the other taur-child came running over towards him - apparently he would have to work more at camoflauging. He could sense his cover being blown, but he just couldn't resist those bright eyes. Emori seemed to be preoccupied anyways. "Hello there, little one...what're these for?" He smiled and held the berries up to his nose, wondering if they were safe to eat. His nose didn't seem to say they were unsafe, so he didn't dispose of them.

((I'm so sorry! I didn't read carefully enough! I didn't know Tavok was hiding! xp Want me to pretend Lycoris didn't come over?))
Leila tried looking up at her crown. "Oh." She took it down and stared at it, then after a moment, placed it on Emori's head. "You thirsty? Yummy water there!" The little cattaur cub pointed to the center of the glen, where the little stream flowed in a mini waterfall into a crystal clear pool, where it collected, and then overflowed, continuing it's path toward the ocean.

Matteo rolled in the grass and flowers, and enjoyed batting at the fish in the water while he lay on the side of the stream. "This is great! We could LIVE here! And make a fort! We have food and water...everything we could want! And best of all...no grown-ups to boss us around or tell us what to do..."

((RYUU!!! *glomps* Now we just need Aqurom, Nole, and Poppy...There's the pool he can swim in if he choses. He can swim upstream from the ocean to come play!))
